Forgive me for my stupidity, but I've flashed Cyanogenmod onto all my devices in the past. I was able to modify what shortcuts I wanted on the quick settings panel when I swiped down on my screen. I can't seen to figure out how to modify this on the Nexus 5 with the stock rom. If anyone could answer this question, it'd be gladly appreciated.

You can't. You'll need to wait for CM11 or another custom ROM.
Xposed!
Is your phone rooted? If so, then use Xposed and the Gravitybox module to customize you QS.
Get Xposed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
There is an app called Power Toggles.

did you S-off your device... or did you temp-root it ???
you have to be S-off anyway to be able to install a custom Recovery to then, be able to install any zip file from it..
And it's the theme and apps section , you should of post your thread or " ask your question in the general section or FAQ topic..

You can do that, only if your stock ROM is deodexed.

If you're running a deodexed rom, just download the extended quick setting from the insertcoin rom thread and flash it through cwm recovery then restart your phone.

A bit more information might be useful if you want to be helped. What rom/kernel. Rooted or not etc etc.

Sorry for that i just rooted it im using the latest codname rom and latest air kernel
The time on status bar is stuck l.it stays the same.
I hope you get it
My suggestion, find out whether it's the ROM or or the kernel. So flash one, use it for a while and see. If you find that it's one of them, go to the thread and report it there.

Ok ill that thanks anyway
It happened to me once after flashing new ROM.
Go to settings and set up time and date manually, it worked for me.

so can you help me guys?? i wish to find a ROM to my phone
It's really hard to find ROMs for Chinese phones
Have you rooted your phone before trying xposed?? What do you mean by "xposed installer doesn't work too '?? Does it give you an error or something?
Flash your phone back to the stock firmware, root it, then install xposed framework.

yeah i've rooted my phone before using xposed but when i use the tweak box and reboot my phone the status bar starts to shows strange marks and many other ugly things i think its because the xposed is not compatible with my phone
I had a look through google for a rom for your device but I had no luck. Sorry about that. As already mentioned, it is quite hard to find a rom for a chinese phone/tablet. The more common brands like Samsung and HTC etc. have more support because more people have them. Nice spec on that btw. You could be the first to make a rom for that!
Hmm.. What Xposed module are you using??
Have you tried different modules?
If nothing on Xposed working then you have 3 choices
Get a new phone.
Or give up on Transparent status bar
Or just learn to mod your systemui apk to make the status bar transparent
