Hello,
I just successfull root this phone with Framaroot !
It's a MT6572 Chipset.
For root go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276 and take Framaroot-1.6.1.apk
PS : The initial app are in /custpack folder.
Next step : Unlock bootloader ? and found a working recovery ? maybe that ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2458544 but it doesn't boot locked bootloader ?

Battery life is not too bad, around 1.5 or 2 days

I see. Anyway, feel free to share your experience with the phone. Thank you in advance.

This phone is one of the best phone regarding the battery I have ever had.
And new Alcatel firmwares contain this new cool SONY-Stamina-like feature:

I can really recommend this phone.

Too bad the battery is non removable. Perhaps TCL/Alcatel expect us to throw the phone once the battery dead.

I have done all off that....
No luck at all.
It's quite strange the lack of parts for this phone. I'm guessing that "Sharp" only gave the brand...but the hardware is from someone else.
I've already found out that the phone has the following names:
-Sharp A1
-Sharp Z2
-Sharp Aquos Z2
or even
FS8002.
Neverthless....i don't find lcd/digitizer/screen for it.
Thanks!

Unbrick my phone?
OMG !
I own a sharp (fs8002) and playing around with it i was trying to root it, unlock the BL and install twrp so i can finally install a custom rom.
With not much info about this low supported phone, i used SP FlashTool and managed to erase everything from it. It is not responsive at all, i don`t see fastboot anymore , no revocery no nothing. SP Flashtool identify the device once plugged as mediatek usb port (com9) but i can not find anywhere the necessary files to UNBRICK it so to make it usable once again!
Is there someone who can help me revive and use this two months old phone ?

The stock rom at the Taiwan website (see my earlier post!) is an update-package. It contains a scatter-file that is not suitable for the flashtool...maybe someone can help with that. My guess is that it just does not have the proper format for flashtool. So someone should check that. The firmware seems to be complete, it's 2.1 Gigabyte. I applied the package via update from SD, it works:
Kernel-Version: 3.18.22+ Mon Sep 5 22:19:47 CST 2016
Build Number: NEXCNFN5801509051S release-keys

I managed to download the update firmware file from taiwan website (TSP-1360-0-00WW-A03-update.zip) witch is a 1.92 gb file , but as you said the scatter file contained there is not recognized by SP Flash tool.
Is there a way to make a scatter file for fs8002 with a MT6797 chipset so i can proceed with the flashing ?

After following all the instructions, my phone still boots into standard Chinese recovery. Is it something to do with the locked bootloader or is there possibly another problem? There doesn't appear to be a purple bar when flashing the recovery. Maybe it's not the correct one for 20170926?

New device : Gome K1

Hi,
I am a little new and don't really know about this subject but :
I purchased a new phone : a Gome K1.
This is not tablet but phone. This is a new brandt. This a MTK (MT6757).
For the story, it came to me with chinese ROM, all menus in chinese
I asked to the seller to give me a ROM with playstore and french. They done it.
I flashed their new ROM with a proprietary flash tool. Now I have a android 6 ROM with Playstore, french menus. Well !
But I'd like to know if there is a way to root it, and install a TWRP :
The ROM came with bootloader locked and no recovery. It is entirely blocked.
No way to unlock bootloader via the general way (fastboot oem unlock --> unknown command)
I read some articles that deal with spflashtool and porting TWRP, but I'm new to this and I don't think I will be able to make all these steps correctly to flash a TWRP ...
Does someone has an idea ?
Is my post on the good topic ?
Up, does someone have an idea of how to root it ?
Hello,i also have a Gome K1 phone and I am also interested at rooting it.
There is an ' OEM unlocking option' under the developers option in the settings, have you tried that yet?
If you managed to import twrp and rooted the phone can you pls send here the steps, Thanks
Hello, happy to not be alone with this phone ...
Yes I tried everything, after enabling unknown source, OEM unlocking and USB Debugging developer options :
- All root apks
- all existing root kits using ADB
- Method with a linux distro to access Phone filesystem as root ( cannot see my phone ... )
Now I'm trying to use SP flashtool last version, but even that cannot correctly access the phone to Readback my recovery : there is BROM error, so I think that phone is not compatible with the phone (seen on a forum ...)
So if someone has an idea, he is welcome

When I contacted them, they send me a non rooted custom ROM which embed Google Apps and All language, AND another flash tool.
This flash tool seems to be based on SP flash tool. It seems to have restrictions (no readback ability ...).
I'm not able to backup anything with this tool or with SP flash tool.
Whis spflashtool, when clicking ReadBack, I power off my phone, and plug USB cable.
It begins the process but I immediatly encounter a BROM error :
ERROR: status_brom_cmd_send_da_fail (0xC0060003)
I read a post which indicate to try to plug usb cable when pressing Power plus Volume Up, but I don't think it can work, because I know that their tool works without that operation.
So now I'm still stuck here. Does someone have an idea ?
Hi
On the Russian forum 4pda, the topic GOME K1 we are also discussing and trying to solve the problem of a locked bootloader. So far no results. ROOT is also not yet possible to get.
I've also ported twrp for GOME K1, but there's no point in installing it until the bootloader is unlocked. Otherwise we will get a brick.
Hi
In Developer options there is a setting to unlock bootloader, it's the third toggle down.
Hope this helps.

Hello vsxby,
I was successful in flashing custom ROM that vendor uploaded for me.
So I thing I can flash just the recovery with their tool. I'm not an expert, so I'm just a little affraid to follow a guide to port a TRWP for Gome K1 and try to flash it, since it can brick the phone.
If you want, I can't send you a copy of their tool they sent to me (SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe) ...

Thank you, but I already have this tool. As I wrote before flashing TWRP we need to unlock the bootloader. While this is not impossible to do. But one of our users on 4pda is going to ask the manufacturer to unlock bootloader. In case of success, I will inform you.
If you want to experiment and flash TWRP with a locked bootloader, I can give you the TWRP I made, but I warn you, it's not safe.
Bro,Can you upload the firmware and tools to google drive or something like? It will be very helpful for dealing with this mediatek replica phone(aus6757_66_m),i got some possible factory test MTK AOSP,but the link expires :(

Good luck .

For flash you need :

I unlocked the bootloader 3 weeks ago. Beyond that, I've had a hard time making any other progress. Kinda worried to take risky steps since barely anyone has this phone. I feel all alone in the in the rooting community with this device ?

Hello. Well thank you for helping myself and others with this device. A Sony device is very new to me. I usually would use the stock kernels on HTC and Samsung phones, but I know it's different with these devices. If you get a working kernel, could you give instructions how to install.. Thank you

For install you need adb and fastboot
adb and fastboot drivers
drivers for your phone
cable
brain
time
Know/How about fastboot commands Sometimes you can try to use flashtool for install boot .
Probably a silly question as I haven't used Android until recently since 2009, but how do you know whether your device is I31XX or I41XX?...

Phone Corrupted
My phone was corrupted when I installed the .bin file using FlashTool. Any advice on how to restore it?

Also opening the official Sony Flash Program (Emma) yields a "No Matching Services" error, with the code: 19be779c-f8da-46e6-b8c3-eff31b39b980
Is there someone who tested? Want to do it, but without actually bricking a phone :V.

I would recommend waiting for full support from FlashTool and TWRP before attempting this. At this point if the phone is bricked the only possible way to recover the firmware is to manually re-flash each individual file in the firmware .ftf, and I have not tested that yet.
When can we expect the I41xx variants links?
The only way to currently recover a bricked Xperia 10 is to use NewFlasher (https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...ress-newflasher-xperia-command-line-t3619426) and XperiFirm (https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...perifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142)
Can anyone please test if this works and is safe to install?
If anyone wants to test, and make sure their phone doesn't get bricked, use ./flashboot boot <<boot image>>

Are there any Custom Rom for OPPO A5S model 1909?

i'm just wondering if there is already a way to unlock the bootloader for the OPPO a5s 1909 and flash a costum Rom.
the only method available is to downgrade the version and install bootless root but it's still block the potential to boost the speed of the phone using a clean stock rom. thankss
look
Unlocking bootloader is easy
just use MTKCLIENT TOOL from github
Install MTK drivers
Power off your device when the MTKClient tool is Ready to use
Boot your phone in Brom mode (Vol up+Vol down) and plug in your phone to pc then click start ( after u choose unlock bootloader choice)
Then , TADAAAA
(note : ur data won't be removed ( but have a backup )
But unfortunately I can't find a custom rom for oppo a5s

thank you for the inputs.
yeah the costum rom will be a big factor. the current OS for said device s*cks and eats to much ram. i ended up debloating and still use the same OS.

Almost all the unecessary stuffs. I used a universal debloater and it works. It remove the apps from the system and free some extra rams.
