Hi,
So I have searched and searched around for this, but didn't find any answers....
Is there a way I can have notification sounds for when the battery runs low, or when the phone starts up? Because I recently downloaded some Jarvis sound effects and would like to add them, yet I can't find out how?
Thanks

For some reason, I find the ring and notification volumes of the Nexus S too low even in the highest settings. Is there a tweak or a mod available to fix that?
Thanks.
Wrong section.
Volume. 1+5 on the market.
Sorry to dig out this rather old thread but the search only gave me custom rom related infos...
I try to solve this for a friend who owns a completely stock nexus s...
This "volume. 1-5" does not show up on the market, has the name changed?

I have a few problems that occur on every rom I flash.
1. When ever I make a call or call someone, it uses the speaker phone by default.
2. The Car Home app opens randomly and can be annoying.
3. I cant change the media volume when headphones are plugged in.
- The volume is at it's loudest and there is no way for me to change it.
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I would search and check other threads before opening new ones. There is an ongoing conversation about the speakerphone issue and I believe it has to do with GoSMS. Not going into detail here as like I said there is another thread already developed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242116
If your volume is at max then it is at max. Or do you mean since it is at max, you can't lower it? Might also be an issue related to GoSMS. Never heard anyone mention about this before.

Sorry, I searched in the Q&A forum, but I didn't think to search in the General forum. I never used GoSMS so that can't be the problem.
If I plug in head phones and try to listen to music, the volume is always at it's loudest and I cant lower it (tried using volume bottons and in the settings).
I think all these issues have something to do with the Car Home app. Also thanks for your reply.
Edit: I removed the Car Home app from the zip and re-flashed. The media volume problem is fixed now but even though I removed the application, it still says in the notification bar that it's running. And speaker is the default option when I try calling someone.
I have seen people with issues with the car home app. But I can't recall if it was in the inspire section or the desire HD section. Goodluck.
Ok, thanks for trying at least.
Hey guys, so i'm having this huge problem and i would really like it if someone helped me out. So my t mobile lg g2x is having this problem where i can not watch any videos at all. Every time i record a video on the phone's video camera i try to play it back but it always says "Showing on second display" and i can't hear anything unless i plug in my headphones. Also when I'm on youtube, the video seems to be playing but the screen stays black and when i plug in my headphones i can hear the video playing. And it's not that the speakers don't work because i can hear the ringtones perfectly when i receive a notification so idk what's going on... Can someone help me PLEASE????
Sorry man but we need a little more information about your setup if anyone is going to be able to help you. Is your phone rooted? If so, is it stock or have you flashed a custom rom? If so, what ROM? What Kernel? Adjusted the CPU at all? Have you messed with anything lately, dpi values, scripts, mods, etc.
Hi.
Since I have got the phone I have noticed this bug and lately it became constant. When someone calls me, the first second is very low then the sound becomes normal. The same with the texts and other notifications. The first thing to come in mind is the "ascending volume" option.. disabled that and no luck. Sometimes I notice that even when I type, the sound is randomly low and high (or maybe I have just became paranoid...).
I have searched the web and seems like many people have this problem but there is no fix. Some of them uses the app "Disable Increasing Ring" or "Smart Ring Control" and they are happy with that. But in my case it didn't work. Don't know if it is because of incompatibility with the 1+1 or with the CM11S.
If anyone else had this problem please help me figure this out. Thanks in advance.
My device is OnePlus Onewith CM version 11.0-XNPH38R. Not rooted (will root if the fix requires it )
I recently moved from my Xiaomi phone with MIUI to a Samsung phone, and I realise how much I miss the dynamic notification sounds.
What I mean is, every notification has a different sound, typically a sound of nature. This video shows what I mean:
Is there anything I can do or install to reproduce this on my non-MIUI phone? Seems like a simple and clever idea, I'm surprised I haven't found anything like it.
