... I have also been making more progress on the PCB theme that's integrated, so it'd be great to hear your feedback too. Note that it might be best to post in the topic/thread that decalex linked to in the OP, as it's the "general AOKPCB" thread. It's very hard for remicks and I to maintain a dedicated device thread for all of the 30+ devices we build for!!
So once again, thanks to all for the positive notes, and big thanks to decalex for creating this thread Cheers!

HTC One S (Ville) Specific
Download & Installation
• Recommend full wipe
• Download Ville (One S) ROM and Gapps (at bottom)
From http://pcb.team.broc.co/li/aokpcb/r2-official
This is recommended, for now
• Open ROM zip with 7Zip, pull out boot.img
(note: leave the boot.img in ROM. Extracting will just copy it out, but leave the ROM as is).
• fastboot flash boot boot.img (in fastboot usb)
• Reboot recovery
• Flash ROM.zip in recovery
• Flash Gapps.zip in recovery
• Reboot
Cool Thank you.
by the way: If you are searching for an HTC ONE S folder in the nightly section... You have to choose "ville".

Most of the same bugs as AOKP and CM9, as far as I can see, but I'll keep updating the OP. It actually has been more stable than the b37 of AOKP I was using.
But all in all, it has been solid so far on my end. Ill add the known bugs to the OP tomor.

Looks amazing. Going to try and give my full review in a few hours. @OP, yes, can you please list the issues in the OP, thanks!
On a side note, what is the progress of getting the camera to work? No word at all on any progress on any AOSP ROM.
Great.
Thanks...

This is the best theme I have ever seen. Totally my style. Great work!
Problem is I have downloaded it and everything seems fine except it will not connect to my network. Will not search networks says radio is turned off. Tried setting apn ...doesn't work. Does not show any phone number. I have a US T-Mobile phone. Wi-Fi works but no T-Mobile connection.
Anyone have any ideas?

Well I reflashed the rom zip and gapps. Then I had it search network and it finally connected Now a new problem...when I select an app the border of the screen flashes red as it opens the app. It did not do this before.
Edit: Must have been a bad flash. I used rom manager. I flashed again by rebooting to recovery and now no more red flashes. Everything working fine
What is the right gapps zip?

the 0429 gapps are the ones linked under the R2 Builds
The only reason I didn't include direct links is because I expect them to update this ROM somewhat regularly.. and the gapps package may get updated as well.
but for now:
http://pcb.team.broc.co/li/file_download/61/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
You can also almost always grab them from goo.im/gapps
Install question ?
I pull out "boot.img" from zip and flash it through fastboot.
Then i flash "Rom.zip" with or without boot.img ??

Hello! This is an ongoing project to bring AOSP Jellybean to the HTC One S with the S4 processor. It is based CM10. It is completely compiled from source and it will stay that way! Not an SDK port here! I will try to release a new build at least once a week.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS OR HARM TO YOUR PHONE, BUT I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP WITH IT!
Please do not kang my rom or use anything without my permission.
GO HERE FOR GENERAL QUESTIONS/COMMENTS: GENERAL QUESTION THREAD
Now, on to the good stuff .
What is not working:
Code:
Camera has issues*
Headphones (fix available)*
Annoying SIM unlock prompt on boot (hit dismiss and everything works fine)*
YouTube reboots UI when rotated
* = High priority
What is working:
Code:
System Processes
Camera (to a certain point)
Sound
WiFi
Bluetooth
Mobile Data/Network/4G/3G/2G
Touchscreen
Multitouch
Google Now/Voice Search
LED Light
LED Torch
Wifi Hotspot
WiFi calling (through Google Voice)
Everything else that is not listed in the "Not Working" section :D
For now, use THIS APP to temporarily fix the headphones issue.
It is highly recommended that you flash with TWRP. If you flash with ClockworkMod, you will have to flash the boot.img manually in fastboot
If you find a bug (in the rom, not on the ground lol), please report it!
Flashing Instructions:
1. Download ROM
2. Reboot into bootloader
3. Flash the boot.img included in the ROM.zip through fastboot
4. Reboot into recovery
5. WIPE DATA (FACTORY RESET), CACHE, AND DALVIK CACHE
6. Flash the ROM itself
7. Reboot
8. Enjoy!
You can skip wiping data from step 5 if you are coming from an older version of COLDBLOODED
YOU DO NOT NEED TO FLASH GAPPS AS THEY ARE ALREADY IN THE ROM! I WILL ALWAYS UPDATE THE GAPPS TO THE LATEST VERSION!

MIUI is like iOS. No app drawer but tons of themes. It also appears there is no bug list so the only ones I assume are there are native to our CM10 only.

I didn't do anything other then think about it a little bit. Easiest fix around are the ones provided.
BUT
Only s-off users can use the scverhagen's kernel zips because oh how they are posted, which is zImage format. To the best of my knowledge I don't think s-on users can flash the zImage but I could be wrong I'm s-off and never tinkered in s-on land.
Camera and Browser need fixing

If you're using a 4.2.2 Rom installation should be easy. If you're updated to a new recovery for 4.3, there is no reason to downgrade or go back to the older recovery. @berniesteven and I installed from the newer TWRP 2.6.0.3
1. reboot into recovery and make a backup
2. wipe cachce & dalvik-cache
3. if coming from another rom format system & data
4. Install, reboot, and enjoy.

This ROM is slick. I know that the 4.3 craze is cracking for the SR right now, but this is definitely worth it. I drove it for a few days and never ran into anything except the Bluetooth issue. Can perform with all the other 4.2.2 ROMs. Give this first offering a shot. Again, good job bro!. I'll test whatever you got in the future.

No (i think)but you can go under developer options and change your animation scales.
Yes. You can turn animation off in the developer options. Just checked. Guess everyone's enjoying the rom. Make sure and try the alternate theme. It's pretty neat.

I'm always happy with your job, and very thankful. You are great man!
Tried flashing twrp 2.7.0.8 for the ville in the link and it didn't work. Reboots to TWRP screen, but the TWRP image just repeatedly flashes on/off without ever going into the recovery.
MD5 revealed good checksum.
I didn't use the dm file.
Tried flashing the ROM with 2.7.0 and 2.6.3 since those worked properly with phone, but failed as expected.

That is a known issue. Once you flash the new TWRP, please go to sdcard/TWRP and delete the .twrps file which is the settings. The new TWRP is unofficial so you need to clean everything

very nice, everything is beautful already since bootanimation! Tho it seems it needs SuperSU flashed aswell. Maybe add it to install instructions?
Great work again Droyd! You are a blessing! Cheers!
Woohoo, love this new one. Soo smooth and Slim is just the perfect base.
Great work man!
Installation with linked TWRP without any problems, flashed also SuperSU via recovery.
Only thing I'm missing is lockscreen notifications. Peek is activating the proximity sensor when screen is off which means battery drain for me.

Been testing for about a day - great ROM and very stable first release. I had two random reboots just after setting up the phone that haven't occurred since.
I believe that there is a bug concerning security/lockscreen options. I'm a fan of pattern lock but I can't change the setting. Nothing happens when I click the respective button.
Also Lockscreen notifications would be great with this rom
cheers

Great Rom though. Even missing lockscreen notification cause peek doesn't work properly for me. Sometimes it's not responding. Even if I leave the phone in Pocket while receiving a notification and put it out some time later, screen stays black... So for me it's just not practicable. But again, everything else works fine, great Rom though! Thnx...
