[FREE] [APP] Fast image sharing: Tiny Image - Android Apps and Games

Hi,
I developed an app and hope it will help you sharing your images. Please let me know what you think.
Tiny Image is a free and easy to use app to scale one or more images down before you share them via email, social media or instant messenger.
Camera images typically have a file size of a few megabytes. Therefore, sharing one or more images will take some time, depending on your mobile data connection.
You can use Tiny Image to scale one or more images down before sending them via mobile data connection. This reduces the time needed for sending your images and reduces your data traffic.
Using Tiny Image is very simple:
1. Open Tiny Image and enter the size of output images. Default is 50%.
2. Use your favourite gallery app and select the images you want to share.
3. Click on Android share icon and select Tiny Image.
4. Only a few seconds and your images will be ready for sharing.
5. Choose desired app from prompted list to share your images.

(APP) HTC ONE Stock File Manager

Hello Everyone
this is my first post in xda :victory::laugh:
iam bring to you HTC ONE Stock File Manager
features a clean and minimalistic UI, letting users explore and manage their Phone storage and USB storage. It includes the following options: Search, multiple file select mode, Cut/ Copy/ Rename/ Delete, create new folder, share files, view file/ folder properties (size, permission, location) and the option to sort content (by name, size, date modified, and type). It also allows you to view files attached through USB On-The-Go (OTG) device and copy them from USB to phone and vice-versa. The documents, images, and music files, etc. opens up with the standard file viewer. The manager doesn’t offers powerful features like other 3rd party apps but will serve your purpose for day-to-day usage
works fine on my LG g2 D802 here is screen shot http://s24.postimg.org/nadzrigud/Screenshot_2014_09_04_12_32_23.png

Trying to find camera app that displays image file name

Just wondering if anybody out there might know of a camera app (or some other way to achieve this) that will display the image file name automatically for a period of time after taking a photo. I am using my android phone camera to record literally thousands of images of maintenance items and I have to write down the image file name on the inspection form each time. This is so that a link to the file can be built back up in excel and the correct image can be imported into the correct record back in the office. I can see the image name easily enough by selecting the image view soft button after taking a picture and then tapping the picture and the file name is displayed for a couple seconds at the top. The display usually disappears before I get the whole thing written down so have to hit it a couple times. This is just a pain and a time limiting factor when I have to do thousands. I'm trying to find a camera app (or other means) that will remove a step or two from the process. Any ideas?
The other thing that would help is being able to change the file naming protocol of captured images to sequential instead of the (often preferred) date/timestamp. I know this seems like a step backwards and most people try to change the protocol the other way but for my purpose, knowing I just have to add 1 to the previous file name is sooooooooo much quicker.

Photo names and duplications

Hi all
Whenever I transfer my photos to my pc from the device, it asks if i want to overwrite some i already have. This seems down to the phone creating file names in the same order at all times, rather than say - naming a photo by it's date.
How can I change the way file names are saved/created in the camera app, at present I'm having to give each photo a name so as not to loose any in the process of saving them to my desktop.
Renz
I would say some more input about what you do exactly would be helpful so I'm just guessing that by transfer you mean moving the photo files off the phone and new pictures start again with DSC_0001.JPG. To prevent this keep the last photo (with the highest number in the filename) on your phone to avoid that the next photo starts with 1 again.
I use "DSC Auto Rename" from the play store. Install it, activate it and you can set it to automatically name files by date and time. It runs in the background and works perfectly

Click to collapse
Android system takes smaller copy of all images on the device (thumbnails) and store them in various hidden locations ,even after you delete the original image or move it to encrypted application.
other apps as well doing the same process for catching images such as WhatsApp and Viber for the sent or received images
nowadays this thumbnails are no longer tiny or blurry images due to the massive screen resolutions
all these images are not visible in the system Gallery, but my app collect them all in one place so you can use them for
* Image recovery if the original images deleted
* Free up space
* or to insure that your private images no longer exists.

[APP] zipNship - Share photos without loss of quality

This app allows you to compress files to decrease their size and in case of photos to send them from any app without loss of quality.
Unlike other apps that offer this functionality, zipNship does not need read and write storage permissions to create zip files. Does not require any permission at all.
You can get it from Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.easyjoin.zipnship
How it works
• Select one or more files using your favorite file manager, a gallery app and any other app you use to view and manage your files.
• Share the selected files and send them to "zipNship - Zip".
• Create a compressed file that contains all the selected files. Minimize the size of the data to be sent and in case of photographs maintain their quality.
• Share the zip file with any application, send it via email, message or save it in the cloud.
• You can share the zip file again or delete it to free up space on your storage.
Note that some files, such as jpg photographs, cannot be compressed much more than the original. In this case, putting them in a zip file guarantees that their quality will not be impacted by the program used to send them.
You can also unzip a file in a similar way. You will have to select the zip file and share it with "zipNship - Unzip". The first time you will need to select a folder and allow the application to unzip the file on it.
