hey guys the camera in those roms is low compared to venom or revelation roms in the following points
1-flash is very low
2- burst is alot laggy
3-sometimes it force close when switching between video & camera mod
4-gallery has no video playback
so is there any way to have revelation camera in 4.3.1 roms
i tried some camera mod but it wasnt good

do it have differnce between Sense rom camera and CM9 Camera? (for example: quality)
On OpenSensation you have the option of using the sense resolution. There may be some "quality tweaks" on the sense camera, but from my experience the CM9 camera works great.
When you go into camera on OpenSensation you have the option of 8MP 16:9 or a couple others. the only real difference is there are more tweaks on Sense and the interface for the CM9 camera is more space consuming.
sorry for realive this, but this is the only reason i keep sense on my phone, to laggy. is there another difference? for example with cmx aokp touchcream?

I've tried many roms but im always coming back to CM9 because I find it fastest and stabliest. But I'm really unhappy with CM9 camera.
So:
-Is it possible to make CM9 camera interface in 16:9 proportions?
-Is it possible to make CM9 camera record 1080p videos with working autofocus?

stock camera is very good quality & working burst mode but it doesnt have force recording to 40 MB or sound recorder to 320 like in venom
but i use an app dont know where i found the source from jb 4.3.1 to use the photo sphere from it because it's cool feature
P.S : the 4.3.1 camera install doesnt override the original camera or gallery
Hey guys, i have my infuse on Cyanfox 4.4.2 and everything works fine except the camera cause its laggy and the gallery isn playing the videos at the normal recording speed (very laggy). ive been searching and want to know if i can flash or download a camera and gallery stock app from gb 2.3.6 or earlier or factory cause Cyanogen camera and gallery is not as good and it doest have all the features of the stock camera. Id really aprecciate your help.
The issue I'm talking about is not about the quality of images or video graphics that the camera can capture or record>
the issue is with the quality of the sound in video recording in non touchwiz roms like CN or other custom roms installed on samsung (mine is S3) , the sound in those roms is sucks in comparison with sound recorded by camera video in touchwiz based roms.........
my question why? and how to fix if there is a fix? because usually the non touchwiz roms are faster the touchwiz based roms but the microphone in those roms works better. I think it is really important thing.
