Have some hope, many people who bought when it said 4-5 weeks have had their order shipped already. I'm not saying it's going to happen, just a possibility.

That would be great, I'm never that lucky, I'm enjoying the nexus 5 port for now.

I'm hoping they up the storage so 16gb would be 349$ + 32gb would be 399$..?
Can't wait for another Nexus! Let the games begin...
Need a b-day gift soon for the in-law. But doubtful Nexus 5 will be available. Even though not for me, it would've been interesting to get one. Oh well.

Nobody in here would truly know that and be able to hold it in. You might as well type in google nexus 5 release date for that info IMHO
It can also be October 14

I'm not as excited about the next Nexus, I liked it more when Samsung was making them, the Nexus 4 had a camera which shames this high-end device.
I imagine it will be released to around the same time as Kit Kat?.? If
if is in the same price bracket of the Nexus 4 then I may have to sell
my S4 and look into getting this.
I would like to see Motorola build a Nexus... Mostly for battery life...

WiFi tethering

So just got this bad boy and activated with spring, was wondering if the WiFi tether works out of the box... If not I hope a work around comes soon.

Short lived life for my nexus 5

I have had a bad experience with T-Mobile witch is causing me to sell my nexus 5 . since I have a grand father plan unlimited data T-Mobile said they don't support my nexus 5 until I change my plan to a new one with throttles. As much as I love her its up for sale. 32gb nexus 5 . just thought I'll share ..why is T-Mobile doing this !!!
Sent from my LG-G2 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
FYI, I read a while ago that tmo plans to move every one off of those plans and "bring them into current pricing." Might be worth keeping the phone and just changing to a current plan. You can still get unlimited w/no throttling. I have unlimited every thing for $70 w/ no contract and I don't think anything is throttled. You would have to do it at some point, might as well look at what will work for you. Good luck!

T-Mobile still has unlimited data without throttling, why not go with that?

What do you mean they don't support it? Please explain?

This. i dont understand what you mean by unsupported.
my nexus 5 works quite fine on tmobile.
How much are you selling it for?:silly:
How would T-Mobile even know what phone you are using? I mean obviously it will show on the network but I highly doubt they are flagging nexus 5 phones and making sure only some people are using them.

There aren't even any phones out now or upcoming that excite me as much as the maxx... And it came out last August...
Though once the stock Moto X features get odexed into CyanogenMod I would very seriously consider flashing it on my droid maxx to get rid of all of the Verizon bloat... I had most of it frozen with titanium backup but still apps like Amazon still run in the background... And I learned a long time ago not to uninstall odexed apps
And I like how close to stock cm11 is with supersu and theming integrated with the ROM
Never going back to a smaller battery'd smartphone.

Well I got it last Saturday and it was already updated to 4.4 so I can get rid of the bloat if I wanted too.

Not on TMobile, but they don't fake their numbers..must be a Sprint thing.../snort. Very odd.
This is the first time it's done it. So funny.

Never happened on any of the six N5 I used (EU model, D821), nor on my 2012 N7 3G.
I haven't seen this issue on N5.
It happened to me once when I had Galaxy Nexus.
I think it depends on the server where you are downloading from.
In this particular case it seems to be google play.
Are you using any apps to get to the market? I know people from outside of US are using them.
