Pc doesnt recognize my device ?

My laptop doesnt recognize my device. It all happened when i checked an option in development (application option - in settings) with usb connected .... Also tested on another laptop... not working ... is there any solution ??
Charging happens ... but driver installation fails. . .

Same here and i did everything to solve even back to stock but no chance; just charging but usb not recognized... At last i found the below solution by myself... Still i am very confused that what is causing this issue; hardware or software failure?
Solution:
1- Download " Usb Mass Storage Watcher " from market. Install and run then choose " auto mount usb " option and save.
2- In telephone screen, 3845#*920# to enter hidden menu. Go to port setting and set " AP USB " then check retain after reboot and save-reboot
3- After phone reboots, choose mass storage from settings-sd card or applications-development-usb debugging...
4- plugin usbcable and connect phone. Wait a few seconds and then u will see that phone is being recognized by the computer.
5- In phone screen, usb mass storage watcher application may prompt several times so just press save to exit...
6- To disconnect, either disconnect cable directly or deselect mass storage mode or usb debugging... Phone may be unstable temporary while disconnecting usb...

I dont think that it is driver related since the solution i described above is the only way i found to overcome this issue temporary...

Problem solved . ..
just installed LG software update pc suite --- installed the drivers and the phone is back to normal ....

Thanks for starting this thread had a similar issue.
I had the same thing after my phone was Rooted. It then just topped using the stock drivers.

[Q] MTP device!!!!

I have recently bought a Sony xperia micro and I want to download my pics but when I connected my USB cable with my PC, I received a notification telling me that the installation process faild due to the 'MTP device's' access being denied! I urgently need hel;p on this!!!

Go to Settings - Xperia - Connectivity
Changes the USB connection mode to MTP.

[Q] LG P920 USB Debugging Error..!!

Hi friends..!!
I'm having LG Optimus 3D P920. Android Version is 2.3.5. It's factory unlocked but not Rooted. Everything on this phone is working perfect.The only issue is USB DEBUGGING when I try to connect the phone to my PC/ Laptop for data transfer.
--> I've turned the USB Debugging option ON.
--> After that I turned on the Mass Storage option.
--> I even tried it vice verse.
Once the Mass Storage is ON, the USB Debugging automatically turns OFF. If I again turn ON USB Debugging, then Mass Storage turns OFF.USB Debugging[/B] :silly:
I'm looking to upgrade the phone to either ICS or JB, but first of all I need your help in fixing the error related to the USB Debugging.
Please do the needful so that I can proceed further and upgrade the android version.

why do you need usb storage and debug enabled at the same time?
Just copy whatever files you need to your phone and then enable usb debugging after.

When I try to root the phone, it's giving me an warning pop-up!
Please check the image file..any suggestions?

Reason: I'm not able to transfer the data via Mass Storage, nor I'm able to root the phone via USA Debugging.

Can't you:
1. Turn mass storage on - transfer all data that you want
2. Turn usb debugging on - root the phone
?

sorry i didnt read your first post carefully.
if you having problems with usb remove all your lg driver, reboot an install the latest.
if you have the same problem again, read the link in my first post carefully an make the changes on your pc.
so your final target is to upgrade to jb or ics.
for both you dont need a rooted phone or usb debuging or as massStorage.
if prefer ics, it has full 3d support.
for upgrade to ics follow this tutorial

Yuphoria connected to laptop USB not detecting

I purchased a new Yuphoria Mobile. I have not installed sd card nor enabled developer options. When I connect to Laptop the phone is not getting detected. I just want to transfer some music files and I am not interested in enabling developer options or rooting phone. Can I do this? HOW?

I think there was a problem with the connecting USB cable. I tried with a brand new cable and I was able to connect laptop to Mobile. How do I delete this thread. This looks like a silly mistake.

First check with another usb cable. If it is working check with another device. If drivers is a problem. Go to control panel and update drivers. Or delete and allow windows to discover and load drivers online from windows. If it still does not work. Use Windows Dr.Fixit application you can download from windows download. Also update windows 7 with latest security updates. Also Check if your anti virus is updated and it is configured to allow devices connecting to laptop. If not enable it in antivirus settings.
If you determine the problem is not with the PC but could be with the phone. Go to Settings > Sytem > About Phone > Build no. Touch on build no 7 times quickly and it opens up developer options. Enable developer option and try.
When you connect a usb drive if you get a pop up asking connect as 1. Media device, 2.Camera, 3.Charge only. Choose 1.Media device if you choose 3 your computer will not detect the usb.

Hi i can't access my files on my pc (it is unlocked) not even sync for music
also it appears as a audio device in devices and drives

The phone used to work with the same computer and USB cable?

If ur rooted install multirom and install cm13 as secondary os.. then connect to ur pc while ur in cm13 it will detect the driver after that unstall cm 13 and connect as u do normally

oh sorry for not sharing what i did to solve the problem! here is what i did!
1. connect phone to pc
2. unlock
3. swipe down and touch the notification that says "usb for charging touch for more options"
4. select the option you want
