I recently installed thwisps cm10.1 for galaxy ace plus.
Everything is working fine except for games.
When I start a game I downloaded from the play store, the game shows a black screen and after a few seconds it crashes to my home screen. This is my only problem in this rom, but it's very frustrating.
I tested the games Hill Climb Racing and Raft Pirates.
They both crash on startup, they did work before I installed this rom.
Raft Pirates crashed after login, and since I logged in every startup.
Does someone know a fix? Or a setting I need to change?

thats a known bug
still no solution for that as thewhisp is not releasing the latest builds for our device
when we get latest build this problem will be solved

because if you have read the mini 2 thread it says that new builds fixed that game crashing bug !!!

Hi,
I have a Acer a700, with the CM10.1 nightly, and the EA games The simpsons doesn't work at all.
I don't know if it work under the stoc rom, but i think it's a resolution related problem. The game quit right after the EA logo...
Has anyone be able to make this game work ?

i've tried the game under CM10.1 (nightlies), 7comp and iconian 2.6
The result is always the same.

Yeah, i have the same problem. Does not work with CM and doesn't work with Stock Rom.
I think there is an app that can change the resolution. You could try it, i did not have the time to test this.
I've tried to change the dpi (240 to 160), but the tab was unable to boot after that...
So i guess we got to wait for an update that makes the app compatible or we can't use it on the tab!

With 7comp you can try to change the DPI only for your App (and not the whole Tab)

ok, after all it's not related to dpi or resolution...tested with multiple dpi/res combination, same result...
oh, and by the way, the asus tf700t, based on sinar hardware (same cpu, same resolution...) have the same problem...

Google play usually crashes during or right after an install of an app, facebook crashes after log in, sometimes it will log in and even show some statuses, but as soon as i try to scroll i crashes. I got angrybird working with uninstall - install, and also tested several other apps which works fine, starting to believe that FB app is not compatible with 4.0.4 ?

Believe me, I'm sure Facebook works with all versions . Try a factory reset.

I have tried reset, i have several of the same tablets and facebook and google play keeps crashing on all of the three i have tested. This is very strange...

Did you solve the google play problem ? I mean some apps in google play that are working on our device are blocked from downloading like Mozilla Firefox and others that are not working on our device like Real Racing 3 can be downloaded from google play and there are many more examples like this. Is this problem fixed in your rom ?

bro..i dont know about what u r talking about but the supported app for our phone can be downloaded from android market
WIFI is not working in this ROM, it gets stuck at obtaining IP adress no matter what you do and what WIFI network you chose !
The bluetooth is also not working...

I can't make a video and post it on youtube because i don't own a separate camera... I think that i was very clear in what i told you regarding your rom's bugs !

haha sure.. But have to take nandroid of currunt rom, and now I have only 125 mb free on sd card, need top sort it..

Ok I have tried the rom, encountered some issues, like always getting msg youtube fc,
Second major issue is like " WI/FI not connecting to a hotspot... I have created a hotspot on my Nexus 4 But in P690 it is showing "obtaining ip address only for a long time"
Fix that OP..

There is a rom called giggerblur b. In that those fixes are provided as separate zips.

My question is : Why is this happening ? It is the rom ? Our phone? It is incompatible ? Anyone game will work?

I think phone isn't incompatible cause it's high end game
It's compatible.Maybe he have downloaded incorrect game data or something like bad apk.It's working flawlessly on my phone.I've complete it without any issues like lag/freeze or etc

It's working without issues.I've tried it on stock based and cm based roms,and there weren't any crashes or any other problems.

Maybe you downloaded the wrong data or download an incompatible version ..
Might I turn the page from where you downloaded it? I agree with that also supports, as in youtube there is a video playing modern combat 4 in sii +!

It is based on cm-13 and has a xperia ui skin to it. Btw don't forget to download xospapps, just google it

Ok. Installing after my backup finishes. I'll let you know in 24 hrs how it's looking.
Here's my update after 1 full day of use. At first it started acting funky but after settling in, it's running pretty damn good. Everything seems to work fine. No apps crashing and experiencing no lag. I'm using the latest stable Lamda Kernel where my battery life is superb.
Update: One bug I'm finding. I can't get weather provider services to work even though I have two weather apps installed.

I will wait for XOSP to push out an update, and if it still there I shall investigate. Also, go on the main XOSP thread for LG G2 Android development to post replies, as I have now released the build to the public

Tried it on my D801 and as soon as it loaded majority of the Xperia apps including Xperia home crashed. Not sure if I missed anything . . . . . Any suggestions
