So it's definitely a micro SIM like the Nexus 4 and not a nano SIM like some sites have reported?

you may need a new LTE compatible micro sim however.

I can't speak for the Rezound personally (although I'm considering picking one up once a GSM radio becomes available), but I can tell you that AT&Ts LTE phones like the Nitro and Skyrocket make use of regular SIM cards. The only phones I know that specifically use microSIMs are Apple devices and the Nokia N9
Hi all:
As far as I heard that the Dual SIM version of Moto G is only support for 3G+2G. I would like to ask whether if we can choose which SIM to run on 3G by simply changing the option on setting, rather than we have to plug the SIM card on the dedicated SIM slot (e.g. SIM 1 or SIM 2) in order to ensure that we can enjoy 3G network on a certain SIM card?
May I ask if anyone who is using the Dual SIM version of Moto G and check this out for me, Please?
Thanks in advance!

Yes!
Only the first sim slot supports 3G network(also 2G) but the second sim slot supports only 2G.
You can use 3G services only in sim one.

That's what I am afraid of!
I'll prefer that it can choose 3G/2G mode by selecting the mode on setting rather than by the SIM card slot! Otherwise, I would have to swap the cards in order to get the thing done!!! Also, there is another drawback by choosing the 3G mode by the SIM slot. Since you have to swap the cards in order to use 3G mode on one of the sim card, you may have to re-certified your whatsapp/line once you are swapping your card!! That's pretty troublesome for users!!
Anyway, thanks for your help!!
Due to the fact that the firmware for dual sim version is the same and have looked at the S7 duos sim tray.....can it be possible?
Did anybody try to insert in a single sim S7 tray two sim cards instead of 1 sim and 1 microSd?

Maybe just maybe it might be possible, the pins are there for the 2nd sim http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66055906&postcount=15
I am about to buy a second hand X2 701L but only if it supports 4G/LTE when I use 2 SIM cards and a MicroSD card. I only require 4G/LTE for one SIM card.
I have read confusing things about this.
A Huawei PDF with the X2 spec from the introduction in 2015 speaks about being able to assign 4G/LTE to either SIM card slot.

How would this be done?

I'm pretty sure if you use more than one sim card you'll get LTE on one sim and 2g on the second sim.
Hi,
is there any particular technical reason to choose SIM 1 or SIM 2 for the sim card ?
When I bought my Oneplus 6, there were issues with 4G network when using SIM 1 port. So I am using SIM 2 from the beginning. Never tried to use SIM 1 port.
So should I continue to use SIM 2 or should I switch to SIM 1. If yes, why ?
