When I push the button it records for about 2 seconds and then it stops, it plays and

I was hoping to find a solution here...
I have a similar problem, I do have the regular recording time, and my videos don't look as bad as yours, but the different colour layers of the video don't line up... it's very annoying...
I tried reinstralling the app, trouble shooting and even setting my phone back to factory settings....
I reported the bug at Snapchat but they aren't of any help. they just tell me to trouble shoot.
If there's any solutions, I'd love to know!

Hi, i just received my Sensation today , i'm pretty happy with it so far but then i found a nasty bug.
After i record a video, looks like the soundcard of the phone just went dead, i cant play video , cant play music, there's no sound from the phone at all. I have to restart the phone to get sound back.
I also tried to uncheck stereo recording and different resolution but still no result. And this happens every single time.
Has anyone encountered this problem before ? is this a normal bug ?
Just noticed my One X video capture crashes everytime I use it, the camera still takes photos but the second I hit the video button it just quits.
I've only tried to record video once before and it was fine, but this was before the update was pushed out.
It's running stock 1.28.401.9. Please Help.

I'm having a quite big issue... No matter what app I use, Camera, Snapchat or Instagram that problem is always there.
So basically when I'm recording something, phone does record great but there is small lag between starting video and sound recording.
When I started recording video on any of the above mention app, the video start to record and then sound after like 1 or 2 seconds.
It's quite annoying on Instagram or Snapchat, even on normal camera when I'm recording...
I save everything to my internal memory due to my full SD Card filled up with music and it's quite slow with writing stuff.
It's only Class 4. So you know...
Do you know how to solve that I don't a lag between recording this to things ?
It would be very great as I'm nearly unable to chat in snapchat because of it -.-...
Bump up! It look's like it's a microphone lag as it happens during call too.
Any idea how to fix it ?

Just got my nexus a couple days and it's been great up until now. I recently thought I was recording a video and was dissapointed to find that not only did it not record, but won't record anything. Nothing happens when I press the record button in video mode. Takes pictures just fine, plays video just fine. Everything else is working great. I hope there's some simple thing I'm doing wrong but I know my way around an android phone and I don't understand what could be the issue.

Hey all,
I have experienced no sound when recording videos for a few months now. There is no way of knowning there is no sound until the moment has gone and I replay the video back.
If I restart the phone the sound is then recorded for a week or days, I don't know.
I think it was OK before the last update but I may be wrong.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello, same issue here. Sony Xperia XZ Premium, all updates installed. First time i've noticed that issue a week ago. Restarting the phone helps, but then again after some time, video is recorded with no sound (sound option is on).
