I'm having a quite annoying and weird issue.
I imagine it'll be good to know that I use Chrome.
Every time I reply to a topic (Now that I think of it, it may not be every time, but say at least 90% of the time, probably more), I get the error message below. This does not seem to happen when I post new threads.
This forum requires that you wait 20 seconds between posts. Please try again in 19 seconds.
Thing is, it does post my post perfectly fine. It's as if it tries to do it twice, and the second one gets denied because, well, the first one went through and is posted. I thought it was just a small hickup on my end at first, but its been doing this for days now.
Edit: Another, probably related, issue. When I edit posts it gets stuck with the "loading" cursor. Chrome runs fine other than XDA, and nothing crashes. It just loads until infinity. If I just hit back, or navigate back to the same place I was posting, my post is there. It's as if the redirect just fails.
The reason I am posting this here, despite it most likely being a Chrome-issue, is that I only experience issues on XDA. Nowhere else do I have problems at all.
Any ideas?

So I flashed my phone to the HyperDragon III ROM a few months ago. Everything works smoothly and I had no problems at all. Only small issue was the keyboard lag and that issue was addressed in a separate post.
After using the Keyboard Lag fix, my phone does not fully load. I get to the splash screen and everything and then the Start Bar loads as well as the bottom Calender and Contacts menu. The screen will display my background and it will say "Tap Here to launch TouchFlo". I tap there and nothing happens.
I've been patient and I let it sit there and nothing happens. I can get to my text messages but it runs unusually sluggish and will display an overview of all messages but when I try to open a specific message, it freezes up.
This is actually the second time this has happened. The first time I removed the Keyboard Lag CAB but the issue continued. I left the phone alone and reset it a few times and miraculously it started working fine.
I have since removed the Keyboard Lag CAB completely yet it has still happened. Anybody else have the same problem or have a solution? Any help would be great.
Never flashed HDIII rom's so I have no idea why you are having that problem. Have you already post this issue on the rom's threat?

Not on the HDIII thread. I did originally post my problem on the Keyboard Lag thread. 10 minutes after posting the first time my phone went back to normal so I went back and edited the post.
So try it on the HDIII threat. That's the best where you can get help related with that rom.
Also, maybe some other user had already that problem and have some solution or is waiting for some. Ah, before post the question, that some time to read the full threat... your answer can be already there.
Thanks. I just figured I would post. I've been reading the thread for a while now. Its over 900 pages so I thought I would ask first
You can also try to do a search on that threat http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3102963&nojs=1#goto_threadsearch
Happy New Year
So my phone just started working again. After about an hour or so of resetting and stuff it displayed Lauching TouchFlo and its normal again. I'm just afraid to ever turn it off again.
did anyone solve this problem?! cause mine just randomly stopped launching touchlo and I dont know how to get out of it?!
Closing thread
Please post issues with HyperDragon rom in the HyperDragon thread, instead of opening new ones.
Peace,
Joshua
First off, there are other threads on this topic but none of them seem to have an answer, and if you find an answer please post a link instead of telling me to search more.
Sometimes the phone randomly becomes unresponsive, its not with any certain app or anything, it just randomly happens. Usually pressing the sleep button and turning it off and on fixes it. It started in Android Revolution a while ago, stopped, and then came back a month later, I wiped everything and installed MIUI hoping this would solve my problem, well it didn't.
current setup
CWM 3.0.2.6
MIUI 1.7.8v1
FULL WIPE
CATTLEPROD KERNEL NOT OVERCLOCKED
DEFAULT THEME
Like you stated there are other threads on this. Please use them instead of opening a new one. There are many things that can lead to lag. I would look for others on the same rom as you and compare.

I noticed a week or two ago that Advertisements appeared between the first and second posts of a thread. No problem there... it's a great site and the people that run it should obviously get some ad revenue for their efforts.
However today, whenever I load a thread, it pulls up the first post, then pauses, displaying in lower lefthand corner "waiting for googleleads.g.doubleclick.net"
The pause lasts between 5-30 seconds. During that period, I cannot see anything past the first post in the thread.
Has anyone else seen this?
Working ok here. It is most likely an issue that can happen from time to time depending on the server load.
Use an ad blocker like Ad Muncher.

I purchased a refurbished (wifi only) model. The problem occurred from day .
The system will freeze after about 5 minutes and sometimes simply reboots, even when it's not being used.
I have done a factory reset and booted to safe mode but problem persists.
I think it is a hardware issue, but what should I look for or tell a repair tech?
I have the exact same problem. Anyone have any further information?

Same problem here. Would be nice to get a solution.

Read the threat " Flickering Screen" but only a last few pages as previous pages have no helpful information with many guessing solutions.
@Beut, could you please give a link to the thread "Flickering Screen"?
In various other threads people are refered to that thread, but neither by googling nor by searching the forum I could find it.
Thanks in advance!

Boy, this thread got sidetracked quickly. Mostly because you asked a REALLY IMPORTANT question. Once it got sidetracked, no one came back to address your original concern.
So here is what I know.
1. If your system becomes unresponsive - meaning any icon you tap on nothing happens, even when pressing the big button in the bottom center - tap the power button. It shuts the sceen off. Then hit the oval button, unlock the screen. It should work.
2. The random reboots probably means something has been changed or knox has been tripped. Possibly the device may have been rooted/unrooted once. It probably is a google thing. I personally HATE google+. Try to clear the davlik cache. It is located in /data/dalvik-cache - in the root area, if using Total Commander. You have to have root. Delete everything in this directory then do an immediate restart. On restart, android will rebuild each caching file for each current app, it may take a minute or two, but there will be a progress message all along.
Try those things
Do any of you guys have the Verizon or the SIM card LTE version?
If that is a YES, believe that I can help you.
(Regarding OP's WiFi model, I think that one needs to be replaced or returned)

I posted this under Motorola Edge Questions, but it may be an Android 11 question so I'm posting it here as well. If I'm posting incorrectly just tell me and I'll try to get it right.
I have a new Edge and like it very much. One thing is annoying though. Every time I boot up I get a long list of apps showing which are allowed to display over other apps and which are not. I don't need to see this every time I start my phone. I have contacted Motorola support multiple times and searched the net for a way to stop this list from appearing, but haven't found a solution. I admit this isn't the end of the world, but if anyone knows how to stop this unnecessary list from appearing I'd like to know.
Thanks
