I've had my N5 for 4 days now. There is a clear outline (still) of where the back clear protector and imei sticker were. Is this normal? Cos it looks bloody ugly.

I tried an iso alcohol swab, but that didn't do anything, then I tried Purell next and that worked great. Maybe the moisturizer or the aloe in the Purell helped? I'm not sure.

Try rubbing some goo gone on it, that stuff works wonders for adhesive residue.

I use this stuff all the time for removing adhesive gunk and it does, in fact, work great on almost everything. Just be careful, I don't know if it might affect the soft touch coating.

I don't use zagg, but I did leave the protector on that I'd been using. If you have a hard time interacting with the screen, then you may want to remove it.
Cranky...
The screen touching works but im getting a lot of bubbles. Is this because of my current screen protector.

Probably. Looks like there's moisture in between the two. Take it apart and clean the two. But make sure that they're both dry before putting it back together.

Find what on their own? If you're talking about the Ballistic case, sure they can. But they could also find every other accessory on they're own.
You can use an anti-glare screen protector, which they do make for the infuse, and it should remedy the watermark/bubble issues.

Damn dude, I don't know what I'd do if that happened to me! Well, I doubt it would, I have a Trident Aegis Case on mine.
My G2x fell about 3 feet onto tile yesterday and the glass is cracked something terrible. Will post a picture when I get back from vacation.
Hopefully I can get a similar repair deal from LG.
mine didn't quite look as bad as that pic, but was pretty bad. It still worked just fine, I could feel the cracks in it when moving my finger over the glass. Just call LG, they quoted a price between $40-$100, gave me a confirmation number. I mailed it in, then got an email with the total amount due for a repair. Called and paid over the phone, got my phone back about 5 days later...pretty easy..
Definately wasn't happy when it happened, actually felt sick to my stomach

Doubt the 3rd generation glass will offer any major shatter-proof features over the original GG. New technology does not balance out user error.

As fantastic as Samsung phones are, this thing isn't winning any beauty contests. Outside of the screen, it's plastic. EVERYWHERE. There are some pretty slim cases out there, just take a stroll through the "accessories" sub-forum.
Your options are:
1. Case
2. Insurance (ripoff)
3. Spending your weekends/afternoons on iFixit taking untold years off of your life installing what you hope to be a working screen from what you hope was a legit parts retailer
4. Getting extremely friendly with the customer service reps (read: hand jobs)
5. None of the above, just post on XDA each time you break your phone so you magically get a new one (works surprisingly well)

Glass is glass. Doesn't matter if it has gorilla or elephant or bear stamped before it. If you drop it hard enough, it will break. So either get a case, try to be less clumsy, or live with the risk of it breaking.

I've got a scratch on mine as well, that's a bit worse than that. I've got no idea how it got on there.
I haven't used mine since it got scratched. I tried to buff it out with toothpaste but it only helped a little bit.
I need to try some other things, although it might just be too deep.
Screen protectors on a smartwatch are much more essential than on a smartphone, as it's really likely to scratch, even more than a normal watch glass.
