I keep up with a few other forums and XDA is the only one with a "thanks" button. and no problem bro!

is there a way to manually replace the splash screen (im on AOKP 1-20-2014) by replacing a system file with the image i would like to see as a splash screen?
also whenever i reboot into recovery i still get the CM11 Splash screen but the aokp screen any other time .. i had CM11 installed before AOKP released KITKAT nightlies ... anyone have an idea as to why ?

This is the stock Pop Up Browser from the Galaxy Note 2 (N7100). It works exactly the same on our Galaxy S4!!! It's only been tested on the I9505 variant, however!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the .zip file from the above link
2. Flash it through Custom Recovery (CWM/PHILZ/TWRP)

You want to take one for the team and test it ? Just kidding my friend... However, there is no way of bricking your phone by flashing this zip (which in essence just contains an .apk file).... IMO worst case scenario is that the app doesnt work... But again, even though I always encourage testing, im not saying you should do it my friend.... It's your "baby" (and an expensive one nonetheless)!!!

I would manually uninstall the pop up browser you installed before and flash this one.... wipe cache when in recovery before flashing the new zip file...

Unfortunately no
The situation with android and flash player support has become ridiculous.... For me only "boat browser" lets me view flash content....

People have their opinions! I love samsung too! But I'm not a big fan of touchwiz. I love AOSP and Sense 5.

I actually went from a Nexus 4 to a Touchwiz I337/AT&T GS4 then sold that for a I9505G. I like Touchwiz and it definitely has stuff I wish Google would add to the stock interface. Alas, though, once you're used to stock Android, it's really hard to use anything else. In the end, the I9505G is the best of both worlds - stock Android on an awesome piece of hardware, plus SIM-unlocked and bootloader-unlockable.
Yeah, I lost a few cool features like air view, but the S-View cover still works with it and WatchOn can still use the IR blaster. Those are the most important things to me.

Because chainfire is working on the locked bootloader in 4.2.2 and I'm sure he'd like to compare the two.
After all you'd be quite pi**ed if you found you'd flashed it, it had problems and you couldn't go back wouldn't you?

[App] Galaxy Reboot Tools

Galaxy Reboot Tools
This is a little project I have had done for sometime now and now it is time for some feed back. It is just a simple app to reboot ect and some other cool stuff to go along with it.
Also this has been tested on the Note 3 Note 2 and Galaxy S 4

Yes Sir just been laying low,but got some cool stuff coming out soon. On the HTC one download mode which is the bootloader won't work because I can make a HTC version. Just two lines of code I need to change.

Yeah Samsung's bootloader is called Download Mode. Check everything out and I will whip it up. You are down to test it for me?
