I just want to mention that the app needs root rights to work with messages of WhatsApp.
But nonroot users still can use the app for sms.
Accessibility service
Some users of Samsung devices already know it.
Samsung created a bug which lets your phone talk.
(Here you can read about.)
All in all it will not be a problem, my app will tell you how to fix the bug.

Hey folks,
today i want to show my app.
The app is called Seebye Chat Heads.
It's an app in the beta state.
And the app needs root rights.
So there could be some bugs.
With the app you're able to use the chat heads functions of Facebook in WhatsApp.

looks nice.
but, how to change icon size?

@acoongg
Go to the side menu.
There's a point in the list called icon size.
Now use two fingers to zoom, just like you zoom in and out in the gallery.
@Pos411
Thank you.
FB Messenger already supports chat heads, doesn't it?
But i thinked about integrating sms support.
So i will think about integrating more messenger.
But i haven't decided it yet.

I like your app, just hate it that i can't disable the notification, and that the order of whatsapp contact is just how i don't want them... never used on top....

I was actually just coming here to say this.. If you're interested you can add in an extension to your app, so you can take advantage of FN's chatheads and integrate the Whatsapp functionality.
PM if you're interested, you can also find the library here: https://code.google.com/p/fn-extensions-library/
Regardless though, great job. I looked into this myself and there was definitely no simple way to do it so kudos to you

Great APP, needs to get way more popular!
However, I have one problem: if i am typing, my keybord is above the typing area, so i can not see what i am typing.. Is that a common issue?

ICS SMS Popup is a simple app that will easily allow you to view and reply to incoming text messages from a pop up dialog. Now you can read and even reply to incoming text messages with out ever having to leave your current activity! Find it annoying to leave in the middle of a task just to view a new message? Try out ICS SMS Popup to solve that problem with a simple solution!
★ Android 4.0 style
★ 5 colored themes (ICS-Blue, Red, Orange, Green, Purple) - More coming soon!
★ Read all incoming SMS messages instantly
★ Slide to unlock animation
★ Instantly reply to messages without leaving a task
★ Auto-receive enabled
★ Inbox quick-launch
★ Custom notifications
★ Task-killer safe
★ Low RAM footprint
★ 0% battery drain
*Tips and help*
★ Why do we need a permission to read your messages? That's simple - so you can view them in the popup. Without it you could not view your messages.
★ Do we collect IQ and read messages? NO. We do not collect data or any other IQ like many other keyboard or popup apps who will steal your information for profit.
★ Avast reporting as malware!?! No, its not malware. It is the AdNetwork SDK which has been certified by Verisign and fully approved by Google. Avast and a few other outdated scanners will mark this as a potential risk because of the required permissions. Don't be fooled, use a legitimate antivirus app like Lookout Security or AVG. See below for more info.
★ Why such extreme permissions? Well, they are required in order for you to read, view, and reply to your messages in the app. We can not view or see any messages you send or receive. We do not support IQ like many other apps, so you are completely safe!
**Other Info**
ICS SMS Popup is the original SMS popup dialog themed to Android 4.0. We have many other flavors available to satisfy all tastes. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a solution.
This app provides a few useful shortcuts on your device in the form of a search bookmark link and home screen icon. This gives us a few cents each time the app is downloaded and will help us out a lot in developing more apps. If you do not want to use these new tools, you can simply ignore or delete them by dragging the icon to the trashcan and no harm is done (our app remains the same, no need to uninstall it). There is an ad-free pro version on the Play Store if you would like to support development! Thank you!

Glad you like it! Customization is our main focus, we have an iphone style coming out soon too but the current versions are just to give ppl options while we add features and work out any bugs. Once the beta is complete it will be converted to one main app with downloadable themes and a template for 3rd party devs. Then it will be added to the widget chooser in Omega Launcher

Trying this now. SMS popup was disabling my lock screen on CM Apocalypse. This seems to be working better!
Thanks!
This looks good, but could you make an option to keep the incoming message visible while doing a quick reply? I like to be able to refer to longer or more complicated messages while typing my response.

Glad you like it! This was an early build so it is geared more towards speed and stability than features at the moment but there will be a new customizable version out soon with basically every option you can think of so stay tuned We are just putting the finishing touches on our new themeable status bar app so the SMS popup is next in line.

That is a great idea and will definitely be looked into for the new version. Our team communicates primarily through 5+ message long texts so this feature would be useful for us too lol. Thanks for the suggestion, let us know if you think of anything else and they will be added to the wish list
One of the reviews for your app states it adds shortcuts to the desktop, Google don't allow this.

We are well aware of the new developer policy and our ad networks are fully compliant with the changes. Rather than being opt-out like it was before there will now be a popup after installing that will allow users to either opt-in and receive the shortcuts or continue using the app without them. We literally spend hundreds of hours developing each app so we would really appreciate it if you wouldn't mind spending the 2 seconds it takes to remove the icon if you don't want to use them, but if you don't find them to be useful I understand. They are currently our main source of revenue though so if users don't like these kinds of ads then hopefully they will speak with their wallets and purchase the ad-free pro version to help support our full-time development efforts. The new opt-in setting will be integrated in our apps over the next month before the new policy goes into effect and should eliminate any concerns over this issue. Thanks

Hi guys,
my name is Daniele and i'm the developer of PureContact.
I want to talk about my app.
With PureContact you can contact your friends through the use of gestures (swipe up, swipe down, swipe left, swipe right) or through double tap.
Through these simple actions you can recall the whatsapp conversation with the selected contact, send text, write an email or call.
Just long press on blank screen and add your favourite contact. Then you can choose the default photo contact or select one in your gallery.
Pick up one numbers and one email (if the contact have more than one) and just press save.
Go to the settings menu and choose the actions for the swipe.
Now you can use gestures to send text, whatsapp, email or call.
The app was released last night. I already have in mind a few features to be included in the next updates (such as the ability to write messages via facebook or twitter, add themes and other options), but in the meantime I would like to arrive at a stable version and a zero bug (I hope there aren't, but as all the early beta versions of any application I'm afraid that something will come out).
PureContact is free and is available on the Google Play Store.
If you have questions, found bugs, suggestions or requests, just ask
Thank you for your help and support.
Daniele
Installed it. I like the look of the app. Will try out and give feedback.

I'm wondering, all my contacts are on Google's servers. Does this app support downloading / editing / updating these contacts? Furthermore this looks like a brilliant alternative to the boring stock people app.
~ djpbx
Awesome!!!
I like your idea about how to interact with the icon, very clever!
just only one issue from me;
the (circle)border of people icons seems not smooth right now, the thumb(contact image) inside the circle is not smooth also.
Another thing, I suggested that the size for the contact icon might be bigger.
It looks stunning, I must say!
I'll be closely following development

Very nice concept, good work. Any way you could possibly squeeze in another row to have a dozen contacts?
Nice UI. Downloading. Great Work
Nice App but what it needs:
- Automatically add favorite contacts to the screen
- Make Icons moveable. Choose apps for "left", "right", "top" and "bottom" and than just move the contact to one of the sides
- Add dialer
- Add Call list
download link isnt working. can you upload it again?
Doesn't load the contact list.galaxy tab 2.
Sorry for my previous post.It works but not so impressive in 7" tablet.

This app is really awesome .. but I want to know why is the whatsapp shortcut not working with any of my contacts ?
and if you could improve on the starting time of the app that would be great for the main purpose of the app..
Looks like a promising start!
Two things would be great to add:
(1) an option to add all contacts instead of adding each manually 1-by-1 (of I missed the function to add all at once)
(2) more messenger options (e.g. Line, Skype etc.)
very very nice ui

In test now...
Thx!
B:silly:
Very nice!
Suggestion!
Make the contact pictures larger and/or with square/rectangular frames (maybe an option to choose too). There is just too much white space between the contacts.
Lags?
the stock contacts application is seems quite laggy. Sometimes I have to wait close to a minute when I want to make a call. very frustrating when I have to do that in front of someone also carrying a smartphone. Takes the charm away.
My Question: Does this solve the problem of laggyness usually seen on ICS/JB phones? I currently have the Munjeni JB ROM for Xperia Sola.
Thanks in advance.
Overall awesome, lacks a widget. Hope you'll make it in a new version.

No like the messages app notification will still be there when I've already read it.
Nice work. Already got the pro key and been using it since first day. Initial feedback:
Interactions while on homescreen is a must.
Gmail needs read/archive/delete, hell, maybe even reply within the pop up
Same for whatsapp messages
Same for hangouts messages
Actually same for all apps where interactions are possible (mark as read, archive, delete, reply, save,...)
Better icon for Status Bar ?
Anyway it's a nice start and I was more than happy to pay. Keep coding man ?

Nice work. Already got the pro key and been using it since first day. Initial feedback:
Interactions while on homescreen is a must.
Gmail needs read/archive/delete, hell, maybe even reply within the pop up
Same for whatsapp messages
Same for hangouts messages

Hey everyone! I just created a new App, for now am limiting the App's release (Alpha 1) to the good old XDA folks.
It's a Chat Helper for WhatsApp.
The App embeds and shows a WhatsApp widget and displays it whenever you are on a chat with someone, the widget shows the count of unread messages you have and of course it keeps updating live. Clicking the widget will quickly display a screen full of unread messages for you peak through, from this screen you could quickly jump to any of your chat contacts/groups or hit the X to go back to your chat. If you switch to a new chat, you could go back to your previous chat by just hitting the back button. And all this will hopefully make you a better multitasker when it comes to chatting.

The App is tagged with an Alpha 1 version badge, I hope to upgrade that with your feedback coming through various devices. Also, I would like to emphasize that the App does NOT modify WhatsApp in anyway, just enjoy the enhanced experience with no worries of being banned.
Few Tips/Instructions for the App:
The App needs a 2 step setup (3 if you are on Android Marshmallow), which you need to do only once and never have to visit the Settings again.
When the App prompts to provide permission to create widgets, please go for "Alway allow...", this will let the App automatically get the widgets ready and display at right time, right place.
If the unread count badge obstructs any of your view elements (may be when keyboard is on,) you can drag the badge vertically to a new place (but restricted to right side of the screen for now.)
If you open the unread messages window, always try to use the X at the top right corner for faster re-access.
If you click any chat in the unread messages window, it will take you to the respective chat. Once you're done interacting, press the back button to quickly go back to the previous chat.

nice idea and thanks for making our lives easier!
but i would like to know the difference between this and the official whatsapp widget which also shows the amount of unread messages + preview of the text? .
is it due to the minimal design and it appears everywhere as a floating widget?

And yes, you're right. As described, it's about embedding and displaying the official widgets at the right time, right place and thus making 'our lives easier'.
Guys so far things look good for an alpha version, I plan to release a more concrete version soon, let me know if you have any minor feature requests that I could add at the last minute.

Hi,
I am using cloudyG2 3.3 on D802, and the app crashes.
How can I help?
Work fine on S5 Lollipop. Great Work!
Moving the Widget to the left side, would be great.

Chat Helper for whatsapp
Hey there, Can you please tell me what is it all about? I have no idea what you are going to launch. Is it something which helps the whatsapp users?
I wanna to see some private settings to whatsapp... Like to hide online status (yep, my gf irritates me when I open whatsapp to see something and she assume I have to reply her lol). There is a possibility to do it?

Okay, I have used the link that you have posted, thanks a lot. It really made my chatting experience easy!
Hi
Nice app !!! Really makes texting quicker...
Few suggestions I thought of :
1. Add an option to contact you via the app
2. Add an option to hide the window when there are no messages
3. Add an option to hide the window for a timed interval
4. Add an option to use a smaller window ?
Cheers!

Great app with some missing features
How do I set the time-out of heads up notification? Let me know please. Also, can you please add the feature to write two messages in chat heads by long pressing the send button? At the moment it's only possible in the heads up notification.

The heads-up are system headsup, so android controls the timeout unfortunately. Have no influence here.
Will investigate the multimessage bug. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for taking note. Your app is great btw. Very refined. Indispensable for me infact. Iron out the bugs and you're good to go.

hi dev, thanks a lot for your work, it's just what i was looking for. i have a couple of questions though. first of all, i joined the beta testing group but i didn't receive any update, maybe because there is no new beta version yet? also i would like to know if it's possible for you to make quickReply show app's name in notifications instead of just "quickReply".
thanks again!

Are you on Android Nougat?
Paid Floatify user here. Looks like contact photos on my Moto 360 v2 are very low resolution. Can this be fixed?

Does CM13 have a special notification format?
What do you mean with app name in notification?
maybe a screenshot would help.
Can this be used with floatify... Or best to use one or the other thanks
Unfortunately, using this means I sacrifice all rich Wear support that some apps have. Eg. Textra allows reply from watch, conversation view, hires contact photos, etc. Whole quickReply only shows a blank icon for Reply (which opens quickReply on phone), and an Open on Phone option.
Is it possible to use quickReply for all phone-side notifications, but the native notifications for Wear devices?
If not, I'll have to go without quickReply due to lack of Android Wear support. This app is otherwise fantastic!

You can turn off quick reply for apps you don't want it to work with.
