I had something like that before, but when i restart my phone, suddenly dropped to 67%.
Sent from my C2105 using xda app-developers app
I face same issue sometimes.
My phone was at 100% for almost 5 hours and then it started decreasing normally. After sometime when battery was around 46%, I locked the phone and then when I unlocked it after 5 minutes, battery was 11%
I was both annoyed and amazed at same time.

Nop, didn't happen anything like that. It's still running, 45% left, 4 hours screentime, 4 hours of music. 4.2.2 is AWESOME! xD
My phone's battery level still hasn't dropped, it used to get zero after this much usage on 4.1.2
Got the same problem.
at 28% my xl turned off...
Yeah, mine turned off at 35%
Sent from my C2104 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
i didnt faced any prob.4.2.2 battery backup is great.i left my mob at 3% for 9 hours sleep and after waking my phone up in morning it got only 1% battery decrease
I also have same issue.. My phone was on 100% for 14 hours then it started decreasing and turned it off at 40%..

When Android OS bug strikes it kills with no mercy
Since i got SGS2 i kept my Captivate as backup alarm for many cycles discharge in couple of weeks recharge ect. no problem ,no apps running in background , phone in plane mode with Cognition rom i get great standby time. Can hold out for weeks, but then, one night, out of the blue BAM Android OS kills it in two hours flat lol
Lesson: don't rely on your phone for mission critical stuff

Yes this is odd. Hope it gets figured out

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that most likely the battery is either getting weak or isn't calibrated correctly. And just whatever is using that last little bit of energy, which, in your case, will always be the android os, is going to show using the largest percent of the battery.

Haha maybe it didnt register the battery changing at the beginning.
Is it the sudden battery drop?
What is it???

I have run into this multiple times but only when I listen to music. I can have it fully charged at 8:00 in the morning and then 9:00 its dropped almost 50 percent. I looked up how much battery the music player is using and its under 1%. I never had this issue with Froyo...LG should not of rushed out the GB update like that without figuring out bugs like that

I wouldnt exactly say LG "rushed" at getting us the gingerbread update.
It was the fact that my battery % didn't change for over 7 hours

Does anyone is experimenting terrible battery life with cm10 or it's just me ?
anyone know how to fix this?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
I had a horrible battery life for the first 2 days, talking dead battery in 6-7 hours with average use, couldn't really find a solid reason behind it.. so..
What ended up fixing it was a full wipe (system/cache/delvik) and reflashing CM10 again, after that I went back to what I call normal battery life - aka: charge the phone once a day over night and good for 12-14 hours.

CM10 gave me too many problems to keep it around.
The one I used to use is the one here:

Why is my battery dropping like 5% when I reboot it? The second time I rebooted it it didn't do that.

I've noticed that on all my phones. Gets worse if you reboot with less charge. The way I think it was explained to me was; the phone uses more battery to boot and at lower charges it has to take more from the battery to boot. Why it happens sporadically like that I have no idea.

This is correct. It's like starting your car, more energy is needed to get it running than it is to maintain. When you reboot your phone, it has to do a whole bunch of thing such as start apps, find and connect to signal, mount sd, start launcher, etc etc... This is very battery intensive.

Has everybody experienced that after a full battery charging, when you unplug the charger, the battery goes immediately from 100% to 99%?

My Z3 does the same thing, I found out that if i leave if plugged in an extra 5-10 minutes it would drain 100-99% after a few minutes. I'm pretty sure its a common thing as I read other users asking this same question.
I don't seem to have this issue. I use the charging dock and if I take it off the dock and not use it, I'm still at 100% 4-5 hours later.
Sent from my Z3
Don't worry ,it's normal.
It's designed when you are at 100%, the phone starts to use the battery for a percent or two, then charges it back to 100%.
