Hi Guys,
Recently, because of a typo, a friend accidentally typed out hand.info on a sentence in whatsapp and sent it.
Now since the phone converted this into a link it automatically also pulled the logo of the site. Now I've been sending links on whatsapp and I've never really seen this happening. Does anyone know when whatsapp decides to pull the logo or an image from the site and include it into a message?
I've added a screen cap of the chat message in question.
Also, if relevant, using a SG Note II N7100 Touchwiz 4.1.2.
Whatsapp version is: 2.11.109

So I have what I thought would be a simple question but I have been unable to find a solution online or in past XDA threads.
I have a Samsung galaxy note 2, with hundreds of sms message w/pictures. Rather then opening the messages one at a time and saving attachment. I am wondering if there is a way, or a tool that could simply scan all of my SMS/MMS messages and strip all the pictures at once into a folder.
Has anybody figured this out?
Hello everyone! I have a problem with my Messenger - There are no any marks which show that the messages were sent and they can't be delivered. It only happens to this user. I have no problems with other users. I'm using Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running Android Lollipop if that matters. Here's an image

Hello all,
I'm having this really weird issue where after I recently wiped and freshly updated my Galaxy S7 Edge to Nougat, I started using Samsung's default messages app to see if I'd like it. Well long story short I decided to switch back to Google Messenger like I always do on every device I've owned, but when I install the app, and set it up. NONE of my SENT messages are imported to the app. Only the RECEIVED messages from my contacts. Every message I've sent to any and all of my contacts AND *some* messages received are just completely missing. I have no way of exporting the messages via the Samsung app to then import into google messenger, and I've tried using third-party apps and Samsung smart switch to backup the messages and then restore them, but they all only see and backup the received messages, and not the ones I sent.
This problem is only for the messages I've sent and received since the day I updated my phone and started using Samsung messages. Any conversations older than that, transfer successfully to google messenger.
I don't think Nougat or the update is the issue, but rather with something in samsung messages. I could really use some help! Thanks!

Hello dear friends. I recently got a HTC u 11. It has no provider branding.
So I got the latest update and notice I can't read SMS in HTCs app. I see the thumbnail text but when I click on it I can't see nothing. Same goes for writing. Can't see text but thumbnail. I already installed AOSP SMS app but I want to use HTCs one.
Thanks
Rene from UK
go into app settings and clear data for messages. should fix it. if not, no idea
Hey guys I created an account just to ask WTH? I have been online with both Verizon and PIXEL support for the last three hours trying to crack this one.
Scenario:
Sending the url for my small website (or any sub page link) will show as sent on my PIXEL but never make it to the recipient. All other text messages received or sent work normally. i.e. group SMS, plain text, media, other major URLs. (facebook, google etc.)
Attempted troubleshooting:
Removed and reinstalled the default Messages app, attempted using Verizon's Message+ app, cleared app data on phone and re-updated the apps.
Specs:
model PIXEL 2016 / iPhone 6
carrier Verizon
both OS are most recent versions.
Update:
I have now also been able to duplicate this problem on my wife's iPhone 6. Thanks in advance for any insights.
I would totally guess it's just some kind of SPAM prevention. Did you try writing any other text in the same text besides just the URL? I would email it, instead.

I agree based on my tests. I'm starting to get more angry that I can send a big site like facebook to everyone I know but not my little site that they asked me to share. I'm currently awaiting a response from Verizon's networking team.
