[Q] Bluetooth music problems on Droid MAXX ? - Droid Ultra Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have read in another forum that some Droid MAXX users have experienced problems while playing music via Bluetooth in their car or Bluetooth speakers. They have reported a static sound. Have any of you experienced this?

I stream music with my LG tones and they work great. Every once in awhile they will lose BT connection, but overall they are great.

I stream music to my Prius from my Droid Maxx and haven't heard any static sound. The only problem I am seeing is that it blips when changing songs; something my old Bionic never had an issue with.

[Q] audio out on the dock too quiet

the output for audio on both the standard and hd dock is so much quieter than plugging headphones straight into the headphone jack on top of the xoom. anyone else notice this problem or possibly have a solution? also, the built in speaker on the hd dock seems to be plagued with this low volume issue as well. sorry if this is an old issue but ive been googling all night without finding anything.
I don't find the HD dock speaker to be too quiet. I use it to fill a large room with music, though it's not like I've got a bank of Marshalls, lol.

Bluetooth Pairing Infinity to Razr MAXX: No Audio Controls?

I have paired my TF700 to my MAXX, but cannot get any audio controls. I wanted to us the TF700 as a BT "headset" IE: Speakerphone.
Can someone else give it a shot so I can determine if it is me, or because it just isn't meant to be. thanks!

Can I turn my HD into a monitor via hdmi?

Hey I'm just wondering if it is possible in anyway to turn my phone into a monitor for my raspberry pi? Is there like an app that let's me plug it in thru the hdmi but instead of being an output on the phone have it be a input like a typical monitor?

While I don't know this for certain, I believe HDMI is not bi-directional connections for video. Meaning, the RazrHD hdmi port outputs video only.
Can I use teamview or anything similar to remotely control?

Motorola aptX Bluetooth Codec

I was researching bluetooth receivers for my home stereo and came across ones touting aptX audio codec for hi-fidelity sound over bluetooth. I then wondered if my RMHD was capable of it. I did not see it listed in the specs, but I went to csr's website and it is listed as having aptx codec. http://www.csr.com/technology-solutions/av/audio-products-powered-by-csr-aptx/smartphone
I have been avoiding bluetooth audio because of the loss of audio quality. Does anyone have experience with aptX? Is it as good as hardwired as it claims to be?
I stream Pandora via Bluetooth.. sounds fine
And no messy wires

[Q] Car dock sound to phone speaker not car speakers.

Hi,
When I dock my Razr HD (JB 4.1.2) to my genuine Motorola car dock, my music will automatically route to the car speakers, which is what I want but for incoming and outgoing calls the audio goes to the phones external speaker by default. I can touch the speaker button that then routes the audio to the car speakers but how do I make call audio route to the car speakers by default and not the phones external speaker?
If there isn't a setting I can change then maybe an app that will do it for me?
It seems a little odd that it should default to the phones speaker as I thought the whole idea of a dock is to have less user input whilst driving, I'm sure ICS wasn't like this.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure this is how Motorola sets it up, this exact same situation happened on my old original razr xt910 with the official moto car dock. never found a setting that could fix it. Stupid Moto. lol

Mine routes it correctly. I have a pioneer head unit and the voice audio goes to my speakers via Bluetooth.
