[Q] a little help getting s-off - HTC One S

I really want s-off so i can update my firmware or radio or whatever it is that makes my phone drop signal whenever it changes between 4g/3g/edge etc.
Everything I've tried hasn't worked. SuperCID. Probably did the OTA update. Can't get Moonshine to work either.
Here are my phone stats.
VLE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-2.15.0000
RADIO-1.13.50.05.31
OPEN DSP-v31.1.0.45.0815
eMMC-boot
I've also attached a fastboot getvar minus my serial number etc.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on what my first step is? Is there an RUU I can flash to do Moonshine S-off?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

This is where I got the RUU from

Or try this:

Good luck.

RUU installation failed.

yesterday I had installed a tmobile ruu. The RUU changed my radio and my hboot. Now I wanted to install my RUU wich i have used at least 3 or 5 times. But it when wanted to run the ruu it says that i have to search a compatible ruu for my phone. but because i have already used the ruu i simply changed the radio to 1.11.50.05.28 but it don't work is it because i have a other hboot?
my ruu: RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.8_Radio_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301814_signed_2_4
my bootloader:
***RELOCKED***
VLE PVT SHIP S-OFF RL

As you're s-off I think you should reflash stock recovery before you will be able to flash any other RUU successfully...
Also it's not necessary to lock/unlock bootloader once you are s-off.

[Q] I need steps to change the firmware for JB and setting to S-OFF

Hi,
My phone (AT&T HTC One XL) is running on a Viper XL 4.2 Rom. Of late I see signal drops (No Service) and random reboots. Could some one please help me with to overcome these issues. I am using this phone in India and the service provider is Airtel.
**I read in a forum that changing the firmware and security setting to S-off would help. If yes could you please guide me on this.
Current phone settings are as below,
***TAMPERED***
***UNLOCKED***
EVITA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.14.0002
RADIO-0.19as.32.09.11_2

Thanks for your help and support.
First you need to find out if you have SuperCID or not. The fastboot command to show your current CID is:
Code:
fastboot oem readcid
If it shows up as 11111111 you have SuperCID, if not you need to get SuperCID first.
Once you have SuperCID you can get s-off, you'll find that thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155071
Once you have s-off you can update your firmware, you'll find the download and instructions in the first post of this thread:

Looks like you've flashed the 2.15 firmware so the Beastmode kernel isn't necessary.

[Q] Reboot loop. Help please

Hi,
I tried to install HTC_One_S_-_MaximusHD_10.0.0 on varioes (wrong?!)ways, but it went realy wrong I think.
Can someone help me to get my phone back to work?
I tried so much that maybe it's better to start with what still works and start from zero?
-I can enter Hboot
-somehow I can't find the phone with adb devices command.
HTC_E11
3.16.401.9
On the Hboot screen I can see this:
***Tampered***
***UNLOCKED***
VLE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-2.15.0000
RADIO-1.15.50.05.29
OpenDSP-v31.1.0.45.0815
eMMC-boot

I tried to restore with RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.8_Radio_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301814_signed_2_4.exe
This program seems to find the phone, but I need the same kind of program i think but 3.16.401.9 instead of 3.16.401.8.
Anyway, thanks very much in advance.
Would be very much appriciated!!

You're in the wrong forum, this is the Ville C2 forum. Allow me to redirect you to the Ville forum. :good:
Since you're S-ON, we need to know what your CID is... I think you should find in in bootlloader.
Another option is to get S- OFF and then you are able to use any RUU you want
And what goes wrong when trying to go back to stock?
Do you get any error messages?

I believe that's true only for RUUs older than Jelly Bean, JB RUUs do not accept other CIDs (also no super CID).
But I might be wrong!
