Here is the guide on how to speed up samsung galaxy s duos but your device should be rooted. If you have not rooted your phone yet you can do this by following this guide:-

1. Remove all the apps that you don't want.
2. Download Seeder app from here:-

It will reduce the lag.
3. Download the KyleOpen ROM Kernel OC1 kernel from here and flash it with CWM recovery.

4. Download setcpu or no-frill app from playstore and overclock your cpu
To 1.2 ghz it will run fine but you will need to flash the kernel before
5. Download a app from google play that clears cache like clean master.
Your Galaxy s duos will be faster than ever

I have installed custom rom Aroma ICS Fusion on my galaxy y duos and its showing android 4.0.4 version also but i still cant run the cool apps like subway syrf or bbm or any other apps which are made for android 4.0 . I got reply abt downloading g packages from ICS thread but i cant find it. So please help me sooner.

Hay... Bro
some Custom roms are made for just look like ICS or jelly bean .. they don't have updated firmware packages which is required to run latest apps like bbm .
That custom rom is not have ics firmware its only looks like ics...
Talking about the 4.0.4 showing in your phone , It's fake. Anyone can easily changed it through build properties
I also have Galaxy y Duos . I cant install BBM but Subway surfer easily run in my phone...

Try installing seeder and chainfire 3d to reduce ur lag
It will help u to run some games..

I didnt installed chainfire 3D bcoz its description says it is only for 1Ghz processor mobile and mine is 832Mhz. And ya what is seeder? Tell me abt it pls.
Also tell me if there is any firmware available which can run bbm or similar higher OS apps in my galaxy y duos?

I am using subway surfer made for arm6 devices .. Our galaxy y duos is also ARM6 Device which has less frequency ...

There are many wesites for games on armv6 devices.Mine too armv6,I can play subway sufr,gta 3 ,gta racing much more smoothly like on arm v7 devices:thumbup:

I've tried android 4.1.2 and 4.2 and 4.3 and earlier today I flashet The kitkat 4.4.4 developes by arter .. But all of them were laggy and slow .. Do anyone know A custom rom for galaxy s3 GT-I9300 which is fast and has a good UI ?

I have lg p920 . It is stock ics and rooted. But I have ram issue. Sometimes ,it is very laggy.apps are closing very quickly. I am opening opera mini,then whatsapp or tapatalk ,when I back opera mini,it is closed.so,I am searching a good rom without ram issue. My ex-phone was htc explorer and I don't have ram problem(it is 512mb) .
on lg p920,I tried cm11 ,jb pacman but they are buggy and there are internal or external sdcard problems.please suggest a good and fast rom.thank you. I'm Sorry ,my English is poor
