A lot of the blogs use flawed logic and very little evidence to perpetuate rumors just to drive traffic to their sites, not really newsworthy. How about blogs that actually lists verified bugs in existing 4.2.2 that needs to be fixed? Nowhere to be found. Here's one that I'm waiting for a fix on:

So... If the latest speculation has any teeth, we can expect N5 to launch without a press conference or any other fanfare/publicity. Does this just mean it'll show up tomorrow as a device in the Play Store? Or it'll be listed for pre-order? Or something else?

But there was a press even scheduled for it though. Around end of Oct of last year, im really hoping something happens tomorrow, else we'll just have to wait till end of the month. The 2 dates rumored have been Oct 15 and Oct 31, hopefully whenever they do release it, they have it available for sale immediately, dont want to wait another few weeks to have to buy it.

I cannot receive shipments but would like to purchase the Nexus 5 from the Google subsidized price. Could I purchase it at the Googleplex? I would like an answer before I go because it is very far away and would be inconvenient for with to go there with no certainty of a yes.
Make a phone call to them and see.

Pending still.....
So I ordered mine here in Canada on November 1st at like 2:23PM. My order has been pending this whole time and keeps shortening on when it leaves the warehouse, says leaves warehouse by the 26th.
But I got an email saying payment declined, but on my bank statement it says the amount was already taken so technically my money is in the universe because google doesn't have it.
Spent 22mins on the phone with Google just to have the guy tell me that they don't have my money. Called my bank got transferred to a manager turns out the bank authorized the payment but Google sent it back, it was Google wallet that declined my payment!!!
Google should have notified me of return of payment but also the bank was waiting on confirmation of return of payment, now I have to wait up to 5 business days for the money to return to my account and use my other credit card but I have to wait for the money to return because I don't have enough on my other credit card.
Most disappointing thing is my order has been ready this whole time but Google waited 15 days to notify me.
I think Google has it out for Canadians or just our banks.
Only waiting a week? Isn't a week ago the stock say 2-3 weeks or 3-4 weeks depending on configuration. Just keep waiting. After N5 went online on the play store for 24 hours, the wait time has been at least a few weeks. I ordered mine on the morning of Nov1 and it was saying 2-3 weeks, but it just shipped 2 days ago. You may have to wait another week or 2.
