Has anyone else had issues with pausing music with the HBS 730? On my Google Nexus 4 by LG, when using Pandora, I can volume, play and skip songs but I cant pause music. A known issue? Is there a fix for this?
Try holding the button down a little longer.

Google Music app will (at random) come through the speakers as opposed to my headphones, I'll unplug and plug my headphones back it doesn't help.
I've used other music players and this doesn't happen but I like having Google Music for streaming, does anyone have a fix?

I'm having this same problem. Have you found a fix yet?
I'm experiencing a strange problem. When I try to use the HTC Music player or Google Play Music, the song appears to be playing, but no music comes out of the speakers. When I plug in headphones I hear the song. When I take the headphones out, the speakers play the music. When the song changes, back to no music from the speakers and I need to plug in headphones to fix it. I don't think it's a hardware issue because Netflix, YouTube, and other apps don't have this problem. Just the HTC Music app and Google Play Music so far.
Any ideas what's going on?

Media volume turned down? Don't know if it's got different settings for front speakers vs. headphones, but worth looking into.

Nope that's not it unfortunately.
This is a very bizarre issue. Other apps don't have this problem. I just downloaded a generic music player on the Play Store and this app has no problems either. It's just Google Play Music and the HTC Music app.
Clear data on both of them. Uninstall and reinstall GMusic.

I having this exact problem! But my problem seems to extend to 3rd party applications, like Shuttle+!
So for the last couple of months, seemingly randomly, my music players and even YouTube just start refusing to play anything until a reboot. When I press the play button the media will play for a half second and sound will come out but it instantly pauses itself again. Does anyone else have this issue?

These Sony headphones have been driving me nuts other than they have good quality sound. Whenever I listen to music in Spotify I keep getting this message "to use google voice search please unlock your phone" maybe 1-10 times in a row. It's so annoying because pauses my music and screams the message into my ears. I also have problems with songs skipping when this happens and I also think the culprit is the headphone button.
Any clues on disabling the message or the button?

So I have this issue when using my wired earbuds when pausing music and pressing the pause/play button on my wired earbuds to resume playing. There will be a delay of anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds before music starts playing again. If I wake the screen then press the pause/play button on my wired earbuds, it resumes playing instantly.
I experience this issue using Spotify, Deezer, and YouTube Music. I tried making these apps not optimized under the battery settings but the problem persists. Anyone have any solutions to removing this delay when resuming music?
Same issue here haven't figured out a fix.

Works flawlessly for me using the wired earphones that came with my 3a xl (pretty sure only Australian models came with earphones) using omnia music player.
The delay is about half a second. I get about the same delay when using the controls on my Bluetooth DAC as well.
