Google 4.4 Kitkat launcher - Galaxy Note 3 Themes and Apps

Hey guys, thanks to a thread I found over on the nexus 5 forum, I am now running the 4.4 launcher on the note 3. Looks beautiful
All creds to omar1c.
Original thread by omar1c: Here
http://d-h.st/M43
Download and flash through cwm
EDIT: All new gapps can be found at http://phandroid.com/2013/10/31/nexus-5-apps-android-4-4-kitkat-download/

Done try and thanks but I not really like it, the app drawer icons is too big.
Also no semi-transparent at Status Bar.

If you flash this, will it remove the touchwiz launcher? or will you just have 2 launchers installed?

Sent from my SM-N9005 using xda premium

I agree that the icons are big on a note 3 but it's fast....... very fast. It reminds me of launching an app on iOS. Android had a bit of lag in this regard but this launcher seems to eliminate that, and this is 4.3. It would be very interesting to see the nexus 5 in action with this launcher.

Don't see an option in Wanam Xposed to change DPI, tried using App Settings Xposed Module, but it doesn't seem to be changing anything. Can you explain with a bit more detail how you did it?
One thing I did notice is that App Settings never asked for root permission.

From home screen:
Hit Menu (soft key) > Settings > Voice > Change default language to something else > Hit Home > Perform a Search using the top bar > Hit Home > Hit Menu (soft key) > Settings > Voice > Change default language back to English (US) (or whatever you want) > Profit

And Heres your search fix.
Just rename your old file just in case.

I'll be honest at that time, I edited a few things in App Settings all with 320 DPI, I was themeing my phone at the time from a new flash
The things i changed were
Launcher, which i overwrited with the origional APK from the other post here(just by downloading and installing the APK) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507529
Android System
System UI
Settings
Maybe try them one by 1 and see which one it is that actually changed it, or im sure @bakercj can help you with this.
Also be sure to reboot after changing the DPI, I had to reboot a few times for it to change
But since then i have gone back to Aviate Launcher i didn't get along with the KitKat Launcher for long
I hope i helped

No root needed. You're just downloading two apks. It's very simple. You get the upgraded search and the new Google Experience Launcher which is fun to play with. As indicated above you do lose the nice transparent status bar.

Inverted AT&T Deodexed MJ5 TouchWiz Apks

Inverted TouchWiz Apks For AT&T Stock Deodexed MJ5
I thought I'd make these fully inverted stock themed apks (somewhat stock themed anyway) like I did for the T-Mobile variant
for those that would prefer not to use a theme, but would like to use their dark counterparts.
Warning!
These are just stock deodexed MJ5 apks with no additional mods included.
If your current apks are modded in anyway, those mods will need to be re-added to these apks.
How to
Download zip to your phone
Reboot into custom recovery
Make a backup or at least back up the apks that will be replaced.
Flash zip
Reboot
SecContacts and SecPhone apks
http://sourceforge.net/projects/not...Inverted_Stock_ContactsPhone_MJ5.zip/download
SecMms apk
http://sourceforge.net/projects/note3900t/files/Inverted ATT/Att_Inverted_Stock_Mms_MJ5.zip/download
FlashBarService apk (Multi Window)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/not...verted_Stock_FlashBarService_MJ5.zip/download
I won't have a problem sharing these, but if you would like to include them in your rom or use them as a base for a theme, please ask first.
There were hundreds of xmls edited to achieve this and not to mention digging for the smali files that also needed to be changed. I just ask for some courtesy.
Thanks and enjoy!

As for the running MJ5 apks on MI9, I wouldn't really know since I don't have the at&t variant and don't know what was changed between those updates. Glad you're not having any issues though and I would recommend to keep backups of the apks that were replaced just in case.

You must have flashed this on a odexed stock rom. This is for deodexed stock. You're gonna have to delete the odex files in the system/app folder of your phone for each of the apks you installed from here. Then reboot.

There's one in the T-Mobile section here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617475. I'm not sure if it'll work without issues on AT&T, so I'd suggest backing up your apk before flashing. If it doesn't work, you can try asking nijel8 if he would be willing to do the AT&T version.

System font size

Hello guys...
I want to know that is there any way to change system font size. I mean something that can change system fonts to smaller or larger as per my wish?
Hit Thanks if helped
Most phones have this ability in the settings.
If you don't, you would need root and a DPI changing app from the market. Changing the DPI can lead to bootloops if you are not careful.
Make sure you have the proper backups and know how to restore your device before playing with DPI settings.

Maybe it doesn't have it on your phone, but all the ones I have had have an option some where in settings to make the font bigger and smaller. It usually ranges from about 80% to 120%.

5. Reboot your device

I've tried and tried to deodex the g3 apps, but keep getting errors. I'll try it out in a minute.

I am sorry to say it still does not work with our system. I don't get why it wont let tabbed settings. Easy settings may have something to do with the Framework-res.apk and LGE-res.apk
As it requires those. Something in the main necessity files has something in them that the system needs.
You can't imagine how thankfull i am for this!
It works for me on D855 v10h.

@renzo090513 if you use 3rd party launcher then you can directly launch settings only in list view. You always need a next two taps on 3 dots in action bar of the settings if you want to change view to card view.
Easy settings (card view) app is "hidden". Icon of this app doesn't show up in launcher. With this little app you can launch card view of the settings directly from any 3rd party launcher.
