Just got my S4 and have been looking for a specific type of case and hoped someone might have discovered what I'm after. I'm looking for a case that has four things:
- Wallet style case with flip front
- Cards slots for credit cards/notes
- Clips to back of phone replacing battery cover (like OE Samsung S-View case) to keep phone ultra slim - carbon fibre would be awesome
- Magnetic screen shut off
TBH is the OE Samsung flip case had slots for cards/notes It'd be perfect. But the closest I've found is the Watson Wallet but the phone sits inside a plastic tray/cradle adding to the bulk rather than replacing the battery cover.
So there's no such thing then? Echo echo echo...........
The best your gonna do is from spigen sgp

This probably will not exist because magnets can ruin credit cards and other swipable cards over time.
Was looking for exactly the same thing myself - in the end I went with one of the many leather flip cases

preferably rubberized battery cover door with a kick stand, that would be ideal
Check out Seidio. They have a few.

I bought the case mate pop for the s4 (http://www.case-mate.com/Samsung-Galaxy-S4-Olo-Cases/Case-Mate-Samsung-Galaxy-S4-Pop-Cases.asp) I got it to use while I debated ordering a Spigen Neo Hybrid, but I have to say i'm liking it, the inside is not all rubber, the back part of it is, but the sides where the chrome bezel is is not all rubber there is plastic there, the case is a tight fit with rubber on all the open slots, i've used it for 2 days and it doesn't seem any dust has gotten in there. It quite tough to take out of the case, the case doesn't have much give which I think is a good thing, I might keep it. The stand is designed to work primarily in landscape and is pretty good, it will also work in portrait, its kind of hard to unclip it though which may also be a good thing since it wont come loose easily. Behind the kick stand there is a hole that leads to the battery cover but thats only exposed when the kickstand is out. The case is decently slim, doesn't add too much.
I second Seidio. I've had two of their cases before, and they're great. The Surface line is very slim but is compatible with their holster and their dock. I'll be ordering one for my S4 as soon as they have the color I want.
Guys,
Here is the quick review of the Samsung Note 4 S-View Wireless Charging Case and the Fake China S-View Case and some other cases ( Wallets and TPU)
Question?
Just wanted to put my opinion in also mate. Gotta say this is the worst case I have owned on any phone. I bought this case as I wanted to try the flip case. Firstly only get this case if you NEED a flip case. It covers the LED so only way to know if you have notifications is to turn the phone on. The edges of this case a hard and narrow, therefore holding the phone for periods becomes very uncomfortable. It also will not protect the phone if dropped, the front flip becomes slightly flexible so you will damage the corners of the phone if you drop it. Also the screen gets incredibly smudged by fingerprints unlike the actual screen. Very hard to keep clean as it has two sides to it.
Hate flip cases anyways

Yeah, The looks. I actually bought another S view (Gold color) without wireless charging
Verizonwireless.com has the charging case for $39.99 and the standard S-view for $19.99! Damn good prices considering the retail prices of these cases. Just ordered the charcoal one that has built-in charging. And no, you do not have to have an account to order. :good:

Yup that's where I ordered. The gold one looks better than I thought
Thanks for the review.
I have a fake chinese flip S-view cover for my Galaxy S4, and for the price it was simply great. the S-view worked fine, and quality was really decent.
One I'm considering buying a similar one for my new Note 4, and I think that the original OEM cases (both wireless and non-wireless ones) are simple overpriced!
I made some searches, and noticed that there are no fake chinese ones with the IC chip which enables the native S-view windows. They all have those custom badly functioning apps you have to download from chinese websites, just like you mentioned in the video.
Is there any fake flip case with a working native S-view cover??
Thanks!!
I grabbed one from Verizon for $19.99 (as mentioned above). I found the price acceptable, but wouldn't pay the full price for it. It's a nice case, but the window smudges are annoying (as others have mentioned).

$20 is not that bad for a real S view case from Verizon. I don't think any fake one works same as real Sview because of the small magnet/chip insert cost more.
Nice review ... This is mine..

Besides those cases above in my review, I bought 4 more cases
1- a 2 layer wallet case
2 - Gold Samsung S view case (real)
3 - a case with stand in the back (Garrco case)
4 - another simple backup case (using now ) and love it

Love my S view case.
I find it very useful I have qi wireless chargers on the desk, nightstand and car... So convenient.
And the Note 4 is so damn good looking, I just can't cover it all up with a big, bulky (ugly) case.
To each their own...

I don't like flip and wallet cases no matter how many I bought ( use for max 2 days). Always come back to TPU case for the convenience
Sent from the Galaxy Note 4 - Have a nice day.
I was looking for a Wallet case for my Samsung Galaxy S5 with the OEM wireless charging back but found nothing. I got used to having a wallet case for 2 years on my SIII and I don't want to go back to carrying an additional bulky object in my wallet. As most wallet cases are just a PU leather flip case/wallet glued to a plastic shell I figured I could remove the wallet portion and glue it to a Samsung Qi Backplate. I ran into a problem however as neither E6000 nor JB Kwik Weld would adhere to the backplate material. Does anyone know of a glue or epoxy that will bond to the S5's backplate?
I am also in the same boat. Would like to know if you find a product. If there's none available I'm probably going to modify a wallet case so it suits my needs.
Reporting back. Ordered this case a few days ago. I got the i9100 extended battery covery and the similar 'slip over' silicon jobs that come with the wallet cases work. It was only $7 so I'm willing to give it a try!

A few devices back I tried a wallet case for the first time. Most wallet cases I have tried are similar to a standard flip case with the exception of a few pockets to place cards in. Then there are the cases that hide the cards inside of them. The issue with both of this is extremely limited space when trying to completely get rid of the wallet. Anyways, a few days before I pre-ordered my device I looked at cases. I came across 2 wallet cases that I liked. I was only going to order the second case below, but after I did I showed my wife and she told me "It looks girly." So I ordered the first case below as well. So now I have 2 wallet cases on the way. They appear to be similar with the exception that one uses a battery to hold the device and the other uses a pocket that you slide the case on the phone into. Here are the links encase anyone else wants to order one.
1) Multi-function Genuine Zipper Wallet Leather Case Cover For Samsung Galaxy Note 7
2) Multi-function Wallet Detachable ID CARD Cover Case For Samsung Galaxy Note 7
I did order both in black. Just encase you are curious.
When I've bought the Z Flip 3 I've bought the Spigens Tough Armour too since I've always used it on almost all my phone's. It the last days, the case had few problems due the fact that I always take it away when I'm home and put it on only when I am at work so, the bottom side of the cover kept slipping off the phone and this was pretty annoying.
I've contacted Spigen on their website and send them a video of what was going on.
Long story short, in the next few days a free-of-charge Thin Fit cover arrived home with an extra pack of adesive stripes inside for the Tough Armour.

Oh, it wasn't the two words that I was thinking of then
How are you finding the Spigen Thin Fit?
I also got a Tough Armor, but I find it's just a bit too bulky - the main reason I got the Flip 3 was that it fits easily in my trouser pockets. I then got the Samsung silicone case - which I really like, but I find that the (super useful) ring gets in the way on my car's wireless charging cradle.
I was going to get a Spigen Thin Fit, but I read a lot of reviews which said that it makes the fingerprint reader hard to use, so instead I've just ordered a Samsung Aramid cover, which gets mostly good reviews. Hope I've made the right choice.
(As an aside, why are cases for the Z Flip 3 so expensive? I usually spent under £10 a case for my previous phones, but for the Flip 3 they are £30+).

If you want a thin fit case, try the Ringke one. I got that after reading all the reviews about the Spigen thin case.
The RIngke doe sits job well. Don't get the transparent one, because the flash reflects through it. The standard matte black is fine.
On the pricing side, it's probably because they are 2 pieces, and not a standard shape...

Thanks for the suggestion. I've just ordered one from Amazon - both the Ringke and the Samsung Aramid are on "free returns", so I'll see which I prefer and send the other one back.
I got this one, extremely satisfait with it.
