I believe TMO uses Asurion. Some are happy with that, but I've heard stories...

Just looked at Squaretrade.
$99 deductible.
$125 1-time payment or $192 over a 2-year span.
$225 to insure a phone that cost you $350-$400?

Yeah,,,seriously....wrap a TPU case around it, put a screen protector on it if you want, and call it good.

If I were AT&T I'd buy it off of eBay and trace how it got their once the seller's identity is revealed. I don't know if these are HTC or AT&T employees listing these phones but is risking your job worth a couple of hundred dollars in profit? I can just see putting my phone down in client meetings with a big "NOT FOR SALE" branded in to its back.
Actually bought a dev device once, didn't have the ugly not for sale bit, just a number in the corner.
All my pictures cover the corner though
I wonder if this is Votecow...? lol

what device is this? screen looks curved like cray
It's used. For the price it sells for you probably could just wait another 2 weeks and buy one out right on Ebay for a cheaper price.

$15 shipping to Canada....more than the item itself. Not worth it, even with the discount.

Samsung Book Cover Case Discount

If you want to pick up the Samsung Book Cover Case for the Note 8.0 but don't want to pay full price for it at Best Buy, go to B&H Photo/Video's website, print out the product page and take it in to Best Buy for a price match. Best Buy's website specifically states it will price match from them. You'll get a very nice discount.

Didn't realize they pricematched Amazon but it's right there on their website!
Going to try this today at lunch.
Only see the white for 19.99 and prime, but hopefully I can pick up a black cover and they won't say anything
Got bestbuy to match amazon tonignt as well. Nice deal for 19.99, which is they should be anyway. 50 dollars is nuts for this case.

BestBuy had shelves of them last week, I went yesterday and they were all sold out except the pink ones. I'm wondering if one person went and bought them all out for resale.
Ah well, got it from amazon instead and now just have to wait.

Need a replacement lcd, Dropped and shattered :(

Was wondering if you guys could help me round up the best prices on a replacement screen for my nexus 5. Im still waiting for my slim armor to come in the mail. phone slipped out of my hand while pulling it out of my pocket just now and it completely shattered. GG3 may be scratch resistant but it sure shatters easily.

Sorry about your mishap. That sucks.
As for replacement...
"The impressive damage resistance of Gorilla Glass 3 is nothing to scoff at, but in no way is the glass layer of the Nexus 5 invulnerable. The right drop will send spider cracks across the display, destroying your ability to comfortably use your device. Like the Nexus 4, LG has bonded the front frame, LCD, and glass into one piece. Replacing the glass on your phone would mean replacing the entire front panel, which will make repairs unlikely and replacements expensive. Given the low cost of the phone on Google Play ($349), it’ll likely be close to half the cost of the phone just for the replacement part, followed by installation fees if you can’t do it yourself."

eBay have them for £180
It looks like it mainly came from the top right corner, wow this is a bummer. $250 on ebay.
Currently the best price I can find, if anyone finds one at a better price, please let me know.

Check with your Credit card company many cards (all amex most discover's most nicer visa's/mastercards) have a 30-180 O crap insureance that whould cover this. Call them its normaly called perchance protection or something like that. They will either buy it back from your for same price you paid or ask them to send them a repair bill and the will credit you the cost of repair. There usealy no deduclatble and the lifetime limist are normally 5k+ so give it a try. This is a befit of buying an unlocked phone in full over a contract phone

Did you have simply check with Google services to ask them how much it would cost for them to replace your screen?
It sucks to break them at launch, I broke a $740 phone my girlfriend bought me for valentines day. It was a Verizon carrier model though so they weren't as popular nation wide and the only screens I could find were outrageous, I ended up buying a used DNA and swapping them, Google might replace it for like 100 or 150 bucks, Motorola used to do that.

Thank you so much I forgot about that! I called them and they're gonna replace it for me.
Update, Visa has issued me a cheque for the full amount of the phone, and to top it off I dont have to send the old phone back!

I need to look into getting one of these credit cards. Mine has nothing like this. It does allow me have to have no international fees, no annual fees, so is great for travelling... but buyer protection does seem awesome.
Lg charges $120 to fix it.
so glad to hear about the stroke of luck! almost wanted to cry for you. lol

Charging Port Cover Replacement

So I know some people out there at first hated the port cover. As being one of them, I initially removed it. Then after seeing countless threads about how you can't do the trade in without it or that you will be charged for it. I looked into replacement parts. At this point it was to early, so I left it alone. Now after some time I looked back into it.

Now I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but this is for the people who did remove it.
Have a good one
Looks like the shipping costs have been fixed.
I highly recommend witrigs for OEM parts.

This sounds much reasonable price!
Interesting I followed my original link and it was $2.67. Then again I live in NY. Also the shipping was free.

I was excited to see that Blue battery cover but lost all excitement when I see a big cheesy "4G" logo on it why can't anyone sell a more accurate knock off or at least the legit OEM ones!

Honestly just buy a few of these for a few bucks a piece. Remove the battery cover and you can replace it taking out 1 screw by the battery slot.
No one will ever be able to tell as long as the door is an OEM part and you don't strip/mangle the screw or something crazy as warranty still intact.
