Is there any possibility that i can flash any RUU? if so how do i do it? do i have to change the CID?
I see that TrickDroid is out but if is flash it will i be able to get back to my stock rom?
I searched so many threads and could not find any descend thread where it says it all, All these terms CID, Hboot, RUU, boot.img is so complicated to understand, please tolerate my noobness and kindly please help me.
Thanks in Advance
yesterday I had installed a tmobile ruu. The RUU changed my radio and my hboot. Now I wanted to install my RUU wich i have used at least 3 or 5 times. But it when wanted to run the ruu it says that i have to search a compatible ruu for my phone. but because i have already used the ruu i simply changed the radio to 1.11.50.05.28 but it don't work is it because i have a other hboot?
my ruu: RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.8_Radio_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301814_signed_2_4
my bootloader:
***RELOCKED***
VLE PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
CID-11111111
HBOOT-1.14.0004
RADIO-1.11.50.05.28
OpenDSP-v31.1.0.45.0815
eMMC-boot

As you're s-off I think you should reflash stock recovery before you will be able to flash any other RUU successfully...
Also it's not necessary to lock/unlock bootloader once you are s-off.

Hi,
My phone (AT&T HTC One XL) is running on a Viper XL 4.2 Rom. Of late I see signal drops (No Service) and random reboots. Could some one please help me with to overcome these issues. I am using this phone in India and the service provider is Airtel.
**I read in a forum that changing the firmware and security setting to S-off would help. If yes could you please guide me on this.
Current phone settings are as below,
***TAMPERED***
***UNLOCKED***
EVITA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.14.0002
RADIO-0.19as.32.09.11_2
Open DSP-v29.1.0.45.0622
emmc-boot

Thanks for your help and support.
First you need to find out if you have SuperCID or not. The fastboot command to show your current CID is:
Code:
fastboot oem readcid
If it shows up as 11111111 you have SuperCID, if not you need to get SuperCID first.
Once you have SuperCID you can get s-off, you'll find that thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155071
Once you have s-off you can update your firmware, you'll find the download and instructions in the first post of this thread:

Thanks a ton for your response. I just verified my CID its CID: CWS_001. Please suggest further course of action to get Super CID.

Looks like you've flashed the 2.15 firmware so the Beastmode kernel isn't necessary.

Hi I have the htc one s'm root, and I have unlocked and tampered these parameters in the bootloader:
s-on rl
hboot 2.15.0000
Radio 1.11.50.05.28
open dsp v31.1.0.45.0815
you know where to find the vodafone RUU bootloader to close and remove the tampered?
THANKS
