Followed the steps to the end.. But as soon as my e6 reboots to recovery... All i get is gibberish/distorted colored screen.. But no cwm.. Can you help...
rooted elife e6 with major issue after busybox install
I did the rooting with framaroot for my Gionee e6 as mentioned. After rooting I downloaded jrummys app rom manager pro and downloaded busybody from the in app link of rom manager pro. I had initially installed a custom boot animation app from the rom mgr pro. Everything was fine so far. Boot animation was lovely. But after downloading busybody and rebooting _ All Hell broke loose! Boot animation kept playing in loop. I panicked and everything from wiping cache and formatting the storage. But nothing worked. Now only Gionee logo is showing! PLUS help asap.

What CWM do you have? if you have Carliv touch recovery you can hook it up to your pc, and mount your phone as a usb, uploadthe backup you made or a new rom and flash it...

try this tutorial worked best for me (I also have the same problem with distorted screen in recovery)
i used the rom of walton primo f2 on my gionee p2 but now it not booting up it only shows the logo of walton and nothing else i tried both the options format whole flash and format flash except bootloader:crying: please help me
For a very safe rooting of Gionee Elife E3 Kitkat firmware :
1.Flash Philz Recovery attached with the help of spflash tool.
2.Boot into recovery
3.Go to Advanced Functions
4.Click Re-root System(SuperSu) and wait till process completed.
5.Reboot Device
6.Install SuperSu from Play Store.
7.Open SuperSu and update binary.
8.Reboot Device and enjoy rooted Gionee Elife E3

Note:Make a setting in recovery before doing procedure to avoid screen off. Go to Recovery Setting/GUI preference/Dim Screen Delay, tap until 0(Disabled) appears in value. do same procedure for ScreenOf Delay also.
In philz Recovery Sdcard0=Internal Storage
Sdcard1=External Storage(Sd Card)

So I have a rooted Allview X1 Soul which is a rebranded Gionee Elife E6 with stock firmware. I tried to flash CWM recovery but every time I boot into it i get only the logo stuck permantetly and a few randomly colored lines on the top of the display. Is there any way to revert to stock recovery mode or to possibly flash another custom recovery ?
Hii guys,I am using Gionee M2 and I thought of installing miui8 ROM on it,so I installed CTR recovery on it. But when I tried to install the ROM it stopped and restore is also stopping and showing can't mount system. Now I am not able to start my device.
Please tell me how should I change the recovery to twrp without a pc and without switching on the device??? Please tell me fast:crying:
