[Q] Wifi Hotspot Not Working After Root :S - General Questions and Answers

I've just rooted my Xperia Z c6603 using this tutorial: http://www.androible.com/root-sony-xperia-z-c6603-android-4-2-2-jelly-bean-official-firmware/
Now since rooting it my wifi-hotspot won't turn on. I tried using an alternative app to get it working and that didn't work either, however it printed out an error log displaying why it wouldn't turn on.

Yeah I know I can do that, but do you think there's any possible way I can have it working and be rooted? Like a new kernal or something?

Wifi Direct for Nexus S????

I am wondering why I simply cannot find any way to install Wifi Direct onto my Nexus S. When ICS came out tons of articles like
androidauthority,com/nexus-s-how-to-enable-face-unlock-44254
< this one popped up all around Google. (I can't post links yet so please change the ,com into a period) Is there any way to get Wifi Direct on the Nexus S too? I think it's a really underrated phone. I have heard that changing roms may help but i have heard about all these issues with roms and missing features so i would prefer to stay stock.
http://www.androidauthority.com/nexus-s-how-to-enable-face-unlock-44254/ is an example of what im talking about. Is there anything like this but with wifi direct instead of face unlock?

I was hoping i dont have to flash any roms but i guess so. Does this rom have any kinds of missing features or issues?

There is already a thread on this app by the developer here. No reason to have it. Did you ask his permission to post his app? Also just unrooting your phone does not regain your warrenty.

Galaxy note camera issue

Hello, everybody!
Can someone tell what to do with this error that came when i try to use the camera? I havent dropped the phone or anything else similar. I do also installed custom camera (4.2 to use photosphere) while i was on stock 4.1.2 jb rom, then i uninstalled stock camera with titanium backup. Could this be the problem? I attached 2 screenshots to see. First is when i start camera app and second when i use flashlight for market. Thank you very much!
