hello there!
i just want to know if the toggle widgets of htc sense like the wifi,data, bluetooth etc can be ported as .apk file so that we can use it in a different launcher..is that even possible?
my basis is the 2x1 htc sense clock that was converted as .apk..
can someone do it?

i am currently using the virtuous 2.5 rom and have been trying out skyraider vanilla and wanna switch to it except i cant seem to give up the clock widget. is there anyway to get it on the other roms? i prefer other roms to the stock sense i just cant get over the clock as weird as that sounds.

No not weird at all. I'm the same way. At last some one that understands. I've been using Beautiful Widgets very similar. Not the clock and weather toggle. I bought that and it wasn't quite up to par. No raindrops on the glass or clouds and thunder. Beautiful Widgets was worth the money though. I was going to check this Digital Clock out too. Just haven't yet. If you try it let me know how you like it.

The sense widgets REQUIRE sense framework and the rosie launcher.
There was an app that was pulled from the market called 'Fancy Widget'. All I will say is that it was pulled via C&D by HTC themselves for being 'too similar' to the proprietary clock widget you are looking for.
"Fancy Widget" Google is your friend.

Yeah Fancy Widget is the one run by the Weather and Toggle app you have to buy to make it run. Not really what the sense clock is like. I liked the Beautiful Widgets way better. You can play with different skins till you find one that suits you and the Boca weather skin is just like the sense weather.
Actually. That is not correct. Fancy Widget is different and you can Google it. I use it because you can set if to update more frequently. If the stock app updated every 30 minutes like you can set Fancy Widget to do I would still be using it...

what about other HTC widgets? I would love to use LauncherPro but I have to have the HTC Photo Album widget to show off my new baby girl. I know there are other photo widgets and I have tried almost all of them but none can compare to the HTC. Please help I am sick of using the rest of Sense....
Every HTC specific widget cannot be run on any Launcher except Rosie and cannot be ported without making an exact replica with the same images like Fancy Widget. People need to realize this and stop asking.
There is a separate Widget named Fancy Widget, it was pulled from the Market, because... IT IS EXACTLY the same as HTC clock, they literally copied the images. It is wonderful, a little more flexible, and can be setup to check more often, and launch whichever clock and weather app you choose when you touch.... Only thing it does not do is animations. Google "Fancy Widget apk" and really look as stated prior if you want the HTC clock...

As for anyone missing other HTC widgets... support Launcher Pro and purchase Launcher Pro Plus, the widgets are very comparable... and the guy has written a wonderful piece of software... so pay the 2.99!!
I just downloaded Fancy Widget 1.3 and it is basically the same exact thing as the HTC Sense Clock widget but it allows you to configure what application it launches when you hit the weather icon, date or time. I just installed it and haven't seen if it does the weather animations but I could care less about that.
i flashed something and i lost the htc stock clock app and music player. I like the stock clocks i have the widgets but no app. So i was hoping if anyone could send me either or. Thanks

there is the htcmusic apk. as far as the clock goes, do you know the actual name of the apk? the only htc clock i can find in any of the files i have is htc clock widget. let me know if you would like me to upload that one and you can try it.

u can use widgetlocker & use sense style + add calender widget on the lockscreen
Well, i using it now, but not with the sence thing..it makes it look weird... but the normal theme is pretty nice.. better then having nothing

So far it has been very difficult to port sense Widgets across major version changes and framework revisions. I'm not saying its not possible, but the absence of such mods in the wild is a silent answer to your question. The flip clock remains one of HTC's most desirable and most fiercely guarded assets... Revised across every platform upgrade and usually tied down to the specific framework that it is built for.
Hope you find a way to change that.

Search the thread with sense 6 apps ported, started by Ashutos1997. There is a zip with WorldClock, weather app, Htc servicepack and blinkfeed. I'm using Blinkfeed from HOX formus, the one ported for 4.2, because it of the resize/dpi. It looks better on our screen, and you can change the colours. Those apps are working on android 4.4.4 I did not manage to get Htc Music app working, but there are alternatives, Apollo player which can be themed like sense 6 player, or NexMusic player. The only apps that i'm missing from sense are dialer/contacts/phone and the htc weatherclock widget.
