Flashing baseband through recovery

Am so so sorry to ask this question and i dont know if its proper to ask the question,is it possible to flash a baseBAND/radid through recovery.thanks in advance

It is only temporary and you will have to flash it each time you flash a new baseband rom.
If you revert to a old baseband rom, no fix needed.

i think it works in cm9 and should work on cm10 too.:good:

Hey all, had a question for you..I have the Metro PCS Galaxy S3 and am running cm 10..today I updated to the latest nightly build and now the programming is messed up..internet still works, but my phone number isnt correct..any way to resolve this issue? Any help would be appreciated

As u mentioned u flashed or updated to latest nightly of cm10 , U should know dat nightly are very unstable packages with lot of bugs they are jst for dev's and not for daily use purpose , U should again flash ur phone to latest stable cm10

I'll try that..though I remember looking for stable and didnt seem to see one..also without touchwiz you cant use the keypad to program it manually..so not sure flashing any cm10 will help

that didnt work..any links to the stock rom? since that appears to be the only way to do it..or so I read

Found a stock rom..
Ok well found a stock Rom..and put that on..would of reprogrammed it myself but didnt have my MIN# so called Metro and got them to do it..problem solved

Can't Install Custom ROMs

hi guys.
I have problems when installing certain custom ROMS using CWM acording to the Baseband used.
Don't Know why, but when I wanted to install VURRUT KPU again (i had done it several times) Screen keeps on the first image of SAMSUNG SCL I9003 and nothing happens.
I tried to use another custom ROM based on LF2, and when I install it via CWM, it does the same thing, the only difference is that the phone reboots and comes back again to the same SAMSUNG screen.
My phone is galaxy SCL I9003L but i've never had problems installing those ROMs.. It's very strange.
Please if someone could explain me if there is a reason why it's happening this, tell me, i'm a bit scared, using Stock FROYO I9003LUBKB1.

i've been in froyo, GB , ICS and JB.. i know how to flash roms and pass from one to other..
But my problem is when I try to Install VURRUT KPU or MASTER ROM LF2..
I had used VURRUT's before with no problems, but not now, and that is my problem.. I don't know why

Oh so ur phone is i9003L!
I think u can try the qwerty Rom, as far as I remember once LoSco (rom dev) told that his rom can also be used for Argentine version of SL i.e; Galaxy SL i9003L.
To confirm, just ask in that thread once then go for flashing it if he says yes.

Am on stock jb now I downloaded the rom .gaaps. and kernel... but it failed.. I was wondering .. do I have to flash cyanogenmod 10.2 official first then flash .. custom rom or I can just flash the custom rom itself.. please help am on stock now feel weird haha..

What recovery and version are you using. It probably needs to be updated

Never mind i had a bad corrupted file i downloaded again and it work..

have a question about updating friends gs3

hey guys! im pretty good with samsung phones i had the sprint gs3 and gs4 in the past.. well i have a friend that has the verizon gs3.. i rooted it a while back flashed a rom and he has been running it for like 6 momths or more with no problems.. its a 4.2.2 rom.. so how do i go about updating to the new base?? 4.3?? can someone link me to the process.. is there like a firmware/modem i need to flash.. then flash a 4.3 rom>? yes he has twrp recovery and a custom rom now.. can i just flash the new modem the flash a new 4.3 rom? or do i need to do something else..?

Well, if he doesn't have issue with signal, then you shouldn't have to flash the new ML1 modem. If you want to flash it anyway then here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1788313
There are a bunch of custom rom, either TouchWiz custom rom or just custom rom you can choose from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-verizon/development
If you want to stay away from bugs, pick the one that close to stock rom as much as possible.

What is your baseband? If your is already MF1 (I think you are), then just download the ML1 zip and flash it.
