Spigen products - hands down awesome all around - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

So I have been a big fan since my gs3 was purchased last year. Their screen protectors and cases were awesome. Now I'm on the gs4 and a little more than a year later I consistently refer to them for everything my phone needs. Perfect screen protection without a wet solution, dropped my phone the other day and case held up the phone just fine. I don't normally plug companies, but their product and shipping speeds have been awesome. Anyone got good or bad stories about them? Share!

I got the Neo Spigen Hybrid and it only lasted about 3 months. At the bottom where the microusb is connected the silver plastic cover broke off. I think it is partly my fault since I had to remove the case everytime I had to charge the phone since the stock cable crapped out and the new monoprice replacement cable didn't fit with the case installed.

Sh!ttiest customer service in the world.

Agreed.

I had a bad one...
I bought the Slim Armor View....
I didn't use the hinged cover until i HAD to cause my phone had no glass, just the exposed digitizer and screen ... I kept using it even after replacing the display and the hinge of the S-view part of the cover broke... I've kept using it and had a small plastic piece break off, from around the same hinge area...
I kinda regret the $45 I paid for it... But it IS a niiiiice looking case... It's got that going for it...

Currently using Spigen GLAStR screen protector, and Neo Hybrid. Excellent IMO.

I'll completely agree with the screen protector. I love the clear screen protectors. They protect the phone, no color loss and fit really really well. But I can't say the same about the Neo Hybrid. I bought the case from amazon and less than 90 days later it broke. I contacted Spigen and they told me since I didn't order from their website, there isn't any warranty. In fact if you read on their site, they only have a 90 day warranty for any of their products and MUST be bought from their site. I really don't care about warranties on screen protectors because, well they're cheap and don't see much wear, but a case needs to withstand, well me and the Hybrid didn't. This isn't to say I'm rough on my phones, but I do take my phone out of the case from time to time and the edge bumper just didn't hold up. Not to mention the back of the case warped. Yes I'm sure it was an original Spigen case, checked the code it came with online and everything. I'm still using a Spigen screen protector, but I ended up getting a Trident Aegis. I know it isn't comparing apples to apples at this point, but the Aegis has a 1 year warranty and though adds bulk to the phone, I'm a big man and the phone feels better in my hand now. My most favorite feature about the case, DUST SHIELDS on the ports and the speaker. Stupid to get excited over i know but I hate dust in my phone lol.

yea they're great cases and all but it irritates me that the ports are all off
I stopped using my case because it was annoying to keep on taking the case off every time to plug in the AUX

Is there any problem with the Neo Hybrid having a sagging issue with it's soft rubber on the back? I know with my Galaxy Nexus, a few months in, the rubber began to sag due to the heat from the phone.
Have they fixed this issue in the SGS4 version?
Thanks!

I've had a Neo Hybrid for the galaxy S4 and had sell it, and i noticed that the rubber in the back had a little space between the rubber and the camera, and i don't remember initially to be like that.
Bought a slim armor and im very happy with it, combed with glslass tr slim and loving it

Yeah that's what I mean when I say "sag" actually. I guess "warped" out have been a better word for it, but there was a huge gap between the back of the phone and the rubber part after a few months. It use to be flush against it, but again, I assume the heat from the phone just messed it up.
Ugh, terrible to know that they still haven't fixed it.

I bought the red Spigen Slim Armor, it's amazing, looks flashy its really protective without sacrificing the slimness of the gs4, the only gripe I have about it is that the paint on the red plastic cover is kinda chipping off, maybe from me dropping it so much =/

I've bought the metal slate one because the glossy ones are finger/dust magnets... :good:

i basically only buy spigen products.
their wide range of selection is very good and i like the way they play with the color.
it makes the ordinary s4 look so non-ordinary

The back is where mine sagged as well, right near the camera opening. Honestly, save your money and go with a different case. my i717 had a cheap $3 case which protected the edges and never ever sagged on the back.

Yeh unfortunately my neohybrid is exhibiting this sagging behavioural too just around the camera where i presume the cpu is

My Spigen Neo-Hybrid case for my GS4 broke a few weeks ago. The hard plastic frame just snapped in half at the thin sections where the USB plug goes. The phone was never dropped, and the case was in perfect shape, other than the break, of course.
I emailed Spigen, twice, and sent them pictures of the broken case, twice. They never even wrote me back. The case was originally bought directly from them (was def. not a knockoff), and they can't even write me back!!
I ended up replacing the case with a Neo-Hybrid knockoff from eBay, and it appears much more sturdy... and it was less than $20 delivered!!! I clearly shouldn't have switched to Spigen cases, with their fragile materials and pathetic customer support. Never again will I buy their overpriced garbage. Think twice before buying one unless you want to he shelling out more cash to replace it when it breaks.

I currently am using the slim armor case. Gives great protection while keeping the phone slim. Really like you can swap out the plastic to other colors if you buy them. Also held up to my first drop the other day with 100% success (thank god).

Case for a contractor ?

I think I'm about to inherit my wife's Nexus 4 since I'm giving her BB Z10 to try out and I need some sort of case.
I'm a contractor so I need some kind of case/pouch with clip on to my belt that would keep my phone secure.
I have Iphone 3 and use otterbox defender and I hated the case ever since I got it, bulky and looks like I'm carrying a satellite phone
Any recommendations ?
Mybat is your best bet. Its bulky, but bulky provides good protectiin

I got a seidio active today and I'm happy with it. I'm a glazier and I work new commercial buildings, etc. Its tough enough.
The Seido cases seem like the only ones I can find with good phone protection and a hard shell covering the screen, which is exactly what I want. I especially like the Convert model. I can't speak for bulkiness, but that is not a priority for me. Unfortunately they are just way too expensive; $70 for a piece of plastic....come on. I am surprised that someone has not come out with a cheap knockoff, but then again the availability of accessories for the Nexus 4 is pretty pitiful. I ordered a poorly rated Amzer case in the meantime just to have hard shell screen protection until a better case comes along.
The one thing missing the cases that are being sold by brand named companies is rubber flaps could cause covering the headphone jack and the USB port to prevent dust or humidity from getting in there. There are only two cases that have this and they are both on ebay.
I have this one and it already saved by phone from a fall off my bike! They also have them in other colors, and you can't beat the price!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALL-BLACK-R...846038?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item589d293716
This one right here appears to be the most heavy duty case I've seen for the Nexus 4, it even has a cover for the speaker! And again it's for an amazing price and a lot of color choices!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Deluxe-Rubb...6?pt=PDA_Accessories&var=&hash=item460d4a7818
Just because the case is made by a popular brand, it doesn't mean it's really that good, look at how many disappointed Otterbox user are there. For what is worth; these cases are worth a shot!

I like the first one you posted, the only thing is that I'm not sure if it will support wireless charging
I'm using a ballistic case. There isn't any covers over the ports, but I've dropped it several times and no issues have come of it.
I work in a kitchen and have slammed the back of the case into stainless steel tables on accident (screen is always towards my leg) with no issues.
It also works well with the charging orb. The back of the case helps the grip of the orb.

This case does work with wireless charging on my orb. It may be a little sensitive with the height range ( the inductive ring is a little below center on the phone). It does work though and does not slide. This case really doesn't get enough credit for what it is. It's not as thick as it looks and isn't too bad with pocket lint.
That other case looks good, but I can't tell if it's a 2 piece design or just 1 piece. If it's one piece TPU I might be a little concerned with scratching up the chrome bezel with sharp corners. This case does appear to be a little too thick for wireless charging.

I didn't notice that; Is there is a hard plastic cover that protects the entire screen as part of the holster? If so, I would definitely pick one up.
Also, is the top and bottom of the phone protected as I see other cases where that is completely exposed?
Finally, I would appreciate it if you could give me the dimensions, especially the width as installed on the phone. I want to get the proper mount that has enough range to accept the width.
Thanks.

The case it 2.9 inches wide by 5.5 in tall by 0.65 in thick or 74 x 140 x 17 mm. And if I understand correctly the hard plastic corners do wrap around to the top and bottom slightly, but there is not exactly hard plastic in the middle of the top and bottom.
Just FYI, I messaged a seller about that second ebay case with the port covers and it's a one piece TPU so it probably isn't as nice of a fit or as shock absorbing. It also looks to be a little thicker on the back surface.
Yeah, the hard plastic only wraps around d to the front in six areas, all corners and in the middle on the sides. If you want some pictures let me know. The case is much slimmer than it appears and much less bulky then the mybat but at the same time it probably offers a little less protection because the mybat has hard plastic on the front.

Thanks tomhub389 and jlear3, I am going to order one.
I used a Seidio Active with the holster for my SGH-T989, Galaxy SII, and loved it. Add to it, while I was removing the phone from the case/skeleton I managed to break a corner off. I sent in a pic of the damage to Seidio and they sent me a brand new skeleton and soft shell at no charge with no questions asked. That's a damn good warranty if you ask me. Long story short, I have a Seidio Active on my Nexus 4 now. Also, they work with wireless charging.

2 Suggestions
First case I got was a Ionic Guardian. It was $5 shipped, and very nice for the money. Some don't like the weird pattern on back, but I got this so if I drop it or something, it doesn't get hurt http://www.amazon.com/Ionic-GUARDIAN-Armor-Google-Nexus/dp/B00A06Z41E
Just ordered this one because it has the dust covers built in, and a kickstand. I hope to use this as the daily driver. The Ionic was amazing in quality for $5, and I hope this new one matches that quality: http://www.amazon.com/BoxWave-Resolute-OA3-Nexus-Case/dp/B000LGBZR0
The kickstand and slightly better looks are a bonus.

Anyone going caseless?

Hate cases on a nice phone, but worried due to reports of the lcd cracking in pockets.
Anyone having luck without a case?

Caseless and Happy
I've had my GS4 caseless since I got it just over two weeks ago, it's still in great condition. I generally don't like using a case on my phones, (I never used a case on my GS2 before this one) as I don't like the look and bulk that it adds, no screen protector either, I'm still amazed by how well Gorilla glass resists scratching, the screen on my GS2 still looks brand new, despite never having a screen protector on it.
Case less all the way, with a screen protector..prob don't neet it but I'm anal like that. Oh and changed the back to a metal one. Gives the phone a "heavier" feel.
Naked with a ArmorSuit Miltary shield screen protector and Seidio spring-clip hoster.
I am thinking of getting the metal back too. they look cool and seem to add weight to the back so the phone might be more likely to fall on the back in the event of a drop.
Im caseless and screen protector less, my phone flung off my lap when i got outta the car the othet day, cartwheeled on asphalt and only left a nick in the bottom right of bezel. No cracks thank god..
I think i may have a few light scratches, may get one of those fancy glass screen protectors everyone's been raving about

Not I. I had my Galaxy S II caseless without a screen protector and it held pretty well... That thing was pretty solid.
I was watching all the drop tests, and seeing how easy Gorilla Glass III actually cracks; even seeing on here where it cracked in peoples pants??? Seeing that this is a bigger device, somewhat harder to hold in my hands, and definitely a lot more slippery than the SII, I do not want to take a chance on the $649.99 device. I also like leaving the device laying flat down on a surface(still getting used to air gestures, but the notification air gesture is cool); but one of the first things to touch the surface while laying flat is the camera lens which bothered me. I also have AT&T insurance but after seeing this case, it made my choice...
Spigen Neo Hybrid Case (Satin Silver)
edit* funny I had a dream last night that I actually cracked my S4. In the dream, it felt so real and that feeling of the cracked screen just really brings you down (sorry guys for the ones who did), but when I woke up, I was so relieved...

You guys crack me up. Spend hundreds for the phone and don't want to spend more than 7.00 on a case. Just Kidding
I prefer a leather pouch. Will get the Spigen one for 29.99. Has always done well for me and allows me to "use" phone with no case.
I am getting 2 32gb S4's tonight. My son still wants a case to use and keeps phone in pocket while at work. Does bending, stocking. Doesn't want case while using the phone, like me. But, doesn't want pouch. Is there a hard case that easily comes off then back on. Looked at many web sites and videos. Seems once they are on, they are not designed to be popping on and off--
OP: Based on my research, I would get some kinda case for the phone. I don't think this one will fair as well as my One S and Blackberries when dropped--
I roll caseless with my S4 and HTC One, both with Ghost Armor front and back.

If I get a case its going to be that exact one. It really is a nice looking case imo. does it add much bulk? doesnt look like it in the pics.

I went caseless until I noticed the metal camera ring got all scratched up. Luckily I found a dead pixel on the display and was able to exchange it because of that.

The king of ultra slim cases is actually NOT Spigen as I initially thought... RINGKE!

So as many of you waiting for your pre-orders last week I went ahead and looked for an ultra slim case for everyday use. Spigen seemed to be a household name and went ahead and bought their Ultra Fit for $10:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I3ULRZG
I was satisfied with it, matte white, fit perfect and snug, protected the back camera and sensors when placed on a table, nothing to complain about. I had thrown out the screen cover because the cut outs were not precise at all, in fact there was no cut out for the upper sensors, only for the home button. Why would i ruin front camera quality with the screen protector over it? yuck.
I then came across Ringke Slim. I have never heard of them before but judging by their high number of reviews, it seemed that they were well versed as well in the case game. at this time i also wanted to get an electric blue case because i got tired of plain white super quick. Also, the screen protector actually had the PERFECT cut out for all sensors and front camera. This was super impressive to me and I gladly put it on even though I don't care much for screen covers in general. This is what i ordered for $9 including shipping:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IPKHP64
Well i received it today and WOW it was made of a far superior plastic. It wasn't because it was thicker but it felt very different. it felt more denser, less paper like. i compared tapping each and the Spigen was very "airy" felt cheap and very "hollow" (best way i could describe it). The sides were completely covered as opposed open which isn't a bad thing but it did feel more complete as a case. Cut outs were perfect as well and charging hasn't been a problem. I quickly realized the Spigen case is actually not as great as I thought now that I had something to really compare it to. I started seeing on the Spigen where the plastic was punched out of the mold (check picture).
Anyways enough talk here's the pictures:
http://dl-1.va.us.xda-developers.co....jpg?key=nBsLK_haY5suFrjdcOa0hA&ts=1397604778
And the gallery plus the Spigen white case for comparison. Notice the inside of the Spigen, wasn't even spray painted completely most likely because they used a clamp to spin it while spraying
http://imgur.com/a/MxMFH
As you can tell Ringke > Spigen in the affordable ultra slim case category.

Agreed, i bought both through amazon, and while i didnt care to use any of the screen protectors the Ringke is MUCH better and really sleek looking. Material kind of feels like the back of the phone and even looks like the back. Only downside is i hate trying to get the freaking waterproof flap out at night! Grrrr
I too have this case and am liking it.
It is hard to hook your fingernail to get the charging flap open although I assume most cases will be similar.
Ok...I'll jump aboard. I bought two cases before I got the S5 in my hands. One was the Ringke and the other was the Spigen Tough Armor.
While the Tough Armor is a very solid case and looks great, it makes the S5 feel like a brick in my hands. On the other hand, the Ringke Slim has a similar texture and gripability as the S5 naked. It doesn't even feel like the device has a case on it at all.
Nice! Defo would give Spigen a run for its money! Great to see competition here and there. At the end, we, the consumers, would benefit on it. More options, right?
Yea I just orderd 2 new Ringke cases. Ill post em up when they comr in tomorrow

thanks for this review man. Was about to order a spigen case and then saw this and after a little more research i just ordered the ringke. I went with the Dot black, I'll post up some pictures to compare with other colors once it comes in.
I got the DOT black I ordered from their site and got the case plus screen protector for $10 with free shipping

I got this case delivered today.. It is AWESOME and for 5 bucks it was a steal.. I crumbled up the useless screen protector and threw it out
I should have gotten white though, because my phone is white and I got the blue color. It kind of looks funny.. I thought blue and white would look good.
It doesn't
I got the spigen neohybrid case and their glas.tr slim glass screen protector. Had literally the same setup on my s4 lol same yellow trim too

I love that spigen hybrid case, SEXY!! but I went through 3 F-#@[email protected]# plastic sleeves, they always broke on the bottom eventually.
So the screen protector is garbage

As you can tell Ringke > Spigen in the affordable ultra slim case category.

I like the case. It feels good in your hand when you hold the phone.
One thing though, on my case the lip around the chrome front trim sides covers more than the lip on the top and bottom. At first I thought I didn't snap it in all the way but it seems like that's just the way it is? Is that how it fits for the rest of you that already have the case?

That's how they all are. Actually I really like this design. It's almost as if its spring loaded, its smaller than our phone, it doesn't just fit like a glove, its actually too small. But the cut outs on the top and bottom allow the plastic to "flex" basically its as if its gripping the hell out of phone, holding into place.
The Spigen hybrid I had for my GS4 was awesome looking, but broke all the time (plastic by the bottom) in anycase, this one is just as nice IMO.
Doesn't add much thickness at all, but will save it from a drop and the camera while on a desk.
If anyone is wondering, I just dunked my phone for 30 minutes with this case. So it doesn't effect the IP68(yea, I said 8, because this thing is pretty much water PROOF) rating.

@chillsen Hey OP, after I read your 1st psot I figured id give it a shot. I've had bad experiences with her cases and the one that you posted a pic of, is the same one I got as well. I got it 3 days ago, and still haven't put it on, in fear it will scratch the outer bezel while putting it on, and taking it off
Have on had this issue at all? Seems like a real snug fit, thought if ask before I pushed my hone into the car lol.... Thanks bud!

i can only say i've had to take the case off and on many times to show off to my friends how thin the actual phone is. i mastered how to take it off by pressing outwards the top left corner. you push it out enough so you can fit a finger through and i just slide it down the side and the whole case pops off. this is the easiest way i found. at first i had a problem because i didn't try a corner but started from the middle of the long side. but to answer your question, no scratches.

I'm 100% sure they are fake. Look at the feedback page, it's full of "Excellent!" and "good quality" multiple times by the same few user accounts.
I just got this delivered today with the white dot pattern. I also ordered the wireless charging back the other day, definitely don't think wireless charging will work with this on - what an idiot I am.

Poll - Do you use a case on your Galaxy S6?

I bought a case but I don't like the appearance and feel of it so I took it off. If I pay 700$ for a nice looking phone I don't want to put it into an ugly case. Especially when it has Gorilla Glass 4 on front and back.
What do you guys think?
MKBHD has a nice video about phone cases here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Btr8uOU0BkI
I hate it too. But i dropped my phone like 2 times average for every phone i owned. So... yeah... i feel safe to "naked" only when i am home
Probaby anyone can suggest a good looking case?
Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Yeah I always run cases on my devices since I like to keep them in prestine condition. I never drop my phones. If I do its maybe once a year lol but I still run one to be safe. I usually rock UAG because I can throw the phone around a little more than normal with those cases.
I didn't have a case on my Samsung Moment. I dropped it once and scratched up the side a bit. I put a skin on my HTC Evo Shift. Dropped it once and put a small dent in the plastic. When I got the S4, I decided I should protect it since it was more than I had ever paid for a phone, so I put a case on it. History suggested that I didn't particularly need it, but I'd rather have it and not need it than not have it when I need it. I can't replace my phone if I break it. I also went UAG on my S4 and loved it. I actually did drop the phone many times, but I might have also been less careful since I knew it had a case on it. With the S6, I wanted something maybe even slimmer than the UAG and that maybe could show off the good looks of my phone, so I went with a Spigen Ultra Hybrid.
I got a case that I love from spigen. It's not bulky, it's clear and it protects it from drop. It has that tech 21 rubbery feel.

I always rock cases on my phones. The S6 being glass on the front and back is definitely rocking one. Gorilla glass or not, it's still glass. I use the spigen neo hybrid. It looks classy and provides an adequate amount of protection for very little bulk added.

This is the case I use and it's very bulky and I don't like fake aluminium plastic. And not to mention the 1-2 mm raised lip front. Please dont say plastic looks classy.
I have always used cases to be on the safe side even though I have only dropped my phone once or twice at the most over the years, I will be using a case on my s6 when it arrives but as yet I'm undecided as to which case to get, I've considered the spiden neo hybrid but I have heard that it can reduce signal strength which I don't like the sound of, so I'm still looking for the right one
If you think this case is bulky, I'd hate to see what you'd say about a Otterbox Commuter or Defender series. That 1-2mm lip serves a purpose as drop protection. I don't consider slapping on a thin plastic low profile case as anything but scratch protection. If I'm going to put a case in a phone, it's primarily for drop protection. That being said, I do have the black version so it doesn't look like "cheap plastic aluminum"
I'm going to buy a simple TPU case, like the spigen liquid crystal

I bought the same case. It makes the phone less slippery wich is good. It also makes it slightly bulkier wich is bad. But it does feel protected.
Do you use that horrible back protector? I'm thinking of trying the case without it, hopefully it won't get scratched.
LOL the poll is so loaded. I have a case but I dont drop my phone. I just like keeping it in pristine condition. Having a case doesn't necessarily mean you are careless....
This is the case i use on mine. Its practically not even there, but offers some protection.
http://www.t-mobile.com/accessories/samsung-galaxy-s-6-protective-cover-clear-silver.html
I have that Spigen crystal clear cover and stopped using it after a day. It always looks dirty and ugly, it irritates me too much. I'll keep it for travelling when needed.
Agree with MKBHD's comments in that video posted earlier, I don't like cases generally and may end up getting a skin to stop this being so slippery like he did with his M8
I use the exact case when I use a case.

Bulky AF but will protect the phone.
I have an iPhone 5S for work and it slipped out of my pocket and dropped from 2 feet high onto a concrete floor right on its top right corner. Screen turned into a spider web. I have a feeling same thing would happen to the S6. Better safe than sorry!

I do use it but I don't think it's that bad lol. I love the case, it's the best one to still be able to see the design and color of the phone while protecting and not making it too bulky.

My 2 cents. Buy a cheap TPU case to use when you first get your phone. First, it takes time for your hands to get used to the shape of a new phone and your risk of dropping the phone is greatest during this period. Second, you will be playing with your new phone more often than you would normally, and increasing the risk of a drop. Third, your anxiety levels when going naked with your brand new and very expensive phone will counterbalance the enjoyment of having a naked phone.
After about a month, get rid of the cheap case and enjoy the phone naked, knowing that if you scratch it or drop it, you now have a reason to buy the next phone on the horizon....
I use the Spigen slim hard case (back cover) but now I cant get the damn thing off the phone. I feel like I'm going to break the phone removing it

Anyone using S6 naked? :p

I've been using the Spigen Slim Armor for a few days. Can't believe how amazing it feels naked without a case!!
i have been using mine for about a month naked, without any screen protector and without any case...i should be looking for a good case but i dont have time.....i advice you to use a bit without the case to feel the real glory and then put a case....
I've been using it naked for about 3 weeks, I know I should get a case, which I will eventually, but for now, I'm just getting used to the phone.
I'm gonna get some insurance instead. Samsung rave about design on this one so it seems a shame to put some plastic over it lol.
I don't use a case. I tried the spigen hybrid neo, but it just made the phone too fat. Right now I'm using only 2 tempered glass protectors.
Using it naked but I've ordered this case from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261828109361?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=560687218047&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Looks quite nice
I am also using it naked , i hate cases and the feel of the phone is missing when it is cased...so i am a fan of a neked one . I have a sticker on the back because i like a little different look of the device and i change the stickers when i get bored of the color i am using...i also have a screen protector just for the sake of it but i am usually very careful.
When it's naked, it's so slick that I'm certain I'm going to drop it.
I'm using mine without a case for a week now it just looks and feels perfect. But I realised that I'm going to have to put it in a case someday to keep it looking great thats why I have ordered this case "Waterfall series by Caseology" from ebay (couldn't find the original link so here is a amazon.com one. Verus made a case similar to this Caseology one that is made out of aluminium instead but I was worried about losing wireless signal with that. Although I don't have the case yet it looks great on pictures and the design is very similar to the S6 itself. As soon as the case arrives I'm going to try out how to looks and feels and then decide if I keep it or not.
Anyway you're not the only one using the S6 naked.
Im using it with no case. Tempered glass on the front and back. The rear glass protector was purchased on ebay. Phone feels less slippery.
I use mine without a case. I love how the phone feels in my hand, the build materials is the reason why i bought it. I know i will eventually put a few dings on it, but heck, i want to enjoy it. And no, I'm not so wealthy that i can afford new phones every few months.

I run a case now however I am going to be taking it off and putting my fly grip directly on the back of the phone. been using it for 3 yrs now on all my devices absolutely love , little pricy for a piece of plastic but it really stands up well and I never drop my phone. flygrip.com
Never used cases on my phones before as they always make the phone look and feel worse. Certainly don't want to cover up my new metal S6 with some plastic! However I do use leather pouches for pocket protection and the like..
Currently liking the Sena ultra slim cases.
I used a case and like most missed the feel of such a great phone. I wrapped the S6 in a Skinomi protective layer recently. Great comprise, a little added protection and still a great feel
Naked. I didn't complain about build quality / materials to put a case on when improvements were finally made

I'm using a Nillkin bumper case and it looks pretty good and feels good while showing off the phone and protecting it from drops.
I normally use my phones naked, but I'm using a case on my S6 because I'm worried about the metal frame. I've seen metal-framed phones get dents/scratches from even short (30cm) drops where plastic phones just bounce without taking damage. I want to sell this phone in a year and get the S7, so it has to stay perfect. So despite my dislike for cases, I'm using a case thick enough to provide drop protection.
I'm in a similar predicament, I got my S6 last week in Gold and I want to show it off so I was thinking of getting a full body screen protector, however I hate the feel of screen protectors when using the phone, I'm hoping to find just a back one or I may just purchase a full body and stick only the back one on.
I'm pretty careful with my phone's and I also replace them quite often, my Note 4 is 6 months old and I only have scuffs on the metal bezel from when I had a case on it, which is ironic that a case caused damage to it!
I purchased a cheap clear plastic case for my S6 on the weekend but after putting it on I didn't like it because it showed all scuffs on the back...
I only use phones naked. I do not see a point of buying an expensive phone and then covering up all the design elements by some cheap case. Plus, I'm really careful with my phone.
