[THEME]Ultimate-Bule-tripin

Hi Guys,
Finally I am ready with first part of My first Theme, based on Crysis revolution.
But I have made additional changes also to make it more colourful.
I am calling it as Ultimate-Bule-tripin
This theme will only work on I9003 -XXKB3. Tested on deodexed rom, but should work with non-deodexed rom also(Not tested by me, confirmed by one user here)
Use it at your own risk, I am not responsible if you brick your phone.
This release is Part-I: The first part consists of changes to the Framework files only. I have also themed applications, which I will release as I fine tune them and consider worthy for release. So Dont get confused, if after flashing you do not have all that you see in screen shot.
Features of the part-I
1% Battery indicator
Fly In and Flip Mix (ApeX) Animations -To activate animations goto Menu>Settings>display>All animations
Blue Unlock screen
Transparent pull down bar
Colourful themed Menu
Transparent glowing background
Themed Status bar Music widget and Quick Widgets for GPS, Bluetooth, wifi etc.
Much more.....
Flash it to feel it.
You can use root explorer or adb to replace the two framework files in /system/framework/
If you want to use fonts, the fonts folder should be replaced in /system/fonts
The screen shots also contains tiny battery MOD which is a separate MOD with only difference in Battery indicator s not enclosed.

Ultimate-Blue-tripin-Vanilla unlock screen MOD
Requirements:
-XXKB3 FW
-Deodexed framework is mandatory
This version is with Vanilla unlock screen - Many users wanted to have Vanilla unlock screen. This is in update zip format to be used with the Modded stock (3e) recovery by skin, so that you can flash it easily. Download it and place it on root of your SDCARD (do not put it inside any folder). rename it as update.zip. Now switch off your phone and simultaneously press Vol. up+Home and power on button, till you see the first screen and leave the keys, wait till recovery screen appears. Now select the update zip option and wait the phone to reboot. You are done.
If you do not have this recovery you can also use root explorer or equivalent to replace those files.
Please do this at your own risk

I am a noob here, can you please explain what is framework file? I have downloaded some other themes also and seen some files named framework, settings, twlauncher etc. So what are these actually?

Thats what I did.
Root Explorer - click on Mount - Copy - Paste - Overwrite - Yes
Then there was an error message that there was no space on memory.

Delete useless applications from phone memory if you do not have enough internal memory but its rare, bcoz the files need hardly 10mb space.

In my /system/framework, there is no "framework-res.apk" file. There is "framework-tests.jar", "framework-tests.odex", "framework.jar" and "framework.odex". I have "twframework-res.apk" and "twframework.jar".
What should I do. Do I backup these files first? If something happens, any way of copying these back to the memory from PC?

This is like a live organism without vital organ. phone can not run without this file. You have to have this file. Paste it any ways, but check properly you area in system/framework folder. Us, its a good idea to back up before that. But what will you back up if u do not have that file?

It has a blue colored 5 signal bar and blue ICS Battery percentage. Flash in Recovery. Remember to backup your phone before any Recovery installation (not just this one) in case things aren't to your liking or mess with some settings.

ive downloaded it twice. wont install. says failed in red.. lol TWRP 2.1.8

I re-uploaded the flashable zip file.
Try it again:

If it still doesn't install through recovery: (Connect phone to PC in CHARGE MODE only)
1- Extract the SystemUI.apk file and save it in a folder.
2- Use ADB to push SystemUI.apk (extracted in step 1) to the app folder in phone
adb push SystemUI.apk /system/app/
3- Once it's pushed. Do an ADB reboot of the phone
adb reboot
4- Enjoy
Make sure that HTCSync is closed in the computer's system tray.
Also, if ADB fails at pushing the SystemUI.apk into the phone, use the remount command
adb remount
then continue from step 2.

I just flashed it using the latest twrp recovery and it worked!! Thanks for this modification. I like the look. Here is a screenshot.

Well the icons from the link in the op only have them for 4g LTE and 3g so I'm guessing they replaced the HSPA+ icons with the 4G LTE icons to make them all look the same instead of having the plain white icons for HSPA+ and the colored icons for LTE and 3g.

Iam pretty sure you can make correct ones

how do you edit APK files? I'd be willing to try and edit the correct icons, but not sure how to pull the images out.

Any Chance w can get just the 4GLte logo? I kinda like the white signal bars.

Someone could use an image editor to.cut out the 4g icon so we could have 3g, 4g, and 4g lte. Just an idea.

OGBatteryMod for JB leak

thanks to OsamaGhareeb. i am just using his tools and made this battery mod for Atrix 2.
Note, this flashable.zip is just use for JB leak, please do not try it for others roms.
How to flash?
1. Download the flashable.zip from here.
2. Copy it to your SDcard;
3. Reboot to the third-party recovery mode;
4. Choose what you want and flash it;
5. Enjoy...!
Usage:
Download OGBatteryMod and extract files
Run OGBatteryMod.exe and follow instructions
After reboot your device choose your style :
Settings >> Display >> Battery Style >> Choose your style
Or Click the battery icon (on StatusBar) 3 times to open OGBatteryMod Settings

I think he is talking about the jb leak. Do not flash on any other ROM especially the source built ones like pa, cm or pac.

Sorry dude, I posted the question in a wrong post. I wanted to know the Moto Razr M 3d Widgets. As when I tried to Install, the device freezes at the boot splash screen. Can U help me with that.

Get back the AOSP Status Bar

I just started with this idea of getting back that AOSP clean look that Moto took off with those ugly big "3G", "H+" icons and weird unused spaces in the status bar, in addition to carrier name, so here goes what i had done so far.. still work in progress.
First of all, I'm no developer, no graphic designer, nothing related, just a Android fan, plus RAZRi fan, so I'm no responsible for anything that could happen to your phone.
It is just an "SystemUI.apk" mod (.xml and .png edits), the changes are:
Removed Carrier name (via xml)
Date, Carrier in notification pulldown set to ALL CAPS
Corrected Signal bar icon and battery for no pixelation.
Reverted WiFi, Signal, Data, most icons to AOSP
Bigger clock for better legibility
Compatibility
JELLY BEAN, DEODEXED or ODEXED STOCK ROM
Built based on EU rom, but should be compatible with all other Jelly Bean (BACKUP AFTER TRYING)

Overall it looks pretty "AOSP" for me. You should note that it displays "H" instead of "H+" because of ".xml" limitations.
TO-DO (Any help very appreciated)
Disable Transparency (just misses the point of software buttons and AMOLED screens)
AOSP Lockscreen (Hard, big framework modifications needed)
Get rid of all motorola modifications

I'm sorry for not providing a flashable .zip, i tried compiling one but apparently x86 clockworkmod recovery rejects it (If anyone can help in this matter, please do)
BACKUP STOCK SystemUI.apk BEFORE CONTINUING, if anything goes wrong you will end without status bar nor navigation bar.
Be sure to be rooted
Rename the downloaded file to just "SystemUI.apk"
Copy "SystemUI.apk" to sdcard
Using a root manager, copy the file to /system/app/
Set permissions for "SystemUI.apk" to -rw-r--r-- (755)
Reboot needed
OR via ADB
Need root and insecure adb
adb remount
adb push <file> /system/app/SystemUI.apk (where <file> is the location of modded "SystemUI.apk")
adb shell
chmod 755 /system/app/SystemUI.apk
reboot

WiFi icon is intended to be slightly over the signal bars, as stock android (check this Nexus screenshot http://www.pocketpc.ch/attachments/...laxy-nexus-screenshot_2011-12-02-07-20-50.jpg )

First you have to decompile it, inside there are are the "resources" whose (beside main code) are files and images that determines the way everything is displayed on screen. search the forum on tutorials and info and get started, its fun!

Works great thanks. The moto status bar was really bugging me!
Is there any way to combine this with the oggbatterymod posted elsewhere in this forum? When I reapply that mod the operator logo and ugly signal logos reappear. Thanks

Hi,
This is still working great but I still get a horrible motorola signal symbol when I have no signal on my network but still have sufficient signal on other networks to make an emergency call.
It is a red triangle with a white Cross inside. Would be great if you could replace that too. Thanks

Full Transparent status Bar

fixed it, just get signal_cluster.xml in res/layout from another systemui like shaftenberg's

[MOD][XT1053,XT1058][TMO,ATT][4.4][4.4.2] AOSP Signal Icons

This mod kills the ugly extra space next to the network signal bars that display network type, i.e. E, "4G", and 4G LTE. The mod changes a few bools.xml values and enables the stock icons.
Zips marked "EHLTE" show indicators for E, H, and LTE instead of E, 3G, and 4G (my preference, the one in the screenshots). Unless another version number is specified in the title, all mods are for stock 4.4 ROMs.
UPDATE 1/2/14: Thanks to @hartom, I made a mod specifically for AT&T phones (XT1058). I only did the "EHLTE" version for now, if I get enough requests I can make the other one too.
UPDATE 2/13/14: New mod up for XT1053s running the latest 4.4.2 update!
MANUAL INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Download your choice of mod from bottom of post, unzip and find SystemUI.apk
2) BACK UP your phone's original SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex from system/priv-app
3) Delete the SystemUI.odex that you just backed up
4) Copy the new SystemUI.apk to system/priv-app, overwriting the old one
5) Set permissions on the new file to rw- r-- r--
6) Reboot
Before installing, MAKE SURE TO BACK UP, if not your whole ROM, then at least your original SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex from system/priv-app. If your status and navigation bars disappear, make sure the permissions of the new SystemUI.apk are correctly set to rw-r-r.

I flashed through SS on stock rooted ATT and my signal strength is blue, not a big deal since Gravity Box can change it.

Is the only difference between the two zips in the op is whether it shows "4g" or "LTE"?

One other quick question. You and chaoslimits have inspired me to download apktool and start looking at this stuff myself. Does systemui.apk have to be deodexed before it can be edited? Or can I just pull systemui.apk from my /system/priv-app/ folder and get to work?

That's great, I'm glad we have! It's very rewarding. I've always deodexed first, so can't say for sure, but I think you'd be ok just editing the sysui file as-is and leaving it odexed

Well if only the bars are blue, I'm pretty sure it's not GB because that mod affects all the icons on the status bar. There is actually a line in the bools file, <bool name="config_enable_carrier_wide_icons_are_blue">false</bool>, that was set by default to false on my phone but may somehow be opposite on yours. Or maybe your systemui uses blue icons by default instead of white ones. I know on VZW phones they defaulted to gray. There's also the fact that you have an AT&T model phone, but I'm not sure how much that factors in. I'm pretty new to this, so can't say for sure sorry.

first of all i have a moto x xt1053 with telcel mexico but i have the tmobile version so i guess will work right?
second question i need download both files or if i want to do it in customer recovery i justa need download the one that doesn't says aosp?

Either file should work for your phone if you flash in a custom recovery such as CWM or TWRP. You can use whichever one you want, depending on what letters/symbols you want to be displayed. One will show you '3G' and '4G', the other 'H' and 'LTE' ones.

how did you correct the spacing on the wifi icon? ive been working on this same mod for the vzw motos and thats the pasrt i cant fix

There were never any problems with spacing for me. Chaoslimits already has made this same mod for vzw phones, his thread is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2561560

I can't get this to work on att 4.4. The status bar disappears. Deleted the odex and have perms rw-r--r-- on systemui.apk. I tried both files same thing.

Well you are using the AT&T Moto X, which I've never tested this mod on. If you PM me your SystemUI apk, odex, and framework-res.apk, I can take a look and do a mod for your phone
And possibly, just rebooting and/or clearing cache in recovery could help

I should point out that I'm rooted using Ctrl-Freaks method
