Update your youtube app to latest version the go into settings and manage application click all then scroll down to browser and click on it and click clear data . Then go to youtube app in the same settings and also clear data . Hopefully this will solve your problem

New problem all of a sudden. When I try to play video from a web page such as ESPN, my browser crashes and the phone returns to the home screen. My clock screen, not the browser home screen.
I have to reboot the browser and reload the page that I was viewing. I am running the stock browser on a bone stock unrooted Inspire. Any thoughts or similar problems ?

Thanks, I already had Flash player, but I installed the update, went to veiw a video and browser crashed again.
Go to settings/applications/manage apps/all, click on internet, clear cache and data.
OK so my question is why only sometimes when i click a YouTube link via Chrome browser or tapatalk it will pull the browser up(YouTube .com and play it instead of the YouTube app. And no way to make it play in app besides having to add to fav and watch after i pull up the app.
On my phone (us GS2 att) it will pull the same link i touch in the app instead.

Sounds like your browser is acting as the default player, try going into settings -> applications -> browser then 'clear defaults'. Next time you click a youtube link it should ask you what app you want to play it with, select the youtube app and check the box labelled remember this selection.
I am using Karbonn A7 which I bought today only.
It is good in all features but I have one problem.
Whenever I am trying to open a page having a video which is not embedded from youtube, the browser automatically closes.
Let me put it in this way, when I opened dailymotion and clicked on a specific video, the page opened but when the video page fully loaded and I clicked on the video to play, then the browser automatically closed.
I tried in both the stock android browser and also with the Dolphin HD browser.
Can anyone please help me to solve this issue?
Did u download Adobe flash from store..

This is really annoying.
Anytime I have an opportunity to view a video (Facebook for instance) I click on the YouTube video link and a list of "default" apps pops up. But NOT INCLUDED in this list is the YouTube app. All three browsers that are installed appear but no YouTube app. This forces me to select one of the browsers which then navigates to Youtube.com which will play the video in browser mode.
Is there any way to associate the Youtube app to this list of Default apps.
Note:
If I go into the Applications Manager and select any of the browsers and youtube app, the Clear Defaults is greyed out. So it's not as easy as clearing the default app associations and reapplying them.
Running MIUI 2.2.24 on HTC Sensation
Select a web browser from the options it gives you, then it will ask you if you want to open it in the youtube app.
Happened to me, cleared Sense data and cache and voila!

Hi guys.
I need some help with my tablet. It cannot play videos on offical Youtube app (on Google Play). There's only sound, no video.
I tried reinstall Adove Flash and update it to the latest version but it isn't work.
I guess that's the app error, if i use chrome or the default browser youtube plays fine.
Please help me if you could, i am using Vido N90 FHD with 4.1.1 stock rom from Yuandao.

Let's see if this helps - go into Settings -> Applications ->All tab
Scroll down to YouTube - tap it. If running, Force Stop - then Clear data - then Clear cache.
Next - relaunch YouTube - and report back if this fixed anything or not.
Cheers..

so bad, it's still showing black screen.
It's weird that it still play audio from that video.
If I watch Youtube from the default Browser the video played fine.
Thanks for the advice anyway. Any more advice?
