[Q] Random reboots and bootloop on CM10.1.3 stable - HTC One S

Hi guys,
So yesterday I updating my HTC One to CM10.1.3 Stable release from some older 10.1.1 nightly, using the OTA updater, it flashed fine, then I put it into fast boot in order to manually flash boot.img uing adb. That worked, it booted no issues.
A couple of hours later, the phone just turned off, it was sitting in my desk, I saw the screen flash, it then rebooted, and bootlooped on the CM start up screen. I thought okay maybe the boot.img didn't flash right, so flashed again (note the boot.img used was extracted from the update zip file, so I am assuming is the correct one)
After flashing the boot.img again, starts up fine.
Then again at like 3am, the bright startup screen woke me up, and it was bootlooping again while on charge. I have no idea what's going on, it works fine besides that, I'm posting from my phone as well.
Anyone else having this issue? Or any way to solve it?
Thanks,
Aaron

4.2.1 CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.4 boot issues

Hi All
First time poster but long time reader.
i have in the past successfully unlocked and flashed CROMi and has been working fine but thought it would be time to update to 4.2.1 so went through the usual process of updating. Had tried it twice today and both times successfully flashed with no errors etc.
But once its finished and i reboot the system, it passes the Asus logo and then gets to the CROM Inheritance screen and just sits there... at first i thought something failed and rebooted and restored back to 4.1.1.
Then after reading the forums etc. figured i did nothing wrong, tried again and again everything installed successfully, rebooted and again hangs in the same spot. This time i ended up going to the gym so left it for a good 45mins and came back and still the same spot.
so restored back and my infinity works fine... but cant figure out why its hanging... anyone got any ideas?
thanks in advanced.

Did you read and follow these instructions first, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2223492
What boot animation did you choose? There is a problem with the one with fire. At first i also got stuck in the boot animation, then reflashed choosing the nexus 7 animation and everything worked fine.

Phone wont fully start, CWM wont boot

So ive been running CM 10.1 with CWM v6.0.4.3 for several months without major issue until last night. I went to send a text message to someone, and right as i went back to my home screen, the phone froze, rebooted, and when it finished rebooting, the deice would freeze again as soon as the lock screen was reached, and reboot again. Cue repeated circle of freeze, reboot, finish rebooting, freeze, reboot.
I turned the phone off by taking out the battery, put it back in and charged it overnight without booting it up. Went to start the phone today, same issue still. I would boot into recovery and try to re-flash the OS, and it would give me a status 7 error. After re-downloading everything into my sd card, i was eventually able to get the system to re-install cm10.1.3, and it booted up normally. I downloaded and installed ROM Manager, and installed the newest version of CWM Touch, version 6.0.4.5, and then tried to boot into recovery to install CM11. It showed the CWM Hat icon in the middle of the screen, with the version on the bottom of the screen, then rebooted on its own without showing any menu options.
Now if i try to boot into recovery, it just shows the icon and version again, then reboots, and wont go past the CM loading screen with the spinning cyanogenmod icon.
Not sure what to do at this point, i cant get into recovery to try and flash something new, and i cant get past the CM loading screen to actually use my phone. Any ideas? I have zero experience with adb, so im stumped.
UPDATE: Solved, i flashed TWRP over CWM using Odin, and was from there able to re-install the OS. Things seem to be working fine for the most part, with the exception of one random reboot last night.

You can try to reflash CWM with Odin, if that not working, you could try to Odin back to stock.

I figured it out yesterday actually and forgot to update! Indeed I was able to flash TWRP with odin, since CWM seemed to be blocking me from doing anything. Once that was up and running, things went back to normal, i was able to flash CM 10.2.1 and things seem to be working now.
One thing though, while playing skyrim last night i had it on the charger next to me, and the phone randomly rebooted without any interaction from me. Was odd, but it hasnt done it since. Keeping an eye on it still.

[Q] Asus TF300T boot loop CM11/OMNIROM logos

(backstory) Hi, ive had an Asus TF300T, for about 3 years now, unlocked, rooted it pretty early on... cycled between cyanogenmod and omnirom quite a bit, without really any major issues. Until today, i was running Cyanogenmods latest nightly build (CM11 Nov 5 2014), it worked just as any other nightly does a few bugs here and there, but nothing major and i hadn't done any major flashing or modding to the device. On my home from university, I turned my tablet off. And when i got home i plugged in the charger, and just as always the tablet turned on, showed the stock Asus screen, then changed to the Android boot animation... the animation then suddenly froze, and the device went into a boot loop... continuously... I dont know whats weong with it... tried to do a factory reset, i tried reinstalling the ROM, tried installing omnirom, but that got stuck on the OmniRom animation...
Im running Asus build 10.6.1.27.5
I had TWRP v2.7.0.1 installed but have now no longer works
id really hope there is a solution for this!
Thanks!
Edit: I dont know why, but when i try using fastboot or adb, the device isnt recognized. It doesnt show up on device manager either. I dont know if its the cable cause i bought it new, it says its can sync data, or a faulty charge/sync port....

^THIS!
I was just to open a similar thread, then i saw your post. I join your request for help!
A month ago i have done a favor to a friend by unlocking his tf300t and installing CM11 on it. A few days ago he comes to me with this problem. I've tried anything but still no success:
- restore a backup done before flashing CM11 --> restore ends correctly but the problem remains
- flash a rom (CM11 and OmniRom) --> flash ends correctly but the problem remains
- flash the stock firmware found on asus website (WW_epad-user-10.6.1.27.5.zip, the SKU is correct for my version) --> the flash process stuck (i had to force restart the tablet after almost 2 hours of "flashing")
Since the boot animation changes according to the rom, i suppose the flashing process works. But the problem remains: after a few seconds the animation freeze and the device restarts, in loop.
Informations on the system:
- build 10.6.1.27.5
- TWRP v2.7.0.1 (working!)
- adb works (i managed to set /data as rw and push the .zip file to flash)
- fastboot should work
Please help! I feel a bit responsible for bricking my friend's device
SOLVED!
Finally!
I had already tried this method, before requesting for help, but the first time didn't worked... I don't know why this evening the tablet decided to collaborate:

That worked for me! :victory:

[Q] Help needed with bricked 1+1

Hey guys, I tried something on my phone and everything went to hell.
The following scenario took place:
Last night, I flashed this ROM and it worked just fine. I played around with it a bit and then wanted to go back to my daleski75 version of Lollipop.
I wiped the phone through TWRP and restored my backup and it booted into it just fine.
The thing I noticed immediately was that the bootlogo was the ColorOS version. And then when I was using my phone, the only way to wake the screen up, was to plug in the charger.
So I decided to fastboot flash CM11S.
I entered -fastboot flash boot boot.img and my phone automatically rebooted and then it just went blank.
A black screen, but I get vibration when I try to shut it off or go into fastboot.
I don't see it in Device manager though.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the chinese or the international version?
Have you ever had Color OS Installed?
Make sure that your battery is not empty and try again. If you can't boot into fastboot or recovery you have to contact the Oneplus Support to repair your device.

[Completed] [HELP] Nexus 5 stuck on bootloop and recovery load-up

Hi there,
I've got quite a peculiar problem with my Nexus 5.
Last night, I left my phone on charge. It was working normally and the software was functional etc. However, once I woke up, the phone was constantly restarting itself, and wouldn't load past the boot animation. I tried to load up fastboot to enter the TWRP recovery, however, the phone froze on the load screen. I should also add that my custom boot animation was replaced by the CyanogenMod mascot.
This problem has never occurred before, and I really haven't got a clue how to fix it. I tried to use WugFresh's NRT to flash a factory image of Android 6, however, the command terminal indicated that each process had failed. This did not restore the phone to its original condition.
I should also point out that I have been running a CM 12.1 nightly, which has been very stable and I have been using this nightly, without major problems (bar the infrequent system UI crashes) for a couple of months. It is obviously rooted and I have a Nandroid backup, which I can't access for aforementioned reasons.
Please help me to bring back my phone! This is literally driving me nuts, and I haven't so far found a solution that works! I would be happy to clarify and elaborate upon any point of information.
Thanks,
Sami
