Note that it might be best to post in the topic/thread that decalex linked to in the OP, as it's the "general AOKPCB" thread. It's very hard for remicks and I to maintain a dedicated device thread for all of the 30+ devices we build for!!
So once again, thanks to all for the positive notes, and big thanks to decalex for creating this thread Cheers!

HTC One S (Ville) Specific
Download & Installation
• Recommend full wipe
• Download Ville (One S) ROM and Gapps (at bottom)
From http://pcb.team.broc.co/li/aokpcb/r2-official
This is recommended, for now
• Open ROM zip with 7Zip, pull out boot.img
(note: leave the boot.img in ROM. Extracting will just copy it out, but leave the ROM as is).
• fastboot flash boot boot.img (in fastboot usb)
• Reboot recovery
• Flash ROM.zip in recovery
• Flash Gapps.zip in recovery
• Reboot
Cool Thank you.
by the way: If you are searching for an HTC ONE S folder in the nightly section... You have to choose "ville".
// testing it now ..

Most of the same bugs as AOKP and CM9, as far as I can see, but I'll keep updating the OP. It actually has been more stable than the b37 of AOKP I was using.
But all in all, it has been solid so far on my end. Ill add the known bugs to the OP tomor.

This is the best theme I have ever seen. Totally my style. Great work!
Problem is I have downloaded it and everything seems fine except it will not connect to my network. Will not search networks says radio is turned off. Tried setting apn ...doesn't work. Does not show any phone number. I have a US T-Mobile phone. Wi-Fi works but no T-Mobile connection.
Anyone have any ideas?

Well I reflashed the rom zip and gapps. Then I had it search network and it finally connected Now a new problem...when I select an app the border of the screen flashes red as it opens the app. It did not do this before.
Edit: Must have been a bad flash. I used rom manager. I flashed again by rebooting to recovery and now no more red flashes. Everything working fine

the 0429 gapps are the ones linked under the R2 Builds
The only reason I didn't include direct links is because I expect them to update this ROM somewhat regularly.. and the gapps package may get updated as well.
but for now:
http://pcb.team.broc.co/li/file_download/61/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
You can also almost always grab them from goo.im/gapps
Install question ?
I pull out "boot.img" from zip and flash it through fastboot.
Then i flash "Rom.zip" with or without boot.img ??

Want to flash another Kernel, such as KT? Install/flash the attached zip in same session as your Kernel Flash
I interoperated fixes for the power button issue, not the revert that is currently being used by Kernel devs. The fixes I interoperated are not "officially" merged into CM, thats why Kernel devs dont have what it needs to light the display of Slim. I guess this is my bad for trying to be ahead of the game
Flashing the attached file in the same recovery session as your kernel flash will "light the display". This is tested with KT, not tested with LK...
look above for fixes ^

Based off AOSP with pulls from CM/AOKP. Post 2 has link for NFC patch so yeah. Make a back up, U no like, U restore. I have no echo, havent checked volume on calls. Im a set it and leave it user, also never use auto brightness so that I havent checked either. A general rule of thumb in early AOSP development, if its broke on one then it broke on them all. There are a $hit load of options in ASS (Advanced Slim Settings) and developer options. OP will be updated in due time, wanted to get this out for everyone to use

Somewhat, it has files/apps that are used across all supported devices. If you were to flash d2vzw and gapps instead of common you would be in a bootloop from Hell. You can flash another gapps set after common (recommend after you boot once), like inverted or something. but common is a must...
I am really excited about trying this ROM out. Are these steps correct?
1. Factory reset. Wipe cache. Wipe dalvik.
2. Flash d2vzw.zip
3. Flash common.
4. Flash Google now.
5. Flash charge ani and extras.
Boot up
Recovery again. Flash inverted gapps.
Reboot.
Sound right? Thanks

Coooooooooooooool something new, What about modem and kernel? Does it use EPIC modem and is kernel built in? I see that uses Slim gapps, so just get the whatever is latest? Standard all clean install? or coming from Slim I can do dirty install? I am asking as I am on nexus modem with slim 6.

Have not tested Halo, but haptic feedback is most definitely working for me, & the soft/HW keyboard switching as well. Perhaps a bad download?

I was coming from touchwiz rom. I wiped all partitions and flashed illusion and slim gapps. It got stuck on samsung boot. I had to restore my backup cause I couldn't get it to boot. Does this have a kernel? Do I have to flash a jelly bean kernel to get it to boot?

I had the same issue when flashing this rom yesterday. I ended up trying to flash 4 times from a fresh odin flash each time. So 4 rom flashes and 5 odin flashes later and I am on Domination. I got tired of trying, lol. It wasn't a bad download as I compared MD5's, so ... yea.
It looks like it maybe wasn't converting from BML to MTD, and wasn't dropping in a MTD recovery. I may be incorrect there, but I got tired of it all and wanted a working device again.

Alright folks, here's another update... 4.3 is officially merged!! I just did the last part of it and caught with CyanogenMod as far as frameworks goes.

I'm still not going to promise an ETA, but I will be doing what I can to get everything functioning the way it needs to be. Thanks peeps for remaining patient through a busy part of my life recently. My Testers:
@berniesteven
@bzzybfrm313
@Smittiegee19
If I've left anyone out it wasn't on purpose, just PM me and I'll add ya to the list.
If you're using a 4.2.2 Rom installation should be easy. If you're updated to a new recovery for 4.3, there is no reason to downgrade or go back to the older recovery. @berniesteven and I installed from the newer TWRP 2.6.0.3
1. reboot into recovery and make a backup
2. wipe cachce & dalvik-cache
3. if coming from another rom format system & data
4. Install, reboot, and enjoy.

I hope you guys enjoy it. All of the Testers said they liked it. @berniesteven said he has switched to it from other Roms available.
Bugs:
Had an issue with Bluetooth calls causing a soft reboot.
Sometimes when un-installing an app xposed will pop up a message, app will still un-install.

Hadn't added it yet. lol. Was making sure I got everything in. :victory:
This ROM is slick. I know that the 4.3 craze is cracking for the SR right now, but this is definitely worth it. I drove it for a few days and never ran into anything except the Bluetooth issue. Can perform with all the other 4.2.2 ROMs. Give this first offering a shot. Again, good job bro!. I'll test whatever you got in the future.

Glad to see you got it posted now. Will test out ota. Question do we have to flash over the other one or can we just flash the ota by itself. Thanks again:good:

Dirty flash, just the OTA. If you installed another kernel over it, you'll need to install the kernel again.
EDIT: just noticed my gapps aren't installed. You may have to reinstall them.
Officially UN-official. Thought I'd share.
EDIT: Title updated.

No (i think)but you can go under developer options and change your animation scales.
Yes. You can turn animation off in the developer options. Just checked. Guess everyone's enjoying the rom. Make sure and try the alternate theme. It's pretty neat.

I think that's the plan. It's still early. I'm talking to houst0nn right now about using his device trees and making one build that will boot across different G2 variants. He's got some brilliant ideas on where we should be heading.
arcardinal, check you inbox. Sent you a message.

Thanks for bringing Slim to us, So, I am not sure how to report this without simple saying $%#@ is missing I dont have the option to set menu as a key. When setting up NavBar, I prefer to have long press as menu, but it is not there as a choice. Its also not an option for a key at all, as far as I can tell? Anyone else? Or maybe I just had a bad flash.

It is not an option in Slimbean. It was removed a few builds ago. They decided to take AOSP approach to menu key.
Lovin how the development is growing and growing. Thank you for slim

Quick, very noob question. Using TWRP, I get the option to wipe cahce and dalvik cache. Which one do I wipe? This ROM looks sick.
