Are you use Vengeance kernel or stock kernel? If you use Vengeance kernel, you follow this step.
copy Kernel_Vengeance_TaoShan.zip to your SD Card.
Turn off your phone.
After Sony logo, wait until blue light at the bottom appear, hit volume key.
After that, you will feel vibrate and enter ClockworkMod Recovery.
Volume button for choose and power button for enter.
Go Install Zip > Choose zip from external sdcard > ( choose Kernel_Vengeance_TaoShan.zip )
Enter +++++Go Back+++++ and you can see Reboot system now, enter that.
Hope this step can help you, if you using Vengeance Kernel
* sorry if my english bad :crying:

Enjoy !!!
XXKPE
Guide For Rooting
Note:Before rooting, make sure your Samsung I9003 Driver is already installed if not you will stuck up at "Waiting for device"
1.) After Flashing (2 times [unknown CSC problem]) To the New ROM (XXKPE) Go to Downloading Mode By pressing volume down + menu button + power button and Flash the Phone Using the PDA file of the [I9003][CWM] ClockworkMod Recovery porting for I9003

2.) Now You Can Root The Phone Using Any SuperOneClick (kernel panic occurs like in KP9 & kp7 - no problem)
(I Used SuperOneClickv2.0b1-ShortFuse)
NOTE: After rooting, you wont have busybox, so if you require commands like cp, download busybox installer from market and install busybox.

Thats up to You dude
Because If your camera and your CSC (*#1234#) is working fine then you dont have to flash twice
(I have to flash twice for my CSC to be valid. first t was showing unknown)
This method is just for rooting (this doesnt depend on how many times you flash)

Phone reboots into recovery always, soft brick?

I was flashing different roms onto my I5801 to find which one would work best for me, but now my phone now can't boot. It boots directly into recovery every time. I've tried re-flashing the original roms but it doesn't seem to fix it. Any ideas on how i could get it to boot normally again? Thank you.

[Q] Is there a way to boot up my Sony Xperia Tipo in recovery mode?

My xperia tipo smartphone won't boot up . I think this has to do with the build.prop file which is in the system directory. In an attempt to make my phone run Modern Combat 2, I downloaded a custom build.prop file from here and replaced it with the original one (I made a backup first in the sd card directory). Then I tried to reboot my phone, but now it won't boot . It only shows me the sony logo and stays there. Even after waiting an hour, still nothing. I've tried many ways to boot my xperia tipo in recovery mode, like holding down power button and Vol Up, or by pressing the screen repeatendly after the sony logo appears and MANY MORE, but no luck. I'M SO PISSED WITH MYSELF! Can anyone help?
You could maybe try to install the stock rom over it. Flashtool + *.tft rom.

THIS THREAD IS SO OLD! I WAS A NEWBIE AT ANDROID PHONES BACK THEN. NOW PRO
When you flash recovery with recoverx, you can't boot up into recovery when in stock kernel. So flash a kernel (i use vegeance) through flashtool, and when u boot up your phone, when the led light turns pink, press vol up/down a few times.
There you go!

If you have an xperia smartphone, you can go on "phone" and type *#*#7378423#*#*. A service menu will come up if you typed it right. Then go to "service info" > "customization" and then search for "bootloader unlock allowed". If that says yes, you can unlock it. If it says no or it doesn't exist, then you can't do it.

1)first of all extract cm11 (fxp or official doesn't matter) into any folder .. here you will see the boot.img file
2)okay open flashtool, click the flash button .. and select the fastboot mode
3)then switch off your phone and go into fastboot mode while holding the volume up button .. and connecting your phone with usb cable, you will see a blue notification light which means you're in the fastboot mode.
4)flashtool will detect your phone and will display the message "device connected in fastboot mode"
5)select "select kernel to flash"
6)browse to the boot.img file (it will not be visible first so select the *.img in scroll down menu)
7)open it and the cm recovery will be flashed, after that switch on your phone, press the volume up button two times to go into recovery
8)wipe data/wipe chache
9)install cm11 then install gapps and reboot !
