[Q] Best ROM for i9003

I am planning to install a custom rom on my i9003, which is running XXKPQ. Suggest me the best rom to install on the phone to optimize it to the maximum. If required, I can install any other base firmware as required by the ROM. That is not an issue!

i´m using Agrawalca-v2.
Works excellent, but I don´t like the icons and design at all.

"ALL" gb roms are buggy bcoz GB itself is buggy. if you need a bug free rom then there is only one froyo based rom NamaROM by a great developer who has a long history of support.

Namaless stoped the development for DarkGenMod , honestly i hate how he never gives an ETA and always leaves you hanging , i mean i know hes doing all of this for free but why promise something and then stop working on it? he was just about to release the 3.2 release and he decided not to at the last damn second! im looking for other alternatives at the moment...

[Q] Remove scroll lag--Micromax Canvas HD A116

Hi,
I am a Micromax Canvas HD A116 owner
I have recently flashed a new V2 stock rom from micromax itself, but this rom is lagging too much in scrolling than the previous one.
Stock launcher is very laggy too. So I tried using the Nova Launcher which was also giving annoying laggy hiccups(nova launcher was awesome in previous rom).
I don't want revert back to the previous rom because in this rom the colors of screen are much improved. And MMX Canvas HD is very fast phone with MediaTek quad core processor,it shouldn't lag .
So could any one tell me how can this problem be solved cause after all its an official update it should perform good.

You can try edit build.prop and/or use only hw accelerator(google for your device about it).I don't remember,what should be edited,but google also know.

Have you tried any of the custom ROMs out there? I am using Jelly Deamon and its pretty good!

No,but maybe use more cpu(+ 0.5-1 % )

Yes i have tried these custom roms too i know there are really good. But they are based on previous stock release in which the screen contrast is much high and colors are not that cool,thats why i like this rom very much cause the lcd colors are fixed. . and i dont think that there is any custom rom based on this new stock rom release.
Suggest me if you know any of such rom.Thanks

Yes brothers, many of us have been waiting for this ROM, and no one was doing it, that is what made me to port it
and for 4.2... I donno brothers... Base of this ROM is ZTE V970, and the official release of lewa os 5 for the device is based on 4.1.2...
I will see if I can bring 4.2 lewa os 5 ... And thanks guys... Enjoy the beauty...

I won't be able to answer them and provide solutions... And for some inevitable reasons I am not on this ROM now..

The kernel used in roms like lewa and miui is different from stock kernel.To make them work in These roms these kernel need to be modded.If no kernel is provided with the rom u can install the kernel from mufti.aryan's lewa thread.

First of all thank you and I know about the kernel modding thing,I just wanted someone or the @op to do it since I don't know about the modding.Please help it would be really great if thunderzap would work on this rom,also I'm facing play store 'no connection' issue,can anyone solve it?

for me Pound ROM CM11 is better bro, smooth and light for daily use on my device...

thanx... but cm11 is new... and all roms are unstable at early stages so iam planing for a delay. so will u suggest one from the '0's ?

for me cm 10.2 no random crashes smooth no hot reboots no SOD ALL smooth with DATA / cache swap of 75 MB each and some of ma own init.d scripts like min free values removing temp files logs etc boot brightness and all

CM10 Qwerty by loSconoscuito is by far the best rom ever for i9003. stable, superfast, smoothest and awesome for gaming.

Hello XDA fellows, since we all have problem with our galaxy core :
- lags x
- bugs x
- bad responding x
- too slow opening apps x
- low smoothness x
- poor battery life x
- and much more other x
I was looking for a way how to reslove them or bring them all to the lowest level possible.
So in this thread i will give you some tips how to improve(PowerUP) your Galaxy Core.
First of all we need to have a right ROM for our device, and i can recommande you COREX rom.
-Why COREX?
*Because it have best tweaks, so automaticly your rom performances are better.
-But it's 653mb who the hell needs all those apps?
*These apps are provided for a better experience and can be easly uninstalled with Link2sd or any other app.
U can find it HERE.
(This rom is only for GT-I8262)
Now is the time for Fly-On MOD script.
Intro:
-Fly-On Mod is a Mod that combines many script,binary and other tweaks in one package which is aimed to improve Android system's Smoothness,reduce GUI lags and of course some useful battery life improvements and tweaks.
How to install:
Before Flashing do a nandroid backup to avoid any incompatibility issues. Safety reasons.
1. Download the Fly-On Mod main pack and sqlite pack according to your phone's Android version.
2. Rebooting into recovery mod.
3. Install Signed_Fly-On_Mod_V4.0-Alphax.zip and sqlite_xversion.
4. Reboot and feel the smoothness!
By my recommendation u should download V5 Alpha3, and u can find it HERE.
Also download Sqlite for JB 4.1.2 HERE.

Now with combination of these two u got by default amazing 11000 on Antutu Benchmark.
For RAM u should always use Greenify(wich is allready installed in corex rom as system app).

Yeah my score was 10800 and up and em on stock rom right now so I think that score was awesome for stock rom ...

GTI8262 running on lolicop rom (thnx to vaibhav) with fly on mod v5 alpha 3 scripts and v6 supercharger
with the same setting on my s2 lite running on carbon rom resulted in a laggy environment also not able to delete some scripts to disable the tweaks. so planning for a clean install

I don't know if cosmic rom don't have script then it will do the job.

Yes it works on stock rom, and i think it's the fastest combination on this phone (STOCK+FlyOnV5+sqlite4.1.2).

Wut mate? This made my phone slower, antutu showed results by more than thousand points lower!

What rom are you using?
U can't put something in "ROM" (wich i dont know if it have allready script or smothing similar)
ROMS like cosmic all ready have script inside, so u can't put 2 srcipts on 1 phone.
Read rom's specifics.
