Here is the guide on how to speed up samsung galaxy s duos but your device should be rooted. If you have not rooted your phone yet you can do this by following this guide:-
http://www.droidiser.com/2012/10/how-to-root-samsung-galaxy-s-duos-install-cwm.html?m=1
1. Remove all the apps that you don't want.
2. Download Seeder app from here:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987032
It will reduce the lag.
3. Download the KyleOpen ROM Kernel OC1 kernel from here and flash it with CWM recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087177
4. Download setcpu or no-frill app from playstore and overclock your cpu
To 1.2 ghz it will run fine but you will need to flash the kernel before
5. Download a app from google play that clears cache like clean master.
Your Galaxy s duos will be faster than ever

mistake
its a galaxy y S5360 forum not GALAXY sdous 7562.....delete this and make new on right forum
Wrong place...
Plus..if they flash that kernel...they may end up with a bricked device....
I have tested the kernel on my phone.

Proof?
AFAIK...
Kernel of other phones doesnt work on this phone
If it works
Then we galaxy y users r now using franco kernel from nexus 4 siyah kernel from s3 and others

1st make sure the ROM & kernel are actually designed to work with your device, and that you have not overclocked the CPU.

Could be to high an OC or to low voltages if the kernel comes pre UV... did you do a dirty flash or a clean install... try wiping cache and davlik

You can speed up your device by using a custom rom, a custom kernel and maybe some mods/scripts. Just have a look at the Galaxy Ace 2 thread. You should find something there. Another addidional Option would be deleting unnecessary system apps that slow down your device. Apps2Rom is an app you can use for this.
