Good luck .

Hello. Well thank you for helping myself and others with this device. A Sony device is very new to me. I usually would use the stock kernels on HTC and Samsung phones, but I know it's different with these devices. If you get a working kernel, could you give instructions how to install.. Thank you

I would recommend waiting for full support from FlashTool and TWRP before attempting this. At this point if the phone is bricked the only possible way to recover the firmware is to manually re-flash each individual file in the firmware .ftf, and I have not tested that yet.
When can we expect the I41xx variants links?
The only way to currently recover a bricked Xperia 10 is to use NewFlasher (https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...ress-newflasher-xperia-command-line-t3619426) and XperiFirm (https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...perifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142)
Can anyone please test if this works and is safe to install?
If anyone wants to test, and make sure their phone doesn't get bricked, use ./flashboot boot <<boot image>>

Hi,
I am a little new and don't really know about this subject but :
I purchased a new phone : a Gome K1.
This is not tablet but phone. This is a new brandt. This a MTK (MT6757).
For the story, it came to me with chinese ROM, all menus in chinese
I asked to the seller to give me a ROM with playstore and french. They done it.
I flashed their new ROM with a proprietary flash tool. Now I have a android 6 ROM with Playstore, french menus. Well !
But I'd like to know if there is a way to root it, and install a TWRP :
The ROM came with bootloader locked and no recovery. It is entirely blocked.
No way to unlock bootloader via the general way (fastboot oem unlock --> unknown command)
I read some articles that deal with spflashtool and porting TWRP, but I'm new to this and I don't think I will be able to make all these steps correctly to flash a TWRP ...
Does someone has an idea ?
Is my post on the good topic ?
Up, does someone have an idea of how to root it ?
Hello,i also have a Gome K1 phone and I am also interested at rooting it.
There is an ' OEM unlocking option' under the developers option in the settings, have you tried that yet?
If you managed to import twrp and rooted the phone can you pls send here the steps, Thanks
Hello, happy to not be alone with this phone ...
Yes I tried everything, after enabling unknown source, OEM unlocking and USB Debugging developer options :
- All root apks
- all existing root kits using ADB
- Method with a linux distro to access Phone filesystem as root ( cannot see my phone ... )
Now I'm trying to use SP flashtool last version, but even that cannot correctly access the phone to Readback my recovery : there is BROM error, so I think that phone is not compatible with the phone (seen on a forum ...)
So if someone has an idea, he is welcome

When I contacted them, they send me a non rooted custom ROM which embed Google Apps and All language, AND another flash tool.
This flash tool seems to be based on SP flash tool. It seems to have restrictions (no readback ability ...).
I'm not able to backup anything with this tool or with SP flash tool.
Whis spflashtool, when clicking ReadBack, I power off my phone, and plug USB cable.
It begins the process but I immediatly encounter a BROM error :
ERROR: status_brom_cmd_send_da_fail (0xC0060003)
I read a post which indicate to try to plug usb cable when pressing Power plus Volume Up, but I don't think it can work, because I know that their tool works without that operation.
So now I'm still stuck here. Does someone have an idea ?
Hi
On the Russian forum 4pda, the topic GOME K1 we are also discussing and trying to solve the problem of a locked bootloader. So far no results. ROOT is also not yet possible to get.
I've also ported twrp for GOME K1, but there's no point in installing it until the bootloader is unlocked. Otherwise we will get a brick.
Hi
In Developer options there is a setting to unlock bootloader, it's the third toggle down.
Hope this helps.

Hello vsxby,
I was successful in flashing custom ROM that vendor uploaded for me.
So I thing I can flash just the recovery with their tool. I'm not an expert, so I'm just a little affraid to follow a guide to port a TRWP for Gome K1 and try to flash it, since it can brick the phone.
If you want, I can't send you a copy of their tool they sent to me (SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe) ...

Thank you, but I already have this tool. As I wrote before flashing TWRP we need to unlock the bootloader. While this is not impossible to do. But one of our users on 4pda is going to ask the manufacturer to unlock bootloader. In case of success, I will inform you.
If you want to experiment and flash TWRP with a locked bootloader, I can give you the TWRP I made, but I warn you, it's not safe.
Bro,Can you upload the firmware and tools to google drive or something like? It will be very helpful for dealing with this mediatek replica phone(aus6757_66_m),i got some possible factory test MTK AOSP,but the link expires :(

Unfortunately you can't do much with a locked bootloader.. but since you're curious you can extract the nb0 file with this tool:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/nb0-unpacker-packer-tool-t3699464
You need to have at least 8gb of ram on your computer or else it will throw errors during the extract operation!

Maybe you can create a thread about the .Net error to document it for others to see an to get help too!
Also you should check this other thread:

the script which specially patches SONY KERNEL is/was popular because of the DRM FIX which is/was specific with SONY kernels only
however there is GENERAL script to perform many kernel operation by using ANDROID IMAGE KITCHEN

Yes you right, the drmfix is really a big deal for Sony Xperias and it makes it easier for patching of kernel ing and with Sony providing bootloader unlocking officially.
I really love the Nokia 8 and Dats why I purchased it. I hope things turn around soon cos it's almost a year from date of release.

Dear Ones,
I have a Techno Camon CX with an Unlocked Bootloader but No Root.
I have downloaded TWRP for Techno CX CX-H501D1-N-170405V107.zip but my device is CX-H501DEFG-N-190614V212.
I flashed the TWRP since it was and is all available for my device and it got bricked, but i had it recovered.
Now my question are, how hard is it to build a V212 compatible TWRP from V107?
What other options are there for me to get the TWRP for my device as per the build number?
Can someone here please buid one for me? Thanks

You need to find some guides for porting TWRP from one device to a similar device.
You probably won't find any guides that have all the answers you need as far as what needs to be "changed" or "ported" to work on your device because all devices are different. What you will find are guides that explain the "method", you will have to use trail and error and thorough research to figure the specifics of what you need to change, where you need to change it and why you need to change it.

I understand that yes but my problem is that I don't have a laptop or PC to run the program so I'm trying to find another way to get the firmware for my Edge 2021, And if I can't do that is there any custom ROM compatible with this device that I could use to patch it with magisk?
So far I have not seen any custom ROMs supporting this device (I think it should come eventually; the last gen has support).
This post includes a download link for an up to date Android 11 ROM. I haven't used it yet though. I'm a little nervous about downloading ROMs from random links, but since I used the guide from the same user (last post you replied to), it feels trustworthy. But use at your own risk.

oh forgive me for forgetting to mention this...
but I'm 99% sure you REQUIRE a PC to flash images onto a phone, since you use the adb debug tool to manipulate the phone while it's in fastboot mode.

1st method: You need a code from Infinix to unlock. and put that code after the command like "fastboot OEM unlock 0x<insert your unlock code>" if you have otherwise contact the service care at this phone number 1800-4190-525 and ask them regarding unlock code of the bootloader/fastboot/ or OEM key.
2nd method: Go to your nearest service center of Carlcare or Infinix/Itel/Tecno/Spice and ask them about these scenarios maybe they will help you to unlock the bootloader/fastboot/ or OEM.
3rd method: Wait for the next firmware update maybe they will make an update that probably can unlock the bootloader/fastboot/ or OEM.
4th method: Wait for the completion of 1 year, they could maybe make an update that probably unlocks the bootloader/fastboot/ or OEM.
5th method: Sell your phone if you can because probably they will never give the privileges to the users after all it's a budget phone.
I hope you will install GSI ROMs
Have a nice day dude.
By the way, if you need any other help then you are always welcome.

I did not find information on how to unlock the bootloader for X6817, X6816C, X6816 or X6816D.
How do you know that this is possible?
What model variant do you have?

Predicted as I unlocked many bootloader of different brands.
I have Infinix Hot 12 Play ( X6816C).
Ohh sorry, I thought you replied to me.
So do you have any other ways to bypass/skip or deploy this thing?
Try this method also, this guide isn't guaranteed to work on all Unisoc devices especially if they require a different private ke: https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32287.html

Currently, I am using Fedora 37 from the last 4 months and I am using Linux distributions from the last couple of years approximately 2 years.
Also, I have properly installed the package of adb-tools and 51-android.rules for better connectivity from device to device as well as I have made a helpful setup process at this link https://pastebin.com/Fc8xnaag
So could you help me to find out the proper tools to unlock Infinix Hot 12 Play (Unisoc version) which you have discussed?

No problem dude, by the way, you can use Universal Android Debloater application to debloat your android phone just like your Infinix phone graphically without root or Shizuku. I have a good experience after I debloated my phone.
It's available on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux as well as on other operating systems.
This is an informational site here:

Don't worry brother it will not effect on your warranty related things. I have tested that things early which you are talking about. By the way you can restore your all the applications which you are going to uninstall by UAD. And also if you reset or format your phone then all the applications will come back. It's 100% safe.
