[Q] Custom rom

Hy folks!
2 weeks ago I bought a Mid tablet with Android 4.0.4 ,I want to cook a rom but i don't know wich one use !
Anyone can help me ??
To be clearer the specifications of my Tablet are as follows:
Manufacturer: MID
Brand: softwinners
CPU hardware: sun4i
CPU model: ARMv7 Processor (VFPv3, NEON)
CPU frequency: 300.0 ~ 1200.0 MHz

Re: guys I found on google how to backup my rom but cmw gave me an error : it s not compatible with mid tablet.
Is there an other way to backup my rom without cmw??

it is based on which cpu?allwinner a10/13?rockchip?vimicro?then search rom for it.

Benchmark gave me device's name CRANE-A721 i found a firmware .img , i think it is the original rom but i want to open it but winrar and 7zip gave error how can i open it ??

.img file can be open by iso software.here you have cm10 for allwinner a10 present;just search for allwinner a10

In my experience, Chinese android phones are very fragile and easy to be bricked. Those recovery are tailored for popular models only. You need to learn how to port them for your device if you really wanna install them. Otherwise, I would not suggest trying anything on impulse (speaking of own experience )

The brand of the phone is Qcom huh, and the android is stock Google right? i mean there are no customisations like in Sony, Samsung or HTC.
As my fellow member said, the process is risky and you may brick your phone(just a warning).
You have to flash recovery into phone using Odin, but i am not sure the device will be compatible with Odin.
These threads may help. but make sure you know what you are doing. Proceed only if you are 100% sure of what you are doing as the risk of bricking your phone is very high.

May you post a link to the phone? E.g. to the shop selling it? Whatever you do --> 256MB Ram is not enough to make big steps The specifications are not related to the original S4 mini!!! Original phone has 2x 1,7GHz Qualcom chipset and 1536MB ram. Unfortunately its more a very bad copy than a "clone". Just get me a link to the phone's webpage and I'll see what i may do to help a bit speeding up prformance.

I really don't understand you. If your EFS partition is bricked, you will not gain anything by flashing any firmware...

[Q] Trying to install custom rom to fake Galaxy S4

Hi all,
Long story short, my brother was scamed to buy Galaxy S4. Now I'm trying to install custom rom on it because the current rom has 50mb of RAM free... I tried with many recoveries, but non was successfull.
Any tips?
Hardware specification of the fake S4 is :
(according to antutu)
Brand : ALPS
Model: GT-I9500
OS: Android 4.4.4
CPU Model MT 6589 (quad @ 1Ghz)
GPU: Mali - 400 MP
Resolution 480x854
RAM: 512 MB
System storage is 120MB (if I can read corectly )
On this current rom GPS is not working (tried somo of Uncle MTK fixes but non worked, I think it's a bad rom)
Any suggestions?

[Completed] Rooting a cheap tablet

I got this cheap tablet from my phone provider for free and i want to root it but i can't find it listed anywhere. I tried kingroot, kingoroot and some other one click root apps but none of them work.
Also i found a tablet mine is probably a rip-off of it has the same specs as mine and looks the same except it has a led for the camera.
Mine is a "Diva QC-703GN" the tablet with the same specs is a Plum Optimax 7.0. here are the specs as far as i know:
quad-core Arm Cortex-A7 1.30GHz
Gpu Mali-400MP
1gb Ddr3 Ram
The information on about tablet is:
Android Version 5.1
Android security patch level 2016-06-01
Baseband Version MOLY.WR8.W1449.MD.WG.V39.2016/03/31 16:37
