[Q] Idea/Question for more speed while using a2sd+

hey
i have a question about getting more speed while using a2sd+... my sd card is not the fastest and i'm tired of getting lags with daily use apps like facebook, whatsapp and opera. so my question: is it possible to switch chosen apps in internal storage and the others with a2sd+ to sd?
and what about dalvik cache? in kyrillos or kyrora is it with a2sd+ on sd or internal? and is it useful(for speed) to switch it to internal?

Yes it is very much possible to have few apps in internal memory and rest in SD card. For this you need a properly formatted SD Card which has partitions. If you are on Kyrillos ROM then App2SD is already there, else you will have to do it on your own. On Kyrillos ROM , install an app called KMAP and it will help you with that...let me know if u need any help with this.

u are using custom or stock rom...
flash kyrillos rom and enable hybrid data2sd its awesome i m currently using this is very fast and stable...
be sure if u r new to this flashing thing then carefully read instruction and how to use odin cause if u do something wrong ur phone might be brick...

i had kyrillos 9.3 but then i switched to kyrora rom... (with g3mod 2.3 and his multiboot)
what do hybrid data2sd? i thought data2sd makes phone slower? (i have class4 sd card)
kmapp is broken...a unknown error... i will flash kyorarom(or is there a difference beetween kyrorarom and kyrillos? 'cause i prefer the design of kyrorarom) again and then i try again...

Data2SD makes phone laggy. Hybrid Data2SD doesn t. In that you can choose what all folders you want to move to the SD card. How to tutorial is given in the G3Mod thread. Check it.

There's also another alternative available, i.e. Link2SD. Just search for it in the market and follow the instructions mentioned in the description.
I myself have a class 2 sd card, and after switching to Link2SD I've barely gotten any lags on my device!

but how to get link2sd worked while app2sd+ is working?

Well which is the best formate for sd ext and i have a 4gb card and i want to install htc sense build 6 it requires a 1gb partation of sd ext is it compaitable for my card

Make partition using recovery anything will work ext2/3/4 sound same to me !

All are same. Ext3 is best choice.

Since your card has really less memory and you may require it for backups, songs, pictures, etc., I would advice you to install CM9.1 build#9 normally, no extensions. Really smooth, almost no bugs. Internal memory with this rom is a lot, all you will have to do is move your apps to sd card via titanium backup. No hassles, works great, enough internal memory for my usage.

Ext3 or ext4 both will be great..
i ll personally use ext3 partition..:good::good: working for me great..but you can go with both of them.But With recovery you can make only ext3 partition.. to create ext4 partition you have to use tools. i prefer minitool partition wizard..
and you can check the difference between the both partition system here

Don't use recovery for partition..because it slow down the mem card speed...I think making swap partition will slow down the men card ..

So what to use to partition sd? I used gparted and I can't install any sense 4...tried and worked till now jaggyrom 3.2.1, 4.0.3, 4.1, cm9, cm10.
for a week i'm trying to install jaggyrom 1.2, flyrom, htc sense 4...no luck for me. It worked one day htc sense 4 but with sdext with ext2 filesystem, i'm very confuzed.

if u r with yannoun or twrp recovery then partition the card thru recovery.. n im using ext2 till now i neva faced anyproblem wid any rom.. i made it thru recovery.

I saw that if I make ext2 partition I can install sense 4 rom, it's wierd...why it's not installing on ext4 filesysytem.
About partitioning: I've partitioned thru recovery and the fat32 is with 4k cluster size and starts from sector 1, but the sd card came from factory with fat32 with 32k cluster size and starts from sector 8192...I'm worry about performance and wear level of the sd card.
Didi anybody knows about proper format of a sd card???

If anyone has a problem partitioning through recovery simply download and use mini tool partition wizard for the pc.. There are many tutorials available on how to use it, search youtube or this forum.

[Q] Galaxy Fit internal memory full or low space

I am using Samsung Galaxy Fit 2.3.6 Gingerbread, when am installing new apps am getting message as internal memory full.
Phone is even getting hanged for a long time.
I have both internal memory and RAM problem. Please help me how to move all my internal apps to SD card.

U can't move system default apps to sdcard...unlike user apps.
1. Root ur phone.
2. Use link2sd to move user apps to sdcard(if u r on stock rom & don't want to mess up ur phone).
That will free up some memory.
& for more, u can enter the world of custom roms..

I installed stock ROM S5670XXKPQ (Rus.) and custom kernel for S5670XXKPQ. After I installed Link2SD. I have total 67 apps installed and
in Internal Memory I have 90 MB free.

In system/etc not init.d.

I created an EXT3 partition on my SD card and used the Link2SD. Until now I had no problems with space.

Apps2SD. create a SD-EXT and use apps2SD and viola. It might be slow with lower class of the SD card. IF class 10 then it will be the best

[Q] HELP ME : "Storage almost full"

Hi guys,
My phone has root, SD card is 8Gb has great partition 1Gb for ext3, up rom Sense 5 EX Build#6-V1 of …. or JaggyRom_3.2.1 … that is ok
But few days ago when I up rom sense 5 v3: notification when phone stated is “Storage almost full”. I check Internal Storage: available space is less than 1Mb. I can’t action anything on my phone except call & message. Available space of SD storage is no problem
The first, I think the reason by rom, but when I up any other rom, the problem is the same. I don’t know what to do

You also need to install a memory script like mounts2sd or int2ext to make the phone move files from internal storage to the ext partition on sdcard. (Although newer ROMs come with built in support)
I assume you've already installed some such app, in which case you might have to configure it to move dalvik cache and data to external.

do this now..i think u hav ext partition...
u need to flash the rom again...but wipe evrything excpt sd card...n use memory scripts...

i m using flyrom v4.. i wanted data to b on internel memory so i moved cache to ext and have only 10 apps installed using mount2sd after restarting it shows in kbs

Restart your phone. Dont touch it for 15 mins. Let it load up and try again

[Q] REXBUILD ROM-Low Internal Space

SI have a rooted HTC Explorer and using REXbuild ROM nd quite happy with it.
I created a partition of 1GB as the ROM requires,but it ony leaves me with 150mb of internal memory.Even after rooting iam not getting large internal space,is there any way to increase internal memory...or any other ROM ....All I need is large Internal space and advanced versions of ANDROID......Plz HELP!!!!!

Man, check the link in my post!
you must make a sd-ext partition in your sdcard!

I already had made a partition using mini tool still whenever I link sd ext using link2sd it shows mount script error...pls help
