hi guys,
i have a tablet with ICS 4.0.3 OS. recently the settings icon has changed automatically and every time i taps on it. i get an error message "unfortunately com.android.settings has stopped" . i have tried with factory resetting but with no result. i can not even turn USB debugging ON.
please let me know what should be my approach for fixing the issue.

Few days ago i rooted my Samsung galaxy S 2.2 froyo with z4root and made a Oneclicklagfix well it was working pretty fine and everything, but i think i started messing around with some fonts and suddently it began saying this error all time
"The application Samsung keypad (process com.sec.android.inputmethod.ax9) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
after a while it stops saying therror but instead it kinda freezes and shakes and restart the main screen not the whole phone
i tried Updating the phone with kies but i couldn't because it disconnected everytime it did the main screen restart, i also tried hard resetting the phone with no luck hope that anyone could help

I have a problem like this.
Once i switch on my Samsung Galaxy S phone (GT-I9003) it works properly. i can get calls,sms,bluetooth,wifi...everything works fine. but after 2, 3 hours it will kill some processes automatically and doesn't allow messaging or bluetooth. first it kills bluetooth.then it disable bluetooth.then disable create new messages.im getting messages but cant view them.then it gradually kills some processes and doesnt allow to open them.
some of the processes are
process com.android.mms
process com.android.settings
process com.android.bluetooth
error messages like----->
process com.android.mms has stopped unexpectedly
process com.android.settings has stopped unexpectedly
process com.android.bluetooth has stopped
i did a factory reset.but the problem is still exist.
can anybody please help me on this. do i need to install the OS again?

I would root it and install a custom rom, seems to be a problem with your rom. Look up some info on how to root, I recommend installing CM7 or another rom. This should fix your problem.

Are you installing any special app, i.e. "battery saver", task killer etc.?
I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (P5113), wi-fi only. About a month or so back, I got stuck in a reboot loop, where the tablet would simply reboot itself (almost) constantly. I hadn't installed any new apps or done anything of note to 'trigger' this, that I was aware of. Finally I got fed up and did a system reset.
This seemed to fix the rebooting issue, but introduced a new issue: I would, upon startup of the tablet, get a message that stated: "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly". Everything would work fine after that, except for the small detail that I couldn't open my settings. When I attempted to click on Settings, it would clear to the home screen, but nothing would happen after that.
I assumed I could deal with that for a little while, but we just moved and I needed to get the tablet to connect to our new wifi. Without Settings, I didn't have any way to connect, so I decided to try another factory reset, hoping it would fix the issue. That's left me where I'm at now:
The system boots to the Samsung Setup wizard, but I immediately get that same error "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly", and it's followed by another error, which says "Unfortunately, Samsung SetupWizard has stopped". Therefore, I can't get the tablet running again, in any meaningful way.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really rather not just assume it's broken if it's not, but I'm at a bit of a loss.

Since I got the phone I have been getting the "Process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" along with the "sim not from verizon message".
I dont get this error by making/receiving calls or messages, this error shows up randomly once or twice a day and right after the "Process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" appears and I click "ok", the verizon sim message appears again. Idk if both are related somehow but this is getting very annoying. I have tried erasing the cache of all Phone apps & sim toolkit, wiping cache partition and recently a factory reset with no results. Right now I just click "ok" and the notification removes without anything happening, but before, right after cliking "ok" the phone would reboot.
Does anyone know what else can I do to attempt fixing these issues?
I've also tried searching for the 'activationagent' to at least remove the verizon sim message but its non existant.
