can't use camera on sense jb

after flash sense jb rom like revelation or viper s,i can use camera,but just for a short time.when i reboot my phone or use tool which needs root like LBE Privacy Guard,camera can't start.i have flashed hboot 1.27and 1.29 ,but no use.And the camera really troubles me a lot.
by the way,i can use camera in ics rom and other jb rom like cm

I have the same problem. You have a nandroid backup of previous Rom like vipers? Can you upload it?

Did you do a full wipe(except sdcard) before coming to jb?

Take out the camera.apk from the rom.zip . And push the app in the system using adb and set permissions to rw-r-r ..
See if it helps ..

i did it by using root explore,and then reboot in recovery and wipe cache+dalvik,sometimes it is useful but just for a short time,when i install some app or reboot,camera dosen't work again

i saw your post in revelation thread,and this is my build.prop, libSebastianFM_audio.so, libSebastianFM_camera.so,Setting.apk and screenshot.And because of the permission to post to development-related forums which needs more than 10 post,could you send it to ivicask?

Advice on a fast and reliable Rom for Xperia J?

Guys I'm still on stock rom, it's only rooted but stock recovery and locked bootloader and I'm sick of it.
Now I want to unlock the bootloader, install a custom recovery and flash a good rom.
I tried to collect infos but it's hard on a forum with 4 devices.
Would you please point me where it's explained how to unlock bootloader and to the adviced rom?
What would you suggest, a "stock" 4.1.2 one or a cm11? Are the latter reliable?

go to this link and unlock the BL :- unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com and use flashtool...
use Alienrom for great battery life and performance or seraphic rom for the latest ui
unfortunately cm11 camera wont work + cant play any videos,

From here you have "Q3: How do I unlock the bootloader?" you have link at the end its preti goooood explined,
and you have "Q5: What is the best ROM or kernel?" (it is against the rules) you'll have to try it on your own

Ok, thanks. Another thing not clear to me is if exists a permanent recovery for jb and .31 firmware. I've only found a temporary one...

If i was you i prefer use stock rom (4.1.2)
You can flash vengance kernel and get some OC :laugh:
And there is a lot mod for the stock rom, like the lockscreen, status bar, etc

Seraphic Rom Its The BEST rom for locked/unlocked bootloader its very smooth, fast, and looks like honami framework with new themes. The alienrom v6 its very good too or doomsday rom

HELP Lollipop STOCK DEODEXED ROM for SM-P905

Could someone who knows how to create a rom and have a linux pc, built a LOLLIPOP STOCK deodexed rom without any changes??? i can't do it because i can't find any kitchen that supports windows 10, please i need it to upgrade to lollipop to be able to use xposed. thanks a lot

As far as I know Xposed does not currently work with Samsung Lollipop, due to some encrypted files hard to decipher.

Yes that is why the OP is asking for a stock deodexed ROM. There is a way to get xposed working on deodexed touchwiz ROMs now.

ok I will make a rom for you but it will take few days because I just removed the hard disk which have Ubuntu and replaced it with a new one
so I need to setup everything again before I can make a rom
FYI
my laptop has 2 hard drives. so, I dual boot windows and xubuntu on it
each OS on different drive
I use archikitchen (which works only on Linux OS) to convert the official rom to a flashable zip file
then use joeldroid program to deodex the rom in the flashable zip file
there is another program for Linux to deodex but I did not use it yet
there is a guide on how to use them in the links I provided earlier
however if you thinks it is a bit hard let me know
I will see if I can post a video showing how to use them
will reply as soon as I finish the rom

I tried again, but it still doesn't work.

If you are checking with aroma file manager then it won't show anything in system folder
This happens for me too on my note edge but when i boot it works and everything is there
Did you try to boot?
If yes
Did you get bootloop or stuck at boot logo?
If either
Did you try to wipe cache and dalvik and data?

I wiped cache and davik cache.
After boot it stucked at boot logo. I waited around 40 minutes - nothing.

Just go to settings/apps /select all permissions for play services.....done!!! no force close.

its pretty good mostly same as cm13 by xenius9 but has a little skin to it gives a good battery life,only one problem i notice is when i use lte sim the notification signal drops and keeps up but there is no problem in phone reception problem its just the notification icon i think ,the problem is also there in xenius9 cm13 latest built.so try it

root it and get twrp make a backup of the stock flash a custom rom( I recommend slim 6 )
download gapps
btw this will most likely trip knox

Trimming the storage could help, but check your emmc first if it has the brickbug. If the bug is present, don't try to trim it as it will break your tab. Trim requires root on your rom because android supports trim natively on 4.3+ and our rom is on 4.1.2

You could unroot the tab afterwards... Also you dont have to install a new rom just for roof access

TWRP shouldn't affect your device's performance. Maybe Placebo...
And if you're up for the task, by all means install a custom rom. It contains the latest optimizations and security patches for android so it should be faster than the stock rom. Although there are some bugs on 6.0, they're minor http://andi34.github.io/known_bugs_tab2_6.0.html

But there's no KNOX still

I installed cwm recovery.
If i try to instal cm it says error.
It says too on slim LineageOS roms.
Omni rom work. Its fast. But if started give clock and browser stopped errors.
I dont know what i most be do..
