Now that A44 is Rooted, i want to have some custom ROMs for this device... and recovery..
This device runs and MT6573..
and i have heard that very less roms are made for this hardware... is there any one who can work on this device and make something for us.....

Hello guys there i am in very deep trouble as i already tried so many different methods of Rooting this Idiotic Phone micromax A44
I saw that video on Youtube and just can not get my phone rooted, I want to root cause its internal memory is just fills out as times passes..
by the way i tried these methods upto this far

3.Gingerbreak
4.Superoneclick
and there are one or two more softies that i tried and completely lost around and sad also plz let get this little junk rooted...huh plz any one

At last I have rooted micromax A44!!!!! with Kingo root software.
Downlad Kingo root application (freeware) for windows and follow the instructions, rest the Kingo will do for you.

I'm encountering this unsuccessful attempt in the end of the prompt it says. "Mount= operation not permitted"
here's a print screen at the attachment hope you can help me I want to root my phone because it has low internal memory and SUPER low ram which makes it to play limited games due to ram requirements

i spent my last two day looking for soulution for this problem but no thing new
there is no way to do it
but dont give up now am looking in korea site for soulution wait for me

In my experience, Chinese android phones are very fragile and easy to be bricked. Those recovery are tailored for popular models only. You need to learn how to port them for your device if you really wanna install them. Otherwise, I would not suggest trying anything on impulse (speaking of own experience )

The brand of the phone is Qcom huh, and the android is stock Google right? i mean there are no customisations like in Sony, Samsung or HTC.
As my fellow member said, the process is risky and you may brick your phone(just a warning).
You have to flash recovery into phone using Odin, but i am not sure the device will be compatible with Odin.
These threads may help. but make sure you know what you are doing. Proceed only if you are 100% sure of what you are doing as the risk of bricking your phone is very high.

[Q] Questions about a Galaxy S4 Mini Clone?

Recently i bought a Galaxy S4 Mini clone (From China) off eBay and it's been doing pretty well, until recently. The phone has gotten progressively slower and can't handle many tasks at a single time, where as my old android phone (running 2.3 ) could handle multiple tasks at a time without even batting an eyelash. The current clone i have is running Android 4.2.2 and has exactly 1024 MB of Ram, and on average, due to background tasks (Rough 90 MB of ram) and what is allotted to run 4.2.2 (Roughly 0.98 GB of RAM) the phone only has about 25-30 MB of free RAM at any given time. I figure this might be what is causing the phone to slow down, and seemingly freeze on almost every task i give it, even when it is just one thing that is being done at a time. Now, Here are my questions, I saw an article on how android 4.4 can run well using only 512 MB of RAM, and was wondering if this update could be applied to my S4 Mini Clone since it has 1024 MB of RAM? Is this even doable? And if so, where could i search for a ROM or update to 4.4? If nothing can be done, or if my ideas won't work, i'm open to any suggestions and am willing to give any information that might be needed to help.
Also i was able to successfully root the phone using a guide i found here, if that is helpful in anyway.

If you are rooted uninstall some system bloatwares using ES file explorer (Be careful while uninstalling system apps) then try Clean Master and also Greenify

My friend its because you have greenified or force stopped that app. remove the app from greenify if you are using it then it will become normal...

ROOT Wiko Highway Star 4G

Hi all.
I've been trying to get Root access to my Wiko Highway Star 4G for a while, but yet haven't found a method to do that.
The phone got the update from Android KitKat 4.4.4 to Android Lollipop 5.1 in September.
I had the phone rooted previously, by using a piece of software called KingoRoot (not KingRoot), but I removed root access before upgrading the OS, because apparently the update via FOTA would not be available if root permissions were granted.
But after the update, KingoRoot is not capable of rooting the phone anymore. I've tried all the methods listed on XDA, but none of them got positive results.
If anyone had a clue on how to root the phone, I'd be very grateful.

Nice device so far. Been migrating from another MT6752 device (mlais m52), but build quality of the Wiko is way better.
Being able to root it would be great, I hope someone comes along with a solution to our little problem

After someone mentioned it on MyDealz, I tried KingRoot today - and it worked!
Dunno if they have anything changed. I tried yesterday with KingRoot (and other tools) without luck. The only thing I changed on my side: I factory-resetted my phone this morning. Maybe this helped..

In youtube you can find a Video In Spanish but is TWRP and CWM for Wiko Highway Star and Lanix Ilium L1100 (Are the same devices but Wiko for Europe and Lanix for Latin America) the youtube user that upload the video is Rudr3s, if you can search the video in spanish is better for find very fast, write a tittle like this: Descargar TWRP para Lanix Ilium L1100 y Wiko Highway Star (Put the captions in English by Translate)

Bad idea this video !! It just kill my phone... Boot loop + when you link your phone to your computer the phone can't be turned off.
