Can anyone tell me why when I do a cwr backup the time is different than my current time. Also after a reboot my clock shows london time and date for a few seconds before my time is shown ????
hi,
sorry if I misplaced the thread but the ten post rule won't let me post in the official Ginger Villain thread.
I'm running GV 2.8 (plus 2.8 HAVS + CFS kernel) on a rooted htc desire, I'm loving this rom but I'm also experiencing a couple of issues.
First of all: when in day view, the stock calendar isn't showing event names for ten days after today. this happens only for full-day events and not for time limited events. I can see the colored bars showing event names for today, but if I slide to tomorrow - and the days after - all I get are the colored bars with no text.
second, but far less annoying: I'm using GO sms pro instead of stock sms app, and each time I reboot I keep receiving status bar notifications for sms I have already read. I tried uninstalling GO sms and the problem disappeared, but it started again as soon as I installed it back.
any help or suggestion? thanks in advance.
1. I recently installed MONSTER$ - Build 3. Everything is fine until i restart my mobile. Every time i restart i is displaying notification of my missed calls and messages i sent till then as not sent.
To be more clear.. if i sent 5 sms to my friends all re getting delivered properly but if i restart my mobile then i'm getting a notification saying all these 5 messages are not sent and they are turning as not sent in my sms app also. Along with this i'm also getting all missed call notifications again and again every time i restart. Please help..
2. unfortunately i don't have fm app in MONSTER rom. i don't whether i unchecked some option during installation. can some one tell me how to get it from stock rom. i have FMradio.apk from my stock rom and i can get any other file if needed from stock rom.
i tried placing this fmradio.apk into my ststym>apk and restarted but nothing happend.
Thanks you for your valuable replied in advance

Having the same problem !!
I'm having the same issue, it's off by 1 minute to up to more than day. I'm using custom DPI (420) and Cataclysm ROM with Elementalx 6.04. Reboots don't fix it, but when I dirty flash the rom it becomes for sometime (a few hours) until it goes back to a different time again
Me too have the same problem after Android update. I have not changed anything else.. Is it solved for you desaics?
Same issue here. consistently the error is occurring. I am in India and the network is Airtel. Had to fix the time manually. It is off by 1 and half hours.. Morning, the time displayed on the phone was 4:34am whereas it was actually 5:59am.
Seeing this weird issue post upgrade to Marshmallow.
Is there a fix for this problem ??
Solution
The battery optimiser option causes the bug here.
Go to Settings > Battery > Options (3 dots) > Battery Optimization > All apps > Clock > Don't optimize.
Hope this solves the problem until the bug is fixed by Google.
I had a widget in home screen which shows world time.
I removed it and I am not seeing the problem for past one week

Title says it all. I don't mind manually downloading MMS messages since I don't leave data on, but they end up showing the time stamp as the time I download them, not the time they were sent to me. Makes things confusing if I'm going back to read things later on...
Is there a way to switch the time stamps back to the time they were sent to me? I already have my messenger set to display messages with time sent, and not time received, but this doesn't seem to apply to MMS.
Is there an app or something I can use to fix them back to proper order if I can't download them right away?
I'm on a galaxy s7
