Question: please is there any way to unlock galaxy note 10.1 (sch-i925) 4G US Cellular. Am stucked, i cant use the device where i am except on wifi but not 4G. And i don't want to sell it. am ready to pay for the unlocking if needed.

You can use the tool from AdamOutler

If you anly gain root access you are oke no need to unlock te bootloader that may bring you into trouble as I got see:

When you have root access you need to add your subscriber to the APN list apns-conf.xml this file is placed /data/etc/
i used this list as a start http://code.google.com/p/piraterum/...e/system/etc/apns-international-conf.xml?r=47
You can use the app root browser to put the file in place.
There are also way's to re enable the APN editor of your Note but this din't work out verry well for everyone. So above way is more safe I.M.O. for more info see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2044449

thanks for the post. Am sorry to say i have bricked my note 10.1 sch-i925. please anyone with solution should help. the device just went into odin mode i.e download mode. i was trying to casual to unlock it. it's carrier is us cellular. thanks in advance.

I Odin cwm recovery. The one that is locked down....then from there installed cm 10-2 nightlys and I use my tablet on uscellar network to make calls text everything ....email me 951stupid1 at gmail.com more ddetails...

I rooted using frameroot, then download root browser ....give root access ...then renamed /system/recovery-from-boot.p to something else.any thingdont matter ...save....the flash ....with Odin... http://m4.androidfilehost.com/download.php?fid=23011596498370946 PDA.... then download ..this Rom....... bellow attatched
and now have CWM. u can find help ..here...and the Rom with working camera download...

Can any one here has a recovery rom for SCH-I925u Us Cellular..Or any stock rom for odin flashing I brick my my note..some of the recovery for this SCH-I925u US Cellular but it's always failed..Please help how to revive my tablet..Newbie here

I'm glad that my GN 10.1 are back to life I send it to Samsung for warranty and they replace my PCB for free...Now what is the safest method to root this device that won't bricked my device...Step by Step please newbie here and I'm proud of it..My techno lust is getting rusted...

thanks for your previous post. I have rooted my note 10.1 (sch-i925) using framaroot; also install root browser, pls where will i locate the boot.p file that you said i should rename? Secondly, can i still use casual to unlock. i just want to use other network apart from US cellular.

Us Cellular stuck on reboot

but no reply ,im stuck as my us cellular i925 keep reboot on the startup screen since i tried rooting it and installing a new Rom on it ,
please if you or anyone else can help with a step by step instructions ,as im afraid i will totally brick my tab...thanks ,please help!:crying:

I bricked my SCH-I925U when I used CASUAL method..
Does your problem is blinking white and black screen after you power it on?
If you press power_volume up does it goes automatically to Odin download mode?
Thats my problem when bricked it.
And ODIN flashing tool doesn't help for NAND writing error..
What i do is I registered the device on Samsung and call their Customer rep and I say that It hangs and I don't know what to do..
If it is covered for warranty they will assist you how to ship back to them for repair..
hope your binary count is not triggered but my system status is custom..

Hello, I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Core Plus (I am writing about this issue here since I haven't found any section related to Galaxy Core Plus). Some days ago my phone told me that there was a system update available, so I performed it. Everything was OK but now, sometimes, about 5 times a week, my phone reboots itself with no reason. It happens when I'm not using it, when it is locked. When it happens, I want to unlock my phone and it requests to enter PIN number after reboot... What could be the reason and how could I solve it? Thank you very much for your help!
If might be the case that the file you downloaded can be corrupted. You can ask Samsung service centre for help or can yourself download the whole firmware and flash it in your device

That is odd. I've never seen that before. Did you take the OTA recently or did the phone come with NE1?

NE1 is the baseband under about phone. I truly have no idea why that menu comes up

This menu is called "Factory Mode." You need root access to remove the popup, watch this youtube video and learn.
Edit: Obtain root access using TowelRoot then use a file explorer that has root access to perform this function. I suggest ES File Explorer.
I have samsung Galaxy S4 (i9505) bought from UAE and living in LEbanon. I was trying to update the software to Lollipop using the odin and the UK based lollipop version and then i got the error "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recover mode in Kies and Try again.
I tried connecting to Kies but not being able to connect
So i tried to flashing using the 4.4.2 Lebanon version but i got the message that i need the PIT File. I have added that and then i got another message as per attached.
First of all could you lease explain to me what went wrong in first place. Is it the lollipop version that i used or because the phone was not rooted.
Secondly and most important can any one help me to resolve the issue. What is wrong in what i am doing. Is it the PIT version ??

Hello,
A friend gave me a retail Samsung Galaxy A5 from a shop and i wanted to know if there is any possible way to make it a regular phone.
Everything's working actually except from the fact that it doesnt recognise any Sim Card and the Call app "that Green Phone image" that any android has it's missing.
So ita can be used as a "tablet" but not as a phone.
I tried routing the phone but it didnt worked.
Any ideas?
Will flashing a custom ROM solve the issue?
If so can you please give me the steps in doing so.....

I also got the same phone with missing dialer and network option am thinking of flashing it with new firmware. But if u got any suggestion jux let me know. As i am eager to see this phone work.
