Hi all,
I've updated my HTC One X to Sense 5.
What I loved about Sense that my favorite contacts were displayed on the lockscreen, and I could call them directly from there, but I can't find the option to do that in Sense 5.
Am I missing something? I looked all over and but didn't find anything.

I've got an HTC desire, and recently flashed Cyanogenmod. But, the only thing that I miss from Sense UI, is the photo album widget, the one where you could swipe away all your photos. Is there any identical alternative to that, or is it possible to install it into my new rom? Ive tried some Google Play widgets, but not quite the same as the Sense's one

i just want to know if the toggle widgets of htc sense like the wifi,data, bluetooth etc can be ported as .apk file so that we can use it in a different launcher..is that even possible?
my basis is the 2x1 htc sense clock that was converted as .apk..
can someone do it?

I have two phones: HTC Wildfire S (Stock ROM 2.3.5) and HTC Desire C (Nameless ROM 4.0.3)
Both of them have HTC Sense at the moment.
I removed HtcLockscreen.apk and now I have default Android lockscreeen.
The problem is that the lockscreen appears when I get incoming calls and it is very frustrating.
I don't have configuration menu for that lockscreen.
I don't want any installable locker applications, I want default Android lockscreen.
Any help will be well appreciated.

any thing is possible with a nexus device but it needs sense frame work for it to work some one would need to port them i think long hard job imo
You could always also install a theme with icon base close to what you're looking for - in the short term. Clearly it won't be the same quality as say porting from Sense UI as mentioned above but it's an option for now.
If you're just wanting the default utility apps to match Sense, that's what would be fastest/easiest

As far as i know team venom ported the Sense 6 prism/rosie and i was wondering if anyone could port other apps too
I mean HTC Music, Message ...
Or at least just show me a GUIDE or sth to figure out how to do it myself

Search the thread with sense 6 apps ported, started by Ashutos1997. There is a zip with WorldClock, weather app, Htc servicepack and blinkfeed. I'm using Blinkfeed from HOX formus, the one ported for 4.2, because it of the resize/dpi. It looks better on our screen, and you can change the colours. Those apps are working on android 4.4.4 I did not manage to get Htc Music app working, but there are alternatives, Apollo player which can be themed like sense 6 player, or NexMusic player. The only apps that i'm missing from sense are dialer/contacts/phone and the htc weatherclock widget.

those apps are for 4.4+ Android but i wanted to put them in a ViperS 5.2.1 i dont want ZOE or GALLERY
i just want Music and Message, just these two
