Is anyone else having this problem? I haven't added any apps or changed anything on my device. But after the upgrade it seems like my battery drains about twice as fast and without running anything demanding, the battery feels hot. Suggestions?

Have you checked to see what's running, need more details before suggesting. Mines doing fine so it has to be something you are running in the background. This is a shot of my better right now....

Screen time seems to be the most drain like usual. But I don't see anything else running in the background. Its weird because like I said, I haven't changed anything since before the update.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but the info i have found so far has been unsatisfactory. in the power usage app there is an entry "android os" which doesnt detail what it is...it uses quite a bit of my battery and I'd like to know what it is and how to fix it
Is it the same one that says android system in this screen shot? If you click on it it tells you what is included there.

its normal, its the ui.
Is there any way to do this? I go to the setting where it normally would be under wireless and networks/mobile networks but I dont see an option to go 3g only to conserve battery life. Anyone know of a workaround?

Have you tried actually using it. In the att s3 it does the dame as similar programs. It runs but changing the pull down doesn't work

It works for me. I am rooted but su didn't ask for permission to run so I think you can run it stock.

Yes also on a side note, we can do simultaneous voice and data while on 3g

I'm running the below. I know it's still Alfa thus issues will arise, but ever since the new update on 8/17 people are reporting all is good. I'm still having issues with my phone not responding to any input and having to pull the battery up to 10 times a day. Any ideas? Thanks.

I put alpha 2 on today and its worked like a charm. You may want to go back to 2. It cant hurt.

I flashed the latest pacman ROM. Everything works beautifully except for the Wi-Fi. Any tips on how to fix this? I am currently using the UCMC1 radio.

It will turn on, it will connect but will act like it's not connected. You can see the Wi-Fi indicator with the up and down arrows but, when I try and go online, I get error messages like there's no data connection.

If that's a hotspot, it should ask you to login after connecting. You may have to manually type in the web address in the browser to connect.

I was prompted for a Facebook update a few days ago. Updated and the UI is Holo style. I'm not a beta or dev tester so I just assumed this was how it was for everyone now. However, upon downloading it on a new phone for a friend, I realized this is not the case. Any ideas what's going on here? I've attached a screenshot of the app.
