Ive used hyperdrive 15 and 16 so far and on both it has let me pair devices on my bluetooth but in both cases even though it is appeared to be playing no sound will come through. I have tried it both times with LG bluetooth headset and the nsync stereo in the 2013 ford focus. Is there a fix that needs to be done for bluetooth to work with custom roms or are there any good custom roms that do work with bluetooth?

Hi everybody. I'm new to android. Recently i fleshed the ROM This is what i have now: Simply Honey 3.2 by SGT
Ever since the new ROM my headset isn't working. I can hear the noise when i move the plug in n out but no sound.
Other thing i cannot turn my Bluetooth on either. It says turning on but after a while it goes back to it's original state.
Any help would b greatly appreciated.
i would say try a new rom, it may be a bug in the bluetooth. Or if its a wired headset it may just be the phone. In short, flash a new rom and report back.
The phone is good. Tried 2 diff headset. B4 this ROM both was working perfectly. I believe it's a known bug and there is a fixing in Settings but i cannot find where it is.
Hi Everyone,
I feel happy to come here; this is truly a good place to learn different android tweaks and development.
I had a very specific question about my HTC Desire. I am testing the BCM CM9 mod from the Desire sub-forum, and it said the headset should work.
However, after I flashed the rom, everything works (m2sd, apps restore) except this annoying headphone detection issue.
My Desire seems cannot detect the headset after I plugged in; no headset icon shows up in the notification, test playing music still go through speakers.
Does anybody experience this issue? I should have post this under the CBM CM9 mod thread but the 10 posts limit limits me to do that...
Anyone has the similar problem? and How can we test in Android terminal to see if the headset is detected by kernel? Thanks!
I loaded CM 10 Alpha 3 on my MyTouch 4G Slide and I'm having a weird issue with Bluetooth in my car. Bluetooth is pairing fine and I can play music over Bluetooth and all the other functions work fine over Bluetooth except talking on phone calls. I've tried manually switching from the normal hand set mode to Bluetooth but is has no effect. I can initiat calls and the answer button will answer the calls I just cant talk over Bluetooth. I've re-paired the phone with the car and I've even tried a factory reset with no luck. Does anybody have any suggestions? It worked fine on the previous ROM I was running but that was and ICS ROM.
Thanks for any help
I would roll back to ICS since it was working fine. Our ICS is stable but our jellybean is only alpha. Also maybe try posting in the CM10 thread

I would recommend you try wiping all the caches etc and giving CM10 another shot, because I haven't had issues with my bluetooth headset. However, As stated above, the earlier release is really the place to be if you are expecting near perfection.
So I have been flashing my ass off to find a Rom that has Bluetooth AVRCP (music information readout) baked in. When I stream audio via Bluetooth (Pandora or GMusic) to my car's head unit (My Ford Touch with Sync) there has been little to no apps that support AVRCP. CM 10 did support it; however, I cannot get a good flash of CM10 on my d2vzw. No matter what gaaps I flash CM10 will not run properly. I do a clean install every time to no avail. I tried CM 10.1 but they lost the Bluetooth AVRCP support from 10 - 10.1 I have been flashing all sorts of various Roms at different versions to try and find AVRCP support. If anyone has a rom that they are able to get Bluetooth music info displayed please let me know. Or if you know what I am doing wrong in my CM 10 install. I searched the forums and no one really had any answers; however, the last inquiry was over 6 months ago. I am hoping something new has come to light. Thanks.
OK so i found this ancient android phone (lg e400) it originally ran android 2.3.6 so after some digging through the posts related to this phone i found a thread which linked to a custom rom which allowed the phone to run android 4.1 but the issue that i am facing is that the phone is not playing sound on neither my Bluetooth headphones nor on my wired headphones i am not sure if the wired ones are getting detected but i am pretty sure that the bluetooth ones are detected because you know it shows connected for media in settings but it is still playing the sound on the phones speaker(btw i am putting this post here because nobody will see in the desolate e400 section)
