I have the app installed - but it's not in all apps and if I look at its entry in the Play Store, there is just an uninstall button - nothing to make it run.
The watch has been paired successfully, it says so on the phone.
The screen on the phone is just displaying a Play icon with a phone next to it.
I have a leaked stock 4.3 rom on my Galaxy Note 2.
Anyone help please.
What app.are you installed?

You should also install on your phone the app smartconnect and the app SmartWatch 2 from the Play Store. Are these installed?
Yes, got it all now - just me being thick, thanks tho.

My Nexus S is on 2.3.3 and I wiped everything on it so I can start fresh again. For some odd reason my YouTube doesn't work anymore. I see the app under manage apps & "all" but does not have an icon in my app drawer. Anyone have any idea how to resolve this?
Uninstall it and then re-download it from the market.

It doesn't even give me an option to. Under market and YouTube, I see the "Open" icon but its not highlighted. It won't let me open through there. You think downloading the same version of it and trying to install it would work?
Go to manage apps and then go to YouTube and uninstall from there.

Others had this issue just a few days ago. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1028532
Hey guys, just a little sharing. My Note 3 power drained quickly somehow even when wifi , GPS and bluetooth are turned off.
Today I turned off the account setting, Google+ and location sharing in Google setting, it did save a lot power! Before 100% battery lasted 6 hours only, now it lasts double! Check whether you have disabled the Google location sharing now, it really works!
After doing this, are you still able to use touchwiz weather auto update>?

My GPS and location are off and my TW weather won't auto update, I have to connect to WiFi and manually update it. (I was aware that is how this worked though from my S3 previously)
yeah thats the problem. Manually updating weather is annoying.
You can leave wireless networks ticked in location services and it'll update the weather app for you.

If you're rooted, install trickster mod from the play store.
Tap the "app ops" button.
????
Profit.

You do not need to be rooted for this...
There's an app on the play store to do exactly this... I use it on my non rooted device without any problem

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up man
Has anyone else had this happen? I keep having apps disappearing, uninstalling themselves. I will click on an app icon only to be told that the app isn't installed. sometimes the app icon turns into the android robot icon.

I've not had this on this tablet, but it happened with my old Asus Slider sometimes. Two options: 1. downloaded from a less than reputable source and the tablet caught a virus. 2. apps with update failure.
Might install a freeware antivirus/malware program like AVG..
Definitely strange. l'm on Nova too and have never experienced this. Hope you get it sorted out somehow. Two things I would probably try would be to clear cache in recovery and then ensure auto backup and restore is disabled.
I only install from the play store with the exception of the xposed framework installer. But I will try some anti virus/malware and turning off backup/restore. Thanks.

I found this tutorial and decided to make a video of it for you.It would work only with snapdragon 800 devices running Kitkat 4.4+ and rooted. This won't work otherwise at the moment.Make sure you update to the latest play services and Google search apps.

I'm on ls980 works great! Thanks! I've been waiting so long for this feature!
Works fine with T-mobile 801
German language?
Anyone get this working on cloudyfa's G3 port? I've tried installing the updated Google play services (5.0.88) but it won't install. I was able to get it to work on Mahdi's 6/28 ROM with no problem.
Word of warning this broke alarms for me. Just made them silently dismiss themselves.

Why can't I find these options?
I downloaded the apk files and ran UTG but I don't have the option to force close google search. It just shows me app info. What am I doing wrong?
EDIT: I finally got it to force close. had to go to Apps/All/Goggle and force close that way if anyone runs into the same issue.
Seems like this would create a wake lock and cause battery drain

works well for me on Eng Lang.
Has anyone tried this on the ATT version?
I did everything you said but when I get here to say "OK Google 3 times it wont listen to the first one.
With it force activated via language change etc, the camera will not record video, saying 'unable to record video while in call'. Untick the option for every screen listening and the camera is able to record once again.
So seems like it always listening makes the camera think it is permanently in a phone call. Annoying.
Sorry if it's mentioned already.
Make sure to disable LG "On Screen Phone" if you use it That's what stopped it working on my G2 (International)
Works perfectly on vs980 running cloudyfa g3 rom. Thank you!

AT&T Messaging app in play store says it is not compatible with LG G3
I used to have this app in LG G which i replaced recently to G3.
I am ok with the stock messaging app, but it doesn't have a widget that would show me the unread messages count on home screen.
Any recommendation on how to install AT&T messaging app on the G3 or any other equivalent app with widget support?
Thanks
Do you still have your old phone? If so you can upload the apk to Dropbox and download it from there. Or save the apk to an SD card, etc. Also try a search for the apk online and try sideloading it. If you use Nova launcher you can install tesla unread plug in and it will show the modification count badge directly on the icon.
No matter what, I can never stay away from android for long.
Thank you, I will try it

Did you get this to work? I found the APK but I can't configure it because the resolution of the app doesn't match the LG G3 and I can't hit the next button. Any ideas?

It installs just fine but because of the resolution you can't login.
I'm going to try to sideload the tablet version tonight.
